Probably the best Thai food I've ever had. And it's just across the street from my office. There IS a God! The Khao Soi curry noodle soup is outstanding. Be careful though; the soup is really hot, and the spice creeps up on you. Veggie egg rolls are great too. I would have posted a photo, but I ate it too fast! I decided to write an update because just had a curry duck today. The sauce was great and that's the only good thing I can say about this overpriced meal. The amount of the duck in the sauce would fit on a teaspoon. I am not kidding. A few brown and very small stripes and some duck skin - not edible. Also in the sauce: a few large chunks of tomato with the skin peeling off. Maybe three chunks of pineapple. That's it. Accompanied by a wet, sticky and tasteless portion of white rice for additional charge. It was really outrageous. They shouldn't call this meal curry duck. I'd name this: curry with random leftovers. read more

Wow. So disappointed. The staff was very friendly, but this is the most flavorless, underseasoned Thai food we've ever had. Panang curry was light pink and flavorless, beef thin sliced and dry. Chicken satay zero salt or flavor. Beef pad ciu basically just flavorless noodles. We're used to much more flavorful thai, much more tender beef, much better seasoning. Extremely let down. Highly recommend! First time trying last night, we ordered shrimp pad thai (DELICIOUS), fried rice (good portion) and green curry chicken. I ordered it medium but it was too spicy so they quickly made it mild and it tasted PERFECT! The curry didn't taste diluted like it normally does when other places add coconut milk. read more

If you want great, authentic Thai food then this is the place to go. Everything is delicious. I was amazed at how light and crispy the fried fish was. The mango sauce (ask for it since it is not on the menu yet) has a complex range of flavors that compliment the sole. The yellow curry was perfect. I will be back!!! read more

Having been to Thailand several times and loving authentic Thai food, I was stunned to find arguably the best Thai food in LA (okay, Jitlada kills it as well) right here in Studio City. Incredibly fresh ingredients, amazing depth of flavor... this little spot has overachieved every time I've visited. The price is right and if you are craving great Thai flavors, this will become your go-to fix. I've visited every Thai restaurant on Sherman Way multiple times, and while I've found some great individual dishes, overall the offerings tend to be too greasy and salty. And Jitlada is too bloody far away and too pricey compared to this. Khao Soi is the real deal. You can order dishes as spicy (or not) as you wish, and flavor is never sacrificed. Bravo! Ordered the crab curry khao soi noodle soup and I must say I was pretty impressed, very generous portion of crab meat. The soup was very flavorful and I love the spiciness level, it was perfect. Also, I love the fact that they use organic ingredients. The chicken larb was spiced to perfection and you can taste the integrity of the chicken. Definitely gets my vote! read more

Food was really good, both me and my father got the sweet and sour soup, he got chicken and I got the shrimp. My mother got the chicken wings as well as a combination pad Thai. Delicious! So glad I saw this spot from the Lululemon parking lot. Tried it out for dinner tonight and I am so glad that I did! First off the delivery was quick and super polite. I discovered the dish called khao soi about 5 years ago and have since been on the lookout for it when I eat at Thai restaurants. Most places haven't caught on yet, but I have tried it at a few places. Koont Thai in San Diego and the marketplace in Santa Ana have been my favorites. I recently tried the khao soi at khao soi and I loved it. You can tell they try to keep the recipe authentic and it is very tasty...I loved it. I will definitely go back for more. The owner is very friendly and they put a lot of soul into the restaurant. Great job guys! read more

Came here a couple nights ago with a friend. We had a wonderful experience. The manager (maybe owner?) was very kind and accommodating. We wanted to sit outside and they were quick to get us a table and a heater right by the table. It was pretty cozy, especially with the Christmas lights ambiance they had going. The food was sooooooo good. I love Thai food and have tried many places, this place was definitely among the better places I've tried in LA. We had the special, the Khao Soi, we figured we'd try it since they names the restaurant after it. Definitely didn't regret it, it was very delicious. Went there to check out this new thai place in the area and was so impressed. The staff were so welcoming and friendly - they seriously couldn't have done enough for us. They have a really cute patio area, which is very nicely lit. Great for a date night. Great service is one thing, but thankfully the food matched. I had a lovely piece of duck and my girlfriend had the Khao Soi - it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back here and would recommend others go if you want great Thai food and service to match. I wish they were open on Sundays as I was going to get takeout from them last weekend but I'll bear that in mind in future. Check them out! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I could eat Thai food every day for the rest of my life, so I always love finding new Thai spots. I'm also going to be visiting Northern Thailand, where khao soi is widely served, so I've become a bit obsessed with the dish. It's been surprisingly difficult to find in Los Angeles! I've been here a few times. Really good Thai food. Their dishes are Always so fresh tasting. Their entree chicken skewers are amazingly delicious and so tender and juicy. Highly recommend to start off with that. The chicken curry and tom yum soup is to die for. Aside from great food, their staff is really nice.
