I hyped this spot up for myself so much. The aesthetic is nice, can't deny that. There was alot of thought and care into designing this place. The patio in front is very welcoming and appears to be a cool place to hang out. It has upscale, cool vibes. Service was ok. Kinda just there, not too welcoming or enthusiastic. Food fell short for me. Came in for a quick lunch on a weekday. I don't get to this side of town much so I'm selective when I am in the area on places to eat. We ordered from the lunch menu and chose the fried wings with sticky rice and also pad kee mao. The pad kee mao was quite on the salty side and did not have much noodles to the serving. There was plenty of protein (chicken) surprisingly and veggies. The fried wings were pretty good and presented nicely on a platter with cucumber spears and lettuce. The sticky rice that came with it, however was on the dry side. We also ordered appetizers from the lunch menu: a chicken curry puff and crab rangoons. Nothing special to either one but it was fine. They offer salad rolls with choice of just veggies, tofu, shrimp, or smoked salmon. Looks to be the equivalent of two spring rolls cut in half, for $13 is crazy. You could also opt for the fancier fusion dishes that include ribeye steaks, duck breast, and beef rib for a premium price. Glad I visited it but just not for me. read more

We liked it. We stopped here on a Sunday evening after a concert nearby. We had reservations and were seated right away. The place was fairly busy with a few open tables. The restrooms are upstairs there are steps and there is an elevator plus more seating upstairs. It was pretty noisy downstairs and a bit quieter upstairs. Menus were placed as we were seated. Our server came by quickly. We asked for waters, a Hot Tea and an order of Salad Rolls with Shrimp. Before our Salad Rolls came, we placed outer dinner order. The two of us shared the following: - Hot Tea - Salad Roll with Shrimp - Pad Thai - Pad See Ew We both enjoyed our meals. I would have liked a bit more noodle in my Pad See Ew. Amazing drinks, food, and service! I only got a pic of my drink because we dove into the food immediately. Pictured is the Bluebonnet Spritz, very refreshing. My husband loved his spicy margarita. He said it was actually spicy, unlike others he has had at previous restaurants. We also enjoyed the gyoza, salad rolls with salmon, the steak, and a side of noodles. Ko is a very cool upscale venue. I would love to see the store at night. We began with a bottle of the Le Monde Pinot Grigio and the dumplings. Pinot Grigio is almost always a safe bet when one finds him or herself amongst unknown vinos on a menu, LOL. (Pro tip: Never guess at a red!). The dumpling here is quite tasty; pork, shrimp, and vegetables including onion, served with a sweet soy sauce. The attractive dish is topped with fried saffron threads. The portion of savory filling is quite generous This was my Pad Thai maiden voyage so I have nothing to compare it with. It was a reasonably sized portion compared to the humongous servings at many Asian restaurants. It included five large perfectly cooked shrimp. I found it a little too sweet for my tastes, but as I say, I don't know how this dish authentically tastes. My wife went with the orange chicken. As you can see it's a beautiful dish. This place is such a great find. The ambiance is well done. High end feel with the right specks of flair. The glassware and cutlery were wonderfully chosen and the chairs were comfy. The food!! So very very tasty. The smoked salmon was perfect and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. The rice soup was a nice surprise as apparently it comes complementary with the lunch special. The infrastructure of this place was very nice, was excited to try it. I always try to order a staple when trying a place for the first time so ordered a pad Thai and lychee lover drink. My drink was very good but was served halfway through the coupe, though the coupe was on the larger side it felt odd like someone had drank half of it.. Beautiful cozy restaurant with excellent service. Prices are standard although the vibe would make you think you were about to pay for it! Really near upstairs that you take via elevator. We had their Garlic Chicken Thai Rice, Yellow Curry with Tofu, and Tom Yum Soup. Everything was absolutely delicious except the Tom Yum Soup. Not the best I've ever had and only had a single lemongrass. Luckily my daughter liked the soup so not removing a star, but i was not a fan. The rest of the meal was great. Service was excellent. We needed to find something to eat during our drive through Ft. Worth. We decided to stop by Ko Thai for lunch The pad see ew was ok. The flavor was fine, but I've never been a big fan of crinkle cut carrots. The portion was good. As pretty as the Yazo Thon dish is, I do not recommend ordering this. For a $25 dish that's featured on their menu, I would expect a perfectly cooked, sliced duck breast. The presentation could use a touch of green color (like fresh mint or basil). The duck is extremely dry. I don't think they cooked it fresh for me. It seemed like it was reheated because the meat wasn't moist, there was zero crispiness to the skin, and the fat layer was rubbery. I gave my feedback to the waitress about the dry duck, but they didn't offer to fix it or do anything else. The service was good. One of the waiters made prik nam pla when I requested it and was friendly. The interior is elegant, and it's not loud, so you can enjoy your meal in peace. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by every single dish we ordered! We got the gyoza, crispy duck (from the special menu, might be seasonal?), a bowl of tom yum soup, and pad thai. Each dish was so good that I was genuinely excited to try the next one. The gyoza was unique with a subtle hint of mozzarella, which added a fun twist without being overpowering. The sauce was great, flavorful but not too heavy or greasy. We ordered the crispy duck instead of the Yazo Thon after seeing some reviews mention dryness, but ours was not dry at all. Even though I'm usually not a fan of coconut, it worked beautifully in the curry. The springy egg noodles were also fun to eat and paired perfectly with the duck. The pad thai was honestly one of the best I've had. I loved that they mixed thinner and slightly thicker noodles! The texture was perfect and the noodles were cooked just right. The decor was very nice and interesting. The staff was friendly and took our orders quickly. The curry puffs were good but a bit small. All three main dishes were delicious with the Pla Makaam having the perfect crisp to the snapper and didn't taste fishy! The restaurant gives an elegant vibe with dining available downstairs, upstairs (elevator available), and on the patio. The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing. I think our server was a little new, but he did a good job. I really enjoyed my go-to Pad Thai for the most part. I was trying something different and ordered the tofu version. I'm so picky about my tofu and it was a little overdone for how I like it, but the rest of the dish was delicious. I just want to start by saying that this restaurant overall is beautiful. But literally after that everything else is thumbs down . Service was a 0 we arrived when it was slow literally just my family of 5 and another family maybe about 3 of them in the WHOLE place . We stood at the front for a few mins before even being greeted or sat down which was strange because once agin NO ONE WAS THERE. So what's so confusing about seating in an EMPTY RESTAURANT. Oh I forgot to mention it's triple digits outside and they didn't have the AC on just one big fan sitting by the door. So we're sweating, took another 10 mins to get water etc. finally we order in this empty restaurant assuming that we wouldn't have to wait as long smh Bs they took so long , never came back to ask us if we needed anything additional, ordered a drink they talked and laughed at the bar and I tried to get the lady attention but she pretended to not see me in this empty restaurant so I had to go up to the bar and ask for assistance. After asking them KINDLY " hi could we possibly get serviced better " there's literally no one' here I'm not understanding the issue. They finally decided to start coming to our table and making sure we had everything we needed but at that point I was kind of just over it and ready to go . The place is beautiful with large Thai statues flanking both sides of the restaurant. The food is presented on beautiful looking earthenware. I enjoyed the Pad see ew. Loved the flavors just would've loved the carrots slivered instead of French fry cut. Don't get me wrong it makes the dish beautiful but a little tough to eat along side the tender noodles. "Thai Me a River" - A Love Letter Dipped in Peanut sauce First, the cream cheese puffs. They're not just cute. They're offensively adorable. No regrets. Then came the salad rolls--the fresh, veggie-packed diplomats of the meal. They're like the friend who drinks herbal tea and remembers your birthday. Crisp lettuce, perfectly cooked shrimp with fresh herbs. The pad see ew? Oh, honey. Thick rice noodles, perfectly chewy. Broccoli that somehow managed to be both crispy and perfectly cooked. I would order this again and again. Now, let's talk wine. The selection here included wine from William Chris and the Mendoza region...sold! Atmosphere? Cozy, elegant, with lighting that made me feel like the main character. Service?
