    Tofu Scramble
    Sanskruti D.

I'm someone who is vegetarian (no eggs) and I don't eat onions or mushroom. I loved that they had at least 1 vegan option in their menu and they even accommodated my other needs for the meal. The Tofu Scramble was good, and I like the salad and fries a lot. The service was really good, our server was super kind and helpful. The ambiance and the overall vibe of the place was so refreshing and nice. Very few places have a vegan/vegetarian brunch option and this is one of them

Wonderful experience, I came on Mother's Day around 12:45pm and had to wait about 30 mins to get seated for a party of 6. The restaurant is beautiful with a lot of natural light, perfect ambiance for a brunch. They even had Mother's Day themed napkins which I thought was very nice. I really enjoyed the Lapisara burger though it's so humongous that it's actually a bit challenging to eat haha. The chicken and waffles were also very solid. I thought the Tom Yum burrito was a bit uninteresting. It was just a lot of rice wrapped up in a tortilla, the tom yum sauce it came with was good but it wasn't enough to make the dish amazing for me. Overall, excellent experience, I would highly recommend for a cutesy brunch.

hot ube Latte and iced thai tea

We got the ube latte and iced Thai tea. The ube latte was nutty and delicious. I just wish it had been a tad bit hotter, but I'm sure you can ask for it extra hot. The iced Thai tea was well-balanced and not overwhelmingly sweet. The chicken waffle was also good--especially the chicken itself. It was lightly battered and crisp to perfection. I do wish the waffle was more toasted since it was a bit soggy even with barely any syrup. The fruits were fresh and tasted really yummy. As for the PaNang omelette, it was delicious!! It's filled with meat and vegetables, so it's pretty hearty. The curry was so good and had just the right amount of spice. I would highly recommend the PaNang omelette. Parking was difficult since it's in the Tenderloin, but it was definitely worth it. The workers are nice, and the place is really cute.

my party of 8 came at around 11 on sunday (father's day) and waited a little over 35 minutes to get seated. the eatery's atmosphere is bright, pleasant, and clean. the prices are pretty standard for brunch spots. in terms of food, i really liked my salmon toast. i kinda wish i tried their thai-adjacent dishes, but perhaps, i'll save that for next time.

We ordered a few different dishes to get a feel for the restaurant as a whole. First, the restaurant had ample seating, and we were sat quickly. Seats behind me had enough room for both my party and the party behind us to get out easily. Service was a little slow. Having to ask to refill our coffee should not come up, especially when the restaurant was not super busy. Some of the food was good, some was not what I would have expected. The salted caramel macchiato was cute with the coffee ice bear on top, and tasted good. The Tom Yum burrito was good. It didn't need the sauce but that added even more flavor. I do recommend this. The fried chicken eggs Benedict was mid. I truly expected more from this. The outside part of the chicken had no flavor, and even the hollandaise sauce was slightly disappointing. I'd give it a 3/5. We also ordered the Dungeness crab omelet. It was extremely bland. The crab also was old, it tasted fishy. I would not get that again. As it was the most expensive dish in the menu, it should have popped.

Great little spot, friendly service, yummy food that while not boundary pushing, it certainly extends from the basics, all well executed

Came here because of the high review. This is was brunch menu. Ordered steak and eggs steak was very chewy. I ordered medium rare. Spicy bacon not spicy, more sweet than anything. It tasted like bacon and chamoy Please avoid ordering the chicken and waffles. The chicken had no flavor at all. Dry, not crispy and absolutely horrible... three people ordered it and they all tasted the same. It wasn't a mistake, it was intentional. Anyways won't be back and the service was mediocre.

Super cute cafe that's been in my bookmarks for over a year! Finally, we dined here on a weekday at around noon. Even found a parking spot right outside after circling once around the block. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded and there were a few tables available. I believe weekdays are less crowded. ***OUR PICKS*** CHICKEN WAFFLE ~ Their fried chicken is more crunchy and possibly done with mochiko flour. It has that texture verses fried chicken made with all purpose flour. Chicken was juicy and tender. Waffle was fluffy but not crispy. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable. The berries surrounding the waffle were nice and sweet. Portion is a bit smaller than the other dishes that we ordered. 4/5 FRIED CHICKEN EGGS BENEDICT ~ eggs perfectly oozy and delicious with the sauce! Crunchy chicken was good too! I only wished the potatoes had a crisp exterior. Still a yummy dish! 5/5 PERFECT PANCAKES ~ soft and fluffy pancakes with eggs over medium with chicken maple sausage. I didn't try this, but the person eating this was satisfied with it. 4.5/5 ICED UBE LATTE ~ really cute purple teddy bear ice cube sitting on a cloud of whipped cream and a daisy flower atop of lightly sweetened ube latte. Good till the last drop. Lovely and adorable! The bear stole my heart! 5/5 Wonderful service, delicious food, beautiful presentation, lovely atmosphere! Definitely a winner, in my book!

Delicious! Love that the Thai culture has fully embraced brunch and all these fusion brunch spots are popping up in the Bay Area. Came here for brunch with my girl and Lapisara did not disappoint. My cappuccino was delicious, strong, great foam ratio. Her ube latte was not overly sweet and good flavor. (Of course the cute cups were an added bonus). I ordered the panang beef omelette without the toast and it was so good! Flavorful, tender beef, egg was not over cooked and when you broke into the omelette the delicious curry started pouring out. Salad was fresh and potatoes crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. My fried had the crab omelette which was also very good! Excited to come back and support this place, all their items look so delicious. Inside was very cute and modern, ample seating and very friendly staff.

Came here for brunch due to Yelp good reviews and cute photos. It's a popular place and the place is tiny. However, our timing was perfect as we didn't have to wait for a table though the place is almost full. And I have to say, it didn't disappoint! It wasn't just a cutesy place with cute and Instagram worthy drinks but really flavorful meals, delicious drinks, reasonably priced, with nice and friendly staff. The food came quickly too. Would probably be back next time we're in the area!

    Fried chicken benedict
    Jolene H.

The food here was so good: the fried chicken benedict was nicely portioned, the fry wasn't too oily, and for some reason the salad dressing paired so well. The iced bear in the ube latte was really cute and overall the drink was light and sweet. However the Thai tea was overly sweet. I only tried a small bite of the tom yum burrito -- this was my first trying fish sauce in a burrito and I would definitely try this in the future! It took a while to get seated even though the restaurant didn't seem too full for Saturday brunch. The tables are very comfy and service is attentive though! I wouldn't try parking around here, try to take public transit if you can help it

Breakfast of brunch...this is the place. Great food. Good coffee. And the cocktails my fave is the "it was a good day"! Must eat here.

    Peach & original mimosa
    Athena G.

Cute lil brunch spot in SF! The inside of the restaurant is quaint and cute and a casual vibe. Service was quick and attentive. On this day I was visiting multiple food spots so I didn't order much. I did order a peach mimosa and huevos rancheros to share. Not sure why I ordered the huevos rancheros as it wouldn't be a specialty but still delicious!! I definitely would try a more fusion dish next time. Would come back here!

When we put our names on the waitlist it said it would only be a 10 minute wait but we ended up waiting closer to 30-45. We were lucky we came early, by the time we left wait time was 2+ hours. The menu looks amazing and has plenty of clearly labelled vegan options. When looking at the menu posted on the outside window we planned to order the vegan coconut crepe dessert, but after being seated we discovered the window menu was slightly out of date and they didn't offer that dessert anymore. One odd thing when we sat down- the table was set up with prefilled water glasses, in addition to a full water pitcher. We were both really thrown off for some reason by the glasses already being full, but we did confirm with a waitress that it was intentionally part of the table prep. I ended up ordering the drunken mama with fried oyster mushrooms, which was amazing. Flavors and textures of everything were great and I especially loved the super crispy oyster mushrooms. While I would love to come back to try other menu items I am not sure the food is worth the 3 hours that some people are waiting, it's definitely really good but not THAT good.

Ambiance: Ample seating inside. Lots of larger tables and…read morethey'll also ask if you're okay with sharing table space with strangers, which was fine for us. Noise levels weren't too loud, considering all the tables are packed. There's one bathroom and it's hard to wait without being in the way of the kitchen or the door as it swings open, so that's the only awkward thing. Service: Knowledgeable and friendly. Came by several times because we couldn't decide, but it wasn't a rushed feeling like they were trying to get you in and out (even with the long wait times). They give you a bottle of water for the table, so you don't have to ask. Food: While the food was okay, I don't think it was exceptional nor does it warrant the hours long wait times. Khao Soi - We got the crispy fried chicken version, but maybe a different version would have worked better. Since it was in a soup, the steam and the curry sogged it up and wasn't super crispy by the time we mixed to consume. The egg noodles were a bit soggier than my preference - I like them to be al dente for a nice bite, but it was more to the texture where you can mash it with your tongue to the roof of your mouth and it would squish. I did enjoy the crispy noodle ball that they topped, so you can break up at your leisure and add to the soup and still give the dish texture. 2/5 rating. I don't think I would order this again. Gaeng Kamen Ped (Duck Breast Turmeric Curry) - I am a fan of everything duck. The curry was light, flavorful, and paired very well with the rice. The pieces of duck were not exceptionally fatty, which was nice. There were only 2 pieces of fried okra, while tasty, I wish there were more. 3.5/5 rating. Khao Pad Mun Nuer with Soy Cured Egg Yolk - Probably the best thing we ordered. Since the fried rice is cooked in beef tallow, it's extremely flavorful and almost caramelized crunchy, giving pieces of texture throughout. It's like that mouthfeel of when you cook rice in a cast iron and have that nice crisp on the bottom, except rather than one large sheet, it's a bunch of little ones speckled throughout the rice. The beef was tender and melted in your mouth. Perfect with the creamy egg yolk and bits of fried garlic. The slivered green onions also brightened the dish. Would highly recommend this dish and if I came back, this would be the thing I order every time. 5/5 rating. Burnt Butter Kaya Toast with Coconut Ice Cream - Thick piece of toast with caramelized sugar on both sides, topped with a pandan?? sauce and coconut ice cream. Surprisingly light and refreshing. The flavors are subtle and nothing really smacks you in the face. The crunch of the, essentially, creme brulee on both sides made the dish sweet, but the ice cream and pandan?? dampened the sweetness of the sugar, making it much more palatable. 4/5 rating. Overall, I'm not sure if I would wait more than 20 minutes for a table here, as there are many other Thai places in the city that don't have the long lines where the flavors are more pronounced and, honestly, better. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't know if this place would stand so much on their own without all the influencers bringing business here.

Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. We decided to share a mimosa flight, spring rolls, and ahi scoops. Even though it wasn't brunch, they still allowed us to order a brunch flight, and they were so polite and helpful throughout 4.8/5. The inside is tiny, but quite stunning, clean, and gives a lot of opportunities for insta-worthy pics 4.9/5, I only wish there had been an actual photo wall. Now to the food. The crispy spring rolls were cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. The clear noodles and veggies were so yummy. I asked for soy sauce because that's what I prefer over sweet sauce, but honestly they needed nothing 4.8/5. The ahi scoops had the best seaweed salad on it that I have EVER had, the wasabi cream on top was the show stopper, and I don't even like wasabi 5/5. We shared the flight and was more than tipsy from two drinks each, flavors on point champagne delicious 5/5. Overall

The interior is well decorated with Thai culture and with the darker tones of the design, it makes the restaurant feel quite fancy. 4.5/5 - Crispy Pork (Moo Krop) Fried Rice - Very savory fried rice dish. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish. Filling portions and did not overcook their noodles. You can taste each component of the dish, which speaks to everything not being under or overcooked. We ordered nuts on the side but you would be quite satisfied ordering this if you like pad thai! 4.5/5 - Pad Gra Prow - Appropriate veggie to beef proportion and very flavorful. Minced well and great to complement with your carb dishes (noodle or rice). We thought the dish was slightly oily but it feels well absorbed when eaten with our pad thai. If you have tried the dish before and would like it, this will be satisfactory!

The papaya salad especially. Favorite dish was the Pad See Ew. Would maybe recommend takeout/delivery as opposed to waiting!

Total of 8-9 tables for the restaurant and they fill up quick, servers are attentive and direct albeit pushy on recommendations. This is one of two locations and preference would be for the other one. Unique A frame interior with paintings on the walls.

Great customer service paired with homey Thai flavors!…read more I came here on a Saturday night with a friend who recommended we try this spot. It was around 8 PM, and it wasn't busy at all, so we were able to get a table right away. The restaurant itself is mid-sized for the city, with enough seating to accommodate a few large parties as well as plenty of smaller groups. During our visit, we shared three dishes: the Thai coconut hot cakes from their specials menu (which they highly recommended), the beef salad for some protein, and the drunken noodles. The Thai coconut hot cakes were warm, gooey, and filled with coconut milk. I really enjoyed the contrast between the crispy bottoms of the cakes and the chunks of pumpkin and corn throughout. The beef salad and drunken noodles were both good, but I will say they didn't necessarily stand out compared to similar dishes I've had at other Thai restaurants. Overall, if you're looking for simple Thai dishes that aren't overly spicy, this would be a solid spot to check out.
