So tonight is the 6th or 7th time we've eaten at KPOP since they've been open and tonight felt compelled to leave a review. Growing up I was always taught working for my parents, those people called customers walking through the door is what keeps us in business. So let's welcome them. There hasn't been one time we've walked in whether packed or empty like tonight and have been greeted, smiled at or so much as acknowledged. The lady who's always there walks by us numerous times and says not a word. Everyone of their employees is the same, clearly not being taught any different. It's almost to the awkward point, where I have to say "hi can I order now please". That's wrong. No thank you, have a nice day, night .... Appreciate your business, nothing when we got our meal (to-go). That's sad. Tonight we had Philly Cheesesteak combo w seasoned fries ($16) and my husband paid an additional $5 for an order of onion rings. The onion rings were a complete disappointment. There were very little and what was there was hard and burnt. No flavor besides burnt. Philly Cheesesteak was delicious (bread a little dry/hard). I don't mind supporting a local business but when not appreciated, there's lots of other local business around that make sure their customer service is top notch and can at least greet their customers when they walk in. Massively delicious burgers for the same price or less when you go to a Five Guys?!?!? I'm sold!. I couldn't even finish their regular burger. I would never think to get that massive burger that they have as a challenge for the hungry. I stopped by to give this place a try and was surprised at how many different types of burgers they had. I had a hard time choosing but ended up with the kimchi burger, it was a damn good burger! I also ordered some wings; lemon pepper & Asian hot flavor. First off i wanna say i love wingstops lemon pepper in my opinion i thought they were the best until i had the ones here!! It's a decent burger. Not the best, but definitely not the worst one I've had! My reason for the 3 stars is the following: 1) The Price. My plain cheeseburger was $8.00. And then if you want to make it a meal (pre frozen French fries and a fountain soda) it costs $4.50 extra. I thought that was priced a little high. And then the kids meals are $5.99, which is slightly above average in my opinion. 2) 3 of the TVs inside were playing pop music videos. No big deal right? Except for the fact that these videos had a LOT of crap I didn't want to watch with my 8, 3, and 1 year old (sex, people beating the living day lights outta someone, domestic violence, etc). I know the name of the restaurant is K "Pop" but I guess I just didn't put two and two together until we already sat down lol. Overall, I think there are other better burgers in the metroplex. They are very close to my house, so I'm able to order delivery from here using the Eat24 website and app. (Which is uncommon for this area - most delivery is chains like Pizzahut or a couple of chinese takeout places you have to call.) This is a huge plus for me as sometimes it's easier to order delivery than wrangle a small one to take out. I'd like to note part of why I love places that offer delivery and online ordering is that I am disabled so it really is a benefit to parts of the community most may not consider. I would give this place 5 stars if the prices were a little cheaper. I'm an "efficient" eater so the orders for myself last more than one meal but everyone else gobbles it up because it's so good. However it still costs a bit more than other places in the area with similar offerings, and that's without the delivery fee and tip. I will not deny how delicious it is though. My go to is the Miss A burger combo with fries as I LOVE kalbi beef and it makes for a delicious burger! (They don't skimp on the meat portions either, and that's without paying for "extra" meat with the delivery options.) I also order wings in Korean BBQ flavor. Never been much of a wings person but in Korean BBQ? Absolutely delicious. You don't need Ranch or any other dipping sauces with it, it's so good by itself! And they do well for kids meals - burger options, chicken nuggets, corn dogs. Again, portions are quite adequate for a child's meal in the delivery. K-Pop burger has a tasty burger and fries, I also like their cheese-steak, however, the price is unreasonable for families. If I am eating lunch alone, it is fine. Also the wait can be annoying as well. I spent over $7 on a large cheese fry. I can't remember the exact amount of change, but I almost fell out when the person told me the amount. I thought my fries might have real gold flakes in them or something. lol Also beware if you order the kids meal, it's still almost $7 I think. The food is good, but nor for the price. Update....the spicy wings are "asian fire" that leave my mouth burning like no other, but so deng good! We have gone back since and still enjoy it! It's still the only burger my kids like. Took them to in-n-out and they were not impressed. Also tried hollywood burger, sorry not a fan of their burgers. I'll be putting up my review of them later... Now don't let me full you on this one with the three star the food is tasty. My three star status had to do more for the price than the food. In my opinion the food was not worth the price we paid. I had some type of chopped meat burger. The meat was good it had grilled onions in it and mushrooms but little did I know that to get fires and pickle it was additional 4.99 on top of the 8.99 for the burger. My husbands burger was huge! He said his was good, but just as me was not worth all the money. Now, maybe it was just we are penny pinching but if I am going to pay that kind of money I would prefer that it be at a really nice restaurant. There are too many places to get a good burger for a way cheaper price. I hope this is helpful! But, I do want to say, I think you should do as I did and at least try it KPOP. Make your own decision. Tried this place on a whim. The portions were huge and, for size alone, worth the $32 we paid for lunch but the burgers themselves were only so-so. Hubby had the #14 (the closest thing to a regular cheeseburger). He liked it but said it could use more seasoning. I has the #2, some sort of beef sandwich. It was good but also needed more flavor and there were bits of tough, gristley meat that were off putting. First, if you are a burger lover you need to try this place for yourself and you be the judge. If you're looking for an exceptional burger, you might be a bit disappointed. It was good, and there are several interesting options, but for me it fell short of my expectations. Being from California, I have eaten at this type of gourmet burger joint countless places. I have no problem paying good money for good food, but I do struggle paying good money for just a fair meal. Our go to takeout place. Ordering on grub hub is so easy and perfect for lazy nights in. Food is always fantastic burgers are huge big enough to split (2AM is what burger dreams are made of) and the wings are also a fav of ours! The garlic parm wings are so good along with the hot wings. I have read some of the other reviews and I am wondering if some people are living on an alternate reality. The burgers here are great! We have been eating there for a few years now. The burgers are huge! Are they pricey? Yes, yes they are. But for what you get the price is appropriate. Believe me if you go somewhere that serve a comparable amount and quality the price is just right. If you want to pay McDonald's prices there's one just a block away but you're going to get what you pay for. If you don't want quite so much food or pay so much, order a burger off the child's menu. It's still a large burger. The only thing I wouldn't recommend are the fried jalapenos. There is to much batter and I have had much better at other places. I have eaten burgers all around the country. To say one place has the best burgers is difficult to say. I find that the best burgers have something unique about them that makes them so good. So I'm not going to say KPop has the world's best burgers, but I will say they are easily in the top 5. So why did I only give them 4 instead of 5 stars? Because of all the unique burgers they have, they don't have one burger with mustard. This is Texas! You need a burger with mustard. However you can ask for mustard. So I'm really giving 4.5 stars. Went there the other was my first time going. Menu was pretty big and all the burgers looked good some pricey. I like big burgers if you can hold them with your hands. The burger I ordered was the Big Bang it was good except in was to big to hold and it wouldn't fit in your mouth. I had to eat one of the patties before I even could fit it in my mouth. Ahh, KPOP and burgers, a great combination. They were playing some KPOP music videos on the TVs that they had around the restaurant, but they were mainly playing English pop songs on the radio for what I heard. Anyway, the burgers here were MASSIVE. The prices for all of them do seem high, but I guarantee that it is worth the price. The burgers were ready in about 10 minutes, so not too bad of a wait. I got myself the Miss A and it was pretty juicy. 8.5/10 in my books. Got myself the fried mushrooms as a side as well; pretty pricy for me, and super watery as they literally just took giant mushrooms and fried them. Not a big fan of them. Fast forward to about a year and food quality and love have left the building. They say they deliver but then tell you to call uber eats.
