Went there for a low key birthday celebration. Ambience was good, decorations, murals, large screen televisions showing futbol. All good. Food was quite good. Great example of north west coast Mexican/American fusion. Cocktails were good and better. The killer here is that they offer a shot service (apologies if you love this) where they drown you in music at volume 11 whether or not you like it. There is literally nowhere you can sit and not be inundated by it. I get the Cabo vibe, but if I knew they did this beforehand, I would not have gone. I really wanted to love La Más Querida, but my experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. During our visit, we found a nail in one of our drinks. When we brought it to the manager's attention, she initially denied that it could not have come from the restaurant and confirmed the staff cannot have long nails. Later, after checking with staff, she came back and apologized, admitting that it was from one of her employees. While I appreciate the eventual acknowledgment, the initial dismissal was frustrating given the seriousness of the situation. Between the foreign object in the drink and the initial lack of accountability this was not the level of care or quality we expected. I hope the restaurant takes food safety and customer concerns more seriously moving forward. read more

The complimentary chips, beans, and salsa were really good. The drinks were really nice looking, but could've been stronger lol. That's just a preference though. I probably wouldn't get sushi next time-- too much rice and the meat was super tiny inside. The mango habanero agua chile was FIRE though. That's why this got 4 stars because it was so good ! Checked out the plaza on story and found this restaurant. The waitress was really kind and friendly! Was greeted and seated right away. Ordered some birria tacos, sushi and shrimp cocktail. Birria tacos were full of meat worth the $20 for 3 however the salsa on the side tasted like oil, no real flavor. The sushi was different but personally we weren't fans of the chicken inside of it. The roll itself was really creamy less sushi flavor. The cocktails sauce was really thick looked more like tomato sauce than a cocktail sauce. Overall the restaurant is really cute and perfect for social gatherings. I would like to try something different next time. read more

This is probably not the right place for adults to go out for dinner--especially for older guests. The restaurant doesn't seem to care about the volume of the music. It was extremely loud, to the point where we couldn't even have a normal conversation. Maybe that's part of the restaurant's "vibe," but it really didn't work for us. We took my husband's parents there after seeing a reel that made it look like a fun spot with good food and colorful drinks, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The food itself wasn't terrible, but considering the price we expected much more. The worst part by far was the noise level--we even asked our server a couple of times if they could turn it down so we could talk, but nothing changed (if anything, it got louder). The crowd also seemed quite young--lots of teenagers--so maybe this place is more suited to that age group. This was just our experience, but we'll probably not be coming back. read more

This Mexican Restaurant has great food and drinks. We order several different dishes they were all great. One was my favorite, the mango habanero shrimps. They were super good the sauce was delicious I had to get another plate just for me. The drinks are really good, I got the mojito maracuyá and is the best in town! Moreover, Clarisa the waitress was fast, good service skills, great attitude and a nice smile. This place has a great vibe all together. We had lots of fun. Saw an instagram post and decided to try this place. Sunday morning 11am we made a reservation just in case. Arrived and our table was ready. Anny our waitress was amazing! She was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food I had red chiliquines and my friends had green, both so good. The cafe de olla was tasty . There's music not too loud , but upbeat. Our server, Samuel, was amazing. Even though the place was packed, he never missed a beat--constantly checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed, from napkins and extra plates to refills on drinks. The place was beautiful upon walking in, the decorations were very nice. Once seated our server came gave us our menus and walked away. About 4 mins later she came asking us if we were ready for drinks or food. It was 5 of us so we were still discussing the ambience of the restaurant. So she said she would come back. She came back a few moments later kinda pushy. 2 of us ordered drinks, 2 order soda and one only wanted water. She questioned the person who ordered water. We ordered buy honestly the menu for the food wasn't that big, so that was disappointing. The food was ok. The coconut shrimp wasn't that great, I'd say there rice was delicious. The California roll was ok, I didn't like the cream cheese. I think the best part was the characters that came out on the surrounding tables that ordered drinks. read more
