Kamurocho is located in a small plaza, but there is usually plenty of parking. It is a very basic and simple looking shop, but they have a few dessert choices, plenty of coffee/tea options, and they offer Japanese shaved ice as well. I did not get a chance to try their shaved ice, which was a bummer. I tried their basic milk tea, which probably was not the best choice, so if I am ever back - maybe I will try one of their signature drinks along with their shaved ice. Their milk tea was not that great, it tasted just like if I poured a cup of milk in a cup of hot tea with some sugar packets. read more

So glad I spotted Kamurocho when I picked up my order from Nyonya Cafe next door. The owner was super sweet and accommodated my request to make the honeycombe latte less sweet - it's so good. Would definitely take this over a regular latte any day - didn't know how big a difference a honeycombe sweetener would make to the taste of my coffee! She makes everything in front of you and offered a to-go cup holder as well since I also ordered a roasted matcha latte (strong roasted taste but it doesn't overpower the matcha which I loved). Highly recommend grabbing your daily coffee or tea here instead of a chain if you can! read more

This place seems like a wholesome family-owned hangout spot. My boyfriend and I came here to escape the heat with some mango snow. I would highly recommend the snow. The topping did not taste at all superficial. The mango on top tasted like a ripe blended mango with mango bits. Great place for boba! The owner is a sweet lady who enjoys making drinks and truly cares about her customers. She puts a lot of care in her drinks and it really shows. Because she is the only one making all the orders, please be kind and patient. I remember coming here when the shop first opened in 2020 and there were only a few items on the menu. The menu has expanded since and the quality remains top-notch! I enjoy the Hojicha latte, roasted matcha rice latte, matcha strawberry latte, and black milk tea. These drinks are perfectly crafted. Found this local spot recently when I was in search of a boba fix at 9am. None of my regular cafes are open until at least 11am. This small family owned tea house is run by a very kind lady. I ordered a medium iced hong kong milk tea half sweet. It came out to be just under $6 so the price is on par with other shops in the area. The flavor was bold with a silky texture. I enjoyed my drink a lot! I think this place could use some sprucing up though for sure. It's located in an old plaza that doesn't receive a lot of foot traffic. read more

I got their honey comb latte and it was good! When you sip it at first, it's a little bland however as the honeycomb melt into the drink, I can't explain it. It's very different in a good way. It's not "oh it's sweeter now" but it adds a nice flavoring to the coffee. Since getting it, I got it twice in a row. Only complaint is, it does take a long time for your order because the owner "made to order" and she's by herself.. so just be patient or call in ahead! read more

Ordered the honeycomb latte, hojicha latte and a lychee green tea with boba. The only good thing was the honeycomb latte. I recommend that you let it sit a bit to let the honeycomb topping melt into the drink for a better taste. Hojicha latte and the boba drink were not good. The latte lacked flavor and tasted watered down. The lychee green tea was too sweet and the boba texture was too soft. It seems everyone was ordering the icy desserts. I would come back for the honeycomb latte for sure & try their desserts. read more

A while ago I found this place and added it to my "Want to Go" collection. I can't recall anything about how I found this place or who I may have heard of this place from, but wow their drinks are good! I ordered the honeycomb latte. It's a really unique flavor as I don't think I've found many honey flavored drinks with coffee. Also the lady who worked her is super nice and friendly. Cute little gem, I miss places like this! Great place for dessert/tea and not your typical dessert/boba place. We literally had to try two kakigori's since it was so delish! Refreshing and unique flavors. I wish the mochi pieces were bigger, but I like how they were spread out in the shaved ice. Went there on a Sunday night and it wasn't as busy. Kamurocho is located in a super unassuming complex but is a great local coffee stop! The interior is minimal with a few spots to sit at- both times that I've been there have been students studying inside. On both my trips, I got the Kamo latte to give me the strength (and caffeine!) to power through my day. The kamo latte is a matcha latte with a shot of espresso poured on top. The combination somehow works and it's incredibly delicious! I was particularly impressed to see the owner using ceremonial grade matcha and whisking the matcha for each drink. I also took a sip of my friends honeycomb latte- it was strong, sweet and refreshing on such a warm day. I look forward to coming back more often to support this small business and try all their yummy drinks! read more

This small coffee shop is easy to miss but worth the stop. Located in a quiet strip mall near a Burger King, the cafe is modestly decorated and run by one very hard-working lady. I've seen a couple reviews bemoaning the lack of aesthetically-pleasing interior. While the inside is small and simple, the drinks are great, so I'm not sure why this would matter. Beyond the laminated menu at the counter, there are also seasonal specials listed on a small board as well as a couple items not on the menu. My favorite of these "off-menu" items is the Einspanner, a cold (or hot) brew topped with heavy whipped cream and cocoa powder. This was the first drink I tried at Kamurocho, and I was impressed by both the smooth cold brew and the quality of the bittersweet cocoa generously sprinkled on top. Other highlights have been the honeycomb latte (which is made with housemade honeycomb toffee) and the roasted matcha rice latte (which combines matcha with toasty genmaicha). The espresso comes through in coffee drinks, and they're never too sweet. I have a habit of always asking for my drinks half sweet, but here, I'm always gently reminded that the drinks aren't very sweet to start with. The lady who works at (and possibly runs) Kamurocho is a one-woman show, so sometimes it takes a couple minutes to place an order and get your drink, but it's always worth it. Every time I've visited, she's been sweet and attentive. Overall, just a great local spot and one that I'll keep visiting. read more

Just as Ululani quoted in its tagline, "all shave ice is not created equal", not all Ululani shave ice locations are equally good. Maybe it's just a one-off, but I feel like the shave ice I got here didn't taste as good as the one in Maui. Some parts of the ice texture were also coarser than I remembered. I still like it, but maybe I'll stick to my Local Motion mix next time.

I had the Maui sunrise for $10 and it was very large and fluffy with red bobba in the middle, not packed down like the Shaved ice in Hawaii. It was delicious and well worth the trip down there. But the parking was a little difficult as the farmers market was very busy. Aloha Aria's is also available at the farmers market on Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM at city Center at Bishop Ranch.

I stop here typically before every flight so I can have a delicious snack to eat in the air. I got the beef kimbaps. My mom and I also ordered the rice punch. I ordered the Lucky Charms White Mocha. It was tasty, but definitely a drink I wouldn't be able to order on the regular. I was able to set up my computer and one of the side rooms and get some work done. This place seems to be a very popular place for studying and doing some work. Just a great place in a great area. They have a large lot and there's also plenty of street parking in the area, especially during the day.

I thought it was mango popping boba when i first ordered it but it has the same texture as regular boba, but mango flavored. I loved it so much. My second drink is the strawberry version. Mr sun special with strawberry boba. Equally as good! Fantastic if you love strawberry! Im definitely coming back for the same drinks! They recommend mixing your drink before trying it!

I tried a few drinks here and had a mixed experience. The Matcha Roasted Rice Latte was quite good -- the roasted rice fragrance came through nicely and added a unique touch to the drink. However, the Regular Matcha Latte was disappointing. It tasted mostly of milk with very little matcha flavor. The matcha wasn't strong or distinct. I also had the Honeycomb Latte, which was just okay. The best part was the crunchy honeycomb bits -- they added a nice texture -- but the coffee itself didn't stand out. One thing worth mentioning: the barista station didn't look particularly clean, which gave a bit of a poor impression. Cleanliness and presentation matter, especially in a coffee shop setting. Overall, a hit-or-miss experience. Some drinks have potential, but there's definitely room for improvement -- especially in drink consistency and hygiene. read more
