A totally solid pizza that sits a head above the nearby Mountain Mike's and Round Table chain restaurants. Their crust here is crispy and not at all greasy, and the veggie toppings are always fresh and delicious. As for the help, the young people that work here are always super friendly and accommodating. This is just a great place to grab a pizza if you're ok with spending a little more money than you would at the other local spots. Hello, I've been living here for 8 years and have ordered from a variety of different pizza places, and I believe that this pizza place is the undisputed king of moraga and Lafayette . I have been ordering here for 6 years and they have not messed up an order and has continued to have great customer service and continued to make great quality pizza's. I do not yelp review often but I'm thoroughly impressed by this establishment. This rating comes from the quality of there pizza. But I'm a bit frustrated by the menu change; I'm saying this because, I believe that getting rid of jalapeno popers and chicken wings, is a grave mistake. I have had to take my business and re order chicken wings to a different establishment which is frustrating and annoying and has had me second guessing ordering a pizza in the first place with that being said I hope you fix the issue and find a way to come up with a sufficient fix to that problem. The kids get pizza from Lamorinda at school and rave about it so we gave this place a try. Ordered a large pepperoni and sausage. The pizza was ready when promised and the guys at the counter were great and obviously excited about the product they were handing me. Wow, what a change from the pizza I remember from 8 years ago. The thing was covered in toppings and had a perfect cheese to sauce ration. Actually, what really stood out for me was the sauce. It was slightly sweeter then what I an used to. Very tasty! Love it. I haven't had any issues with ordering, each time it's been pain free, easy and quick. Garlic cheesy bread and wings were good, and the pizza is obviously delicious as well. Our go-to is the Spicy Hawaiian. Hot, but balanced well with the pineapple. Another of our favorites is the Chicken Pesto. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had when it comes to delivery/take-out. There's obviously much better places that are more gourmet, like Pizza Antica, but for our purposes it's perfect. It's become our pizza place of choice when we get a group of people together, as it's much better, more diverse and cheaper than Mountain Mike's. read more

Lamorinda Pizza has rescued us from the gaping pizza hole in Lamorinda. The ingredients are fresh and the crust just right. We used to rely on Orinda's Village Pizza, but we haven't been back since finding Lamorinda Pizza. One catch - you can't eat there, it's purely take-away or home-delivery. If you want to go out and sit down for pizza, I'd suggest Bonfire in Orinda's Theatre Square. read more

This was the old standby back in the college days. They usually have some sort of deal going for the SMC students. All of their pizzas are good, and they are fast. It is take out only as the other reviewer put, but otherwise no real negatives. The only bad part, was back in the dorm rooms, my roommate would constantly get calls from people ordering pizza who forgot to dial 9 out. His number was the first 4 for lamorinda pizzas. read more

Went to this pizza place because we wanted to support local business. Not a very good experience. The menu was under a sticky counter top with the sharpie over the prices. Ordered wings which were on the menu, but were told by the guy at the counter they don't have them anymore. Ordered a salad and he had to check to see if they still made the one we chose. Sat down and the tables were sticky as well. Pizza came and was average in flavor, but weak on the amount of toppings. Had to yell and wave my arms to get the employees attention to get plates for our pizza. Employee also forgot the salad and had to make it after we got our pizza. Would love to support the locals but they're gonna have to try harder. Will not be back, recommend you go somewhere else. read more

We ordered two pies and two family-sized salads to go. The staff was friendly and they even gave me a hearty portion of anchovies on the side for the two of us who like salty little fish on our Cesar salads. The pizza itself was also very good, with just the right amount of toppings to provide the flavors, without it being overloaded. This pizza is definitely a hidden gem in the city of Moraga. I'm huge pizza person and was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place out. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service along with great pizza. However, the only drawback was I did order their zucchini sticks which were not very good at all. so let me start by saying that I'm impressed by your high ratings...as a person that owns a restaurant myself, I have found that often times yelp is just an area to complain and I rarely get on here to write reviews. Because i see your promise, and need in the lamorinda for a good delivery option, I wanted to send a message in hopes that you look as closely at Yelp as I do. The girl on the phone tonight was great and bubbly. Very warm and accomodating. I was happy with my ordering choices and again, just happy to have good delivery here in Orinda. Just one thing that is a really easy fix, you need to make your Ranch dressing in house... I noticed on the menu that you send out a lot of items with ranch dressing and there is such a distinct taste difference between the pre-made bottled ranch and the ones that are soooo simple, and cost affective where you just add the basics to the pachaged seasoning. Please make this change.... i would love to try your fried zuchini or mozzarella but with that bottled ranch it isn't worth it. Workers last night were too stoned to make my pizza nor apologize for screwing up. Ordered my pizza in person, worker said about 15 minutes. 15 minutes later, I asked the guy if the pizza was ready....and he said...oh, about 7 more minutes. After another 25 minutes, I asked if my pizza was ready and he looked around too stoned to comprehend what happened and so he said that someone "stole it." Really??? Someone stole the pizza out of the pizza oven? In this town? I was sitting there the whole time....no one walked past the cash register, took a pizza out of the oven, boxed it up, and walked out. Hallucinate much when you are stoned? No apology. Different guy came over offered to cancel the transaction....obviously so that the boss wouldn't see the refund...and just assume a cancelled transaction was just someone who changed their mind. It's a holiday weekend, the place was not busy....no excuses for being too stoned to function. read more

The one star review is not for the quality of the pizza or how tasty it is . If you judge it solely on those merits, then it would be closer to 3 or 4 stars. The one star if for how long I waited for a simple xl cheese pizza . Called in a phone order at 5:20 pm on the last concert in the park Thursday. Person who took the order told me about 35 minutes . I dropped off my family at the commons and proceeded to drive to LP to pick up the pizza. Got to LP at six and paid for the pizza. Cashier told me a few more minutes. I wound up waiting another 25 minutes before it came out. Pretty frustrated that it took that long. To be fair the person who helped me did apologize and offered me a few complimentary drinks. At that point I was already late for the concert and decided just to leave . The pizza we got was pretty thin and simple and should not have taken that long . I will unfortunately never come back even though the pizza was decent. Plus almost $30 for an xl cheese pizza is not all that reasonable . That leaves round table as the only half decent alternative in our town read more

Worth the drive into Moraga. Our family likes to hang out at Lamorinda Pizza eating their thin crust pies. Kids get cheese, adults get veggie. We haven't tried anything else. Love the thin crust - make sure you ask for it. We sit on the tables inside in the winter and outside in the summer. Sometimes the t.v. is on and they give us the remote. Great selection of beers! Great friendly service. If you order in, salads come on pie plates! We just dig this place. read more

What a great find! The staff working there is always very nice. There isn't a lot of room to sit and eat but most of the time we get it to go anyways. The pizza generally takes them fifteen minutes to make. I would have to say that you can tell that they use fresh ingredients because the food has a lot of flavor unlike the other pizza chains in Moraga. read more

A little disappointed. Ordered a large pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni and mushroom ( they were out of red onion?) . It was OK but I would have hated to see it without the extra cheese because there was barely any cheese on the pizza as it was. Sauce was good. Great pizza! I was in a rush one Saturday night and needed something fast & easy. I was driving around, and spied this quaint pizza joint. I stopped by and ordered some pizzas for me and my kids. They said it would be about 15-20 minutes or so, and that was okay for my schedule. We waited for the pizzas, and they soon came. I took them to go, and drove home. I opened the pizza boxes and inhaled the lovely pizza-y smell. I took out a burning slice, and took a large bite. Instantly, cheese mixed with perfect dough went into my mouth, and I exhaled, in love. It may have had a bit too much sauce, but that's just me. I don't know why, but I judge pizzas by the sauce, because I really don't like tomato sauce. Pesto is way better, in my opinion, but when tomato sauce is evenly measured onto the pizza, it is a dream come true.
