La Pizza Rina, oh sooo guuud! Much Mahalo. 1st time for my brother to eat lunch w/ us. He also ordered the awesome delish antipasto salad.. oohhh YUMMERS (sorry no pics) the 3 of us managed to finish the pie. Crust, was "Kris-pay"... flavorful, baked perfect! Best part... WE FOUND PARKING, in the back of the building

Heading back to town from Kaneohe, I was getting hungry. I just wanted something simple and easy, with easy parking because that can be such a drag. Let me go to one of my favorites! There were three families inside when I walked in. I grabbed a table by the kitchen. Prices sure have increased since I first came here. But I was craving spaghetti and meatballs. There's no beer or wine, which is fine. Last time I was here was back in 2022 for the same thing. MMmmmm garlic bread! And then the feast! So good! Just like I remembered! The family who runs Rina is very nice! Definitely worth coming to for a no frills, non-pretentious meal! Mahalo Rina!

Small spinach, mushrooms and olives with extra cheese... yum!

Love this little pizza place in town. Their pizzas are delicious and pizza crust tasted fresh. Didn't get a chance to try their pesto spaghetti , but will definitely try it on our next visit!

I was looking forward to curry next door but failed to notice they're closed on Tuesdays so I had to pivot for La Pizza Rina. The lovely family that runs this place is kind, down to earth and quick to service. They may have been rushing me that afternoon since I noticed they closed at 2 or 3pm to prep for dinner. Salad and pizza came out ok. Both were edible and pizza was a bit undercooked but still doable. I ate as fast as I could to be respectful of time. The place is dainty and dark. Great place to cool down from the heat. After walking almost 2 miles from Ala Moana I probably should've stayed there to get something to eat. Lesson learned. However, if you're in a pinch this place will nudge the spot and give you energy for the rest of the day.

Ordered: Baked spaghetti with meat sauce Spinach tortellini Garlic bread included with pasta Homemade bread, from Daily bread, also located on S. King Street. Sandwiches also made with homemade bread. Pizza is also on the menu. Prices are still reasonable. Family business.

    Pastrami submarine sandwich

Got the la pizza rina combo pizza, pastrami submarine sandwich, and garlic cheesy bread. The pizza definitely tastes fresh and savory. It's different from fast food pizzas like pizza hut and papa John's as it has less of an oily and greasy feeling after eating it. The toppings of the pizza definitely stand out as u eat it and the bread and crust is a perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The pastrami sub is definitely worth a try. The vinegar sauce with the mayo adds immense flavor to the sandwich. The bread is nice and crispy and the inside of the sandwich is perfectly salted and balances well with the lettuce and tomato. I will say though that I was disappointed with their garlic bread. Did not taste the garlic. It literally tasted like average melted cheese on a whole lot of bread. Probs wont be getting that again but the other two I'll definitely be going back for seconds! Parking is in a lot in the back of the building with a 1 way in from king street and an exit on keamoku street. There's about 6-8 tables inside with a fridge of drinks that u can buy. I had my first Henry Weinhard's root beer and vanilla root beer at this place and have grown a liking to it ever since. It goes good with the pizza too ;) Service was soo friendly and thoughtful. We came a little later than the final seating time but they still allowed us to order takeout. And the food tasted up to it's amazing standard

    Super Sub+ pizza

I've been to La Pizza Rina multiple times now, and it's easily one of my go-to spots in Hawaii. Every visit has been solid, but on my most recent trip, I got the La Pizza Rina Super Sub Sandwich and also made a pizza! The super sub is so authentic...flavorful, super fresh, and honestly one of the best subs I've had. The price is more than fair for how much you get. Id say go for the sub (or better yet, do both and split!) Friendly staff, fast service, and a chill, atmosphere. Can't recommend this place enough.

We were looking for dinner after the movies and decided on La Pizza Rina. We have been going here for a while and always love the service and food. When we got there is was super crowded, there were only 2 open tables. There is only one server and although she was busy, she greeted us with water and utensils. We ordered baked spaghetti and antipasto salad. The salad and garlic bread came out fast and was super fresh and delicious. Absolutely love the cheese and ham rolls sliced in the salad!! Our spaghettis came out steaming hot and cheesy - delicious! The restaurant is small and homey feeling and although it was crowded it was not as loud as I expected. There is lots of free parking in the lot behind the restaurant and it is well lit. By the time we left we were the last ones and everyone waved to us, including the kitchen staff. Would definitely go again!

Nothing like eating huge sandwiches and the best pizza around! Our office orders takeout frequently from little g's and we absolutely love it here! We usually have place our order a few days in advance to secure our order for the day we want. They do run out fast so it is safer to place the order in advance too. You can order online but after a certain amount it requires you to phone in your order. I didn't grab a picture of everyone's food but this was the two sandwiches I got! The chicken parm is incredible stacked with 3-4 pieces of chicken parm and their red sauce with mozzarella served hot. The Italian has three different meat with cheese and lettuce and bell peppers served cold. These were served with a different grained bread which was a lil different than what we are used to but still really great! Service here is always great and food is always mind blowing with their large portions and fresh ingredients!

After looking over the menu options, we stood waiting for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us or took our order. The manager seemed rude and unwelcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit. Looking back we should have trusted our first impression, but we decided to give it a chance and see what the hype was about. We each ordered a slice of pizza and took it outside to eat. After eating , we walked past the glass wall of the cafe and I noticed the manager handling and mixing flour with his bare hands, with the flour mixture covering his hands and forearms. I didn't expect to see food prep without disposable gloves and it made me uncomfortable. The pizza itself didn't make up for the experience. At around $22 per slice, I was expecting something exceptional or life-changing, instead, it was pretty underwhelming. The flavor, texture, and overall quality just didn't justify the premium price. Between the unfriendly service, concerns about food handling, and the disappointing pizza, I don't feel the experience was worth the cost of overpriced slices of pizza and I will not be returning nor will I recommend Little G Cafe to others. There are plenty of other pizza spots in Honolulu, including Boston's Pizza, that offer better value and a much more welcoming atmosphere.

We were warmly greeted by staff, and the ambiance of the place was sophisticated but not over the top. You can choose if you like to order ala carte or AYCE. We chose the AYCE (Gourmet Pizza Experience), which gave us an option to try any of their 20+ savory pizzas and 5 sweet pizzas. The pizza was a thin crust topped with luscious mozzarella, rough-chopped garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese. The gnocchi contained chicken chunks, potato gnocchi, luscious cream sauce, and the mushrooms I added. The Florentine immediately caught my eye. I'm particular about not eating sausage, pepperoni, and other typical pizza meats, so this cheese-and-spinach combination was exactly what I was looking for. I expected something around a medium-sized pizza, but what arrived was this unexpectedly large pie sitting inside a huge, flat pizza box. It seemed enormous! The crust was thin with a nicely fire-charred edge, while the center was packed with luscious cheesy goodness. Random dollops of ricotta, spinach leaves, and these entirely unexpected little chunks of fresh, soft, juicy garlic created little flavor explosions throughout every bite. It made eating the pizza fun because each slice was a little different. Although I thought I was hungry enough to eat a lion, I naturally stopped after only a couple of slices. That turned out to be a bonus because I had delicious leftovers for lunches and dinners over the next couple of days. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a different experience altogether. Tender potato gnocchi were coated in a thick, luscious cream sauce with chunks of chicken scattered throughout. The mushrooms I added were thinly sliced and blended in perfectly with the gnocchi, chicken, and creamy sauce. My only criticism is that the dish was saltier than I would have preferred. I think using about half as much salt would have allowed the flavors of the gnocchi and sauce to shine through even more. Aside from that, every bite was pleasantly chewy, rich, creamy, and satisfying. The sauce was everywhere--and that is definitely a good thing. Yum! These two dishes complemented each other perfectly because they offered completely different flavors and textures. The rich, cheesy Florentine pizza paired wonderfully with the creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola. If I eat here again, I'll probably order these exact same dishes. If you enjoy Italian food as much as I do, I suspect you'll enjoy Aroma Italia's menu.

LOVED THE CANNIBALE PIZZA !!!…read more I also ordered the linguine with pink sauce and added meatballs and sausage. It was excellent. I think I would probably order it again but with the marinara sauce. The garlic bread with mozzarella cheese was good but I would order the regular garlic bread since it's less rich and would pair better with the entree. I think the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese would be great as an appetizer though. The ingredients on both the pasta and pizza were very generous. If I were to take friends out for Italian food I would bring them here.
