My girlfriends treated me here for an early birthday dinner during our girls trip to NYC. I came in with little expectations because well...it's the LV flagship store in NYC so I thought it would be a gimmicky tourist trap. I was wrong! The store is beautiful with so many spots to take photos. The restaurant is beautiful with refined furnishings. Service is impeccable and the food is pleasantly delicious. Loved all the little LV monogram details. Cost was moderate - what you expect to pay at an upscale restaurant but not super expensive. However as mentioned service is top notched and treat you like royalty. Definitely worth the hype!

What? Louis Vuitton has a cafe? I'm so there! Had a conference in town and asked my girlie coworkers if they'd be interested in joining. Of course they all did...plus their plus ones! Drinks, eggs, pats of butter, burger buns, waffles, desserts: everything has some type of LV monogram on them. The silverware is LV, the plates are LV. While the savory dishes are good, the drinks and desserts are definitely the highlight here. Get the hazelnut flower and the chocolate monogram and some type of coffee and you'll be set. Reservations are scooped up within a day on Resy. Not super hard to get when they first release them though. The max you can book for is 8. Service was great, but this is definitely a "leisure" lunch. We had an 11:30am reservation and didn't get out of there until two hours later. Unfortunately, they do not do separate checks. You know how that goes. Inevitably, at least one always miscalculates and puts in less than they owe, someone else gets stuck putting in way more than they should have (me!). They will do multiple credit cards though. Please try to change your software to accommodate separate checks!

Having been here for breakfast and dinner, I can definitely say this place is worth every dollar!! However, it is super hard to get resys for. The first time we came for breakfast we waited outside the store before they opened for a good 30-45 min because we couldn't get a resy. We were first in line and got sat at the bar. The most recent time I was able to snag a resy for dinner and we got sat at the actual table. Both times had excellent service. You are paying for the ambiance and the brand but all of the food and drinks were delicious!! I love that even though the LV logo is almost on everything, they incorporate it really well and it's not tacky at all. It's all really nicely done and we ordered desserts both times and they were just fantastic. I saw that they do afternoon tea as well so the next time I'm back in NY I will definitely try to get a resy for that!

The space is beautiful. I'm glad we tried the afternoon tea but not sure if it's something I would repeat again. We had reservations and still had to wait 30+ minutes to get seated. Some walk-ins got seated at the bar faster than us. Once seated, the service was good. The food comes presented so well and both the savory and sweet treats were delicious. The size of each item could be bigger. Overall, it was a good experience.

I made reservations like a month before our travel and included a note online saying we're celebrating my son's early birthday. I surprised the kids to dinner here for our last night in NYC. They couldn't believe it and it felt great to see their excitement. The hostess was nice and checked us in. We waited a couple of minutes and were walked to our table. Inside the restaurant was beautiful. Felt like you were in someone's living room. The chairs were comfortable and decor was fantastic, not your average dining experience. I love the luggage tags hanging on the ceiling and the monogram theme everything. Our waitress (forgot her name, tall, slim, dirty blond hair?) gave us menus and another server came with our wafers. TBH I wasn't fond of our waitress because she didn't "check up" on us, I only seen her two times: 1. Menu 2. Check and I was personally disappointed. I wanted a great friendly waitress to make this one in a lifetime experience complete. However the other servers were amazing. There was a Hispanic lady with dark hair, she would come to refill our waters. She gave us better service and attention than our waitress. I didn't even want to tip the waitress, but I thought about the other staff members who were amazing so I did it for them. The gentlemen who bought out our food were more attentive than our waitress. Anyways, the food was delicious & worth the price. The bread and butter were good. The French fries were scrumptious! My daughter had the ravioli, my son had the sliders and I got the lobster rolls. Both of my kids agreed it was really good. My lobster rolls were so flavorful and mouth watering. We also ordered two desserts! And lastly, they didn't forget about my son's birthday. They came out with a little something which my son ate right away, lol.

This is no doubt a very hard reservation to get as it's completely booked out within minutes of releasing their spots (28 days in advance). So we felt very fortunate to manage a Sunday lunch spot. It's located in the interim Louis Vuitton store. The store is gorgeous! The cafe is on the top floor. Our reservation was at 1pm we arrived a little early and were told there would be a slight delay. Well that delay was over 35 minutes! I find this to be quite strange for a place that is very touristy and so hard to reserve. Tourists are usually packing many things in to one day! Once seated in the beautifully decorated dining area....we waited at least another 25 minutes before someone took our order! we opted for the pre fix lunch menu (around $185 pp) . The food is lovely and you get all the fancy Louis Vuitton monogrammed veges and pastries that make for a great instagram post. My steak was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed everything I ate. Overall, I was disappointed in the customer service, the entire process from agreeing the boutique to finishing our meal took over 3.5 hours! Not bc we were enjoying a leisurely meal....but bc we were essentially not attended to for a cumulative hour! All in all a great meal--but don't come here if you have other things scheduled after.

Awesome time! They texted me while I was shopping that my reservation and table was ready for me. I had the Matcha latte it was delicious and the LV chocolate monogram iconic cake was outstanding so creamy chocolate ganache, soft melted every bite of it. Amazing! The decor everywhere just high end elevating this popular design to a different level. Definitely coming back to try different things.

Le Café Louis Vuitton is definitely more about the luxury experience than just the food but honestly, I enjoyed both. The space is beautiful, the presentation is very on-brand, and every detail feels curated. Celebrated my birthday & upcoming graduation here and the monogram ravioli and filet were standout dishes for me, and the desserts/drinks were just as aesthetically pleasing as expected. It's expensive, reservations are tough to get, but if you're into fashion, luxury dining, or unique NYC experiences, it's worth trying at least once.

Great experience overall! Food came out quickly, drinks were strong and friendly service. Surprised us with a birthday treat as well. Would definitely recommend the experience for others.

Trust Yelp reviewers, and treat yourself to this decadent afternoon tea and or lunch experience in New York! This café was not on my trip plan, but we booked it because the Tiffany Blue Box Café had canceled our reservation last minute; this was such a pleasant surprise and my favorite afternoon tea in New York City. The service, food, quality, and ambience was incredible. It was clear that attention to detail was everywhere from the monogram food to monogram tableware to the interior design where even the ceiling was adorned with Louis Vuitton travel luggage tags! This café was such a treat, and everything was beautifully presented. I was surprised to learn that not all parties have to order the afternoon tea to be able to experience it so we ordered two afternoon teas to share amongst four people and ordered other items to experience the broader menu. I encourage you to order as many items as your wallet can handle because all the items were absolutely amazing - delicious to the eyes and tastebuds. Also even though portions were dainty small (as expected from afternoon tea) we actually left quite full so don't worry about leaving hungry.

I've been wanting to try this place for afternoon tea ever since it opened, despite the high price of $110. I finally had the chance to experience it with a friend. The interior was elegant and classy with pretty displays, lovely lighting, as well as comfortable seating. For my beverage, I tried the Louis Vuitton house blend tea, but felt like the flavor was too light, so ended up getting the Cappuccino. This was perfect looking, beautifully monogrammed with the Louis Vuitton logo. There were 5 sandwiches, including Lobster Roll, Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Smoked Salmon Caviar, and Cucumber. The Lobster Roll and Chicken Salad were my favorites. Lobster Roll was presented with fresh herbs and flowers on top. It contained a decent amount of tender, well seasoned lobster in a tasty lemon mayo. Chicken Salad consisted of curry mayo, almonds and raisins, which added a nice sweetness. The curry mayo was packed with wonderful, savory flavor. Egg Salad was mixed with black truffle, which was quite yummy. Smoked Salmon came with cream cheese and caviar, which was decent, with a well balanced saltiness to it. Instead of the traditional scones, we were served Marble Gateau, which was a chocolate with vanilla tea cake dipped in dark chocolate, and a side of warm vanilla anglaise. This was quite dense and filling, but delicious! In terms of desserts, they were all expertly crafted and delectable. These included Blackcurrant Charlotte, Pistachio and Strawberry Choquette, Mini Vanilla / Hazelnut / Chocolate Entremet. All of these treats were delicate and layered with fragrant taste. Service was excellent. Our waitress was welcoming and accommodating. We were well taken care of throughout our time here.

You're definitely paying for the elegant luxury experience here but honestly, it's a fun one! From the monogrammed details to the attentive service, everything felt so polished and upscale and I loved every bit of it. As expected, the menu is on the pricier side. My friend managed to secure us a breakfast reservation and I ordered the smoked salmon. Presentation was adorable, with the Louis Vuitton monogram on the waffle! Salmon was lovely and the cream cheese spread was tasty. But the portion was quite small. Definitely come expecting this because you're really paying for the atmosphere and experience. Bathroom was also a little confusing to find at first but once you exit the restaurant space, you just continue straight past the doors ahead and you'll eventually see it. Overall, if you're looking for a chic, Instagrammable dining experience, this is a great spot to try.

Are there gluten free options or modifications (ie gf bread for sandwiches?)?

We do have plenty of gluten free options. However, the sandwiches or sliders cannot be made with gluten free bread.

    Are there vegan options?

Yes, there are vegan options. You can ask your server for them. Mind you it is limited but it is available.

What is the actual time period they serve Afternoon tea? It says 11:30-5PM on their menu online, but many other sites state 2-5PM, so I just want to make sure about the timing!

Hi Kathy. We serve the Afternoon Tea from 11:30am to 5pm. Could you let us know which site showed a different time? We'd love to make sure everything is accurate. Thank you…

Walk ins are only for 21+?

I did not see children - but I do nit know. It is a pretty adult place. I do nit know what a child would eat there. It depends on how sophisticated the taste bud if the child is.

Is it okay for walking in? I cannot find any available date to make reservation?

Walk-ins are available and easier for earlier times like 11-12 years when i went i asked the specifically and i did see a few walkins waiting to be seated by the bar

Is there a take- out option in case my friends and I can't get a table?

No sure about take out but the do except walk-ins j would recommend doing a walk-in during daytime on a weekday.

Hard to get a reservation? Nothing is available for this year. Please advise.

    They do except walk-ins

What is the best way to obtain a reservation?

Very hard to get a res but they said every Sunday and early Wednesday reservations open up but they also except walk-ins
