The wait was probably around 15-20 minutes. The parking situation is standard to the area; either get lucky finding street parking, or pay for valet. My BF and I got the naengmyeon and beef back rib combo to share. The price point was super solid for the amount of food; approx. $28 for the combo! They're generous with the refills of the banchan, so this was just the right amount of food for us. The bibim naengmyeon was refreshing, sweet, and spicy all at the same time. Perfect for a hot day! The noodles here are very thin compared to other versions of this dish that I've had. The beef back ribs were good, but didn't quite hit it out the park. Beef Ribs were soooo tender and tasty whilst the naengmyeon kinda lacked in flavor and chewiness. Kimchi was alright, but I looooved the cucumber and soybean paste. Would come back for the ribs too. Korean friend recommended Leega as their go to for soup. We ordered 3 items: #7 Leega sulung tang $17.45, #1 Leega Gukbab $17.45, Bulgogi dolsot bibimbap $18.99 Sulung tang had plentiful beef strips. Broth was bland. Our girls requested to add salt. Gukbab meat had a lot of fat. Had to verify what it was (looked like intestines). Flavor was good. Didn't taste the ox bone broth. Bibimbap was plated nicely. We chose the bulgogi option (tofu also an option, same price). Appreciated the mushrooms and zucchini. (My favorite bibimbap is still at KTP cafeteria--always solid) Ambience was modern and clean. Two separate bathrooms for men and women (clean and stocked). We came around 11am on a Sunday. It was relatively empty. By noon, all the tables were full. Service was typical of a Korean establishment. You get better service when you're Korean. My husband is Korean but looks Chinese; he also doesn't speak Korean fluently so these two factors didn't work in our favor. Had to ask for more utensils as the table was not well stocked (metal and plastic available) and also for extra bowls (we have young kids). They were willing to accommodate. It's a small place with a constant stream of patrons. Service was good. Good was great. Here's what we ordered: Half & Half meat & kimchi dumplings - 4/5. Kimchi is just right, not too spicy. #30 cold buckwheat noodles in beef broth 3/5 - I wanted to like it but I think I prefer hot broth. Almost everyone in there was enjoying cold noodles so it's just me. #23 prime seok galbi 5/5 - really good. There's precut pieces of meat under the green onions & 2 pieces with bone. Underneath slices of potato which soaks up the juice. One of my favorite things about Korean food is the banchan. A great place not just for naengmyun but for a variety of other soup based dishes and spicy food! My mom (we're Korean) heard about this place from her Korean network so that's the first indicator that it must be good lol. We got bibim naengmyun, mandu, and mala sullungtang. Fav meal of the month! I cannot express how much I love Korean food. How is everything so tasty and full of flavor?? As usual, I'm drooling as I'm writing this review. I never order my cold noodles spicy as most places just have it super spicy but the one at Lee Ga is on the sweet & spicy side. The noodles are so thin yet has a nice chew/bounciness to it. I could honestly eat the entire bowl myself. The beef ribs were perfectly tender as well, the meat comes right off the bone! They also serve hot bone broth on the side if you order the spicy cold noodles and that was a great touch to help wash everything down. I didn't get to try the spicy pork as much as I was too busy eating my food (the other meal was the fiance's pick) but the soybean soup was the most flavorful soybean soup I've ever had. I almost wanna go back to ask for the recipe because I could prob eat that soup every day. It tasted so clean and healthy, but also packed with flavor. It's the perfect soup to eat with any type of meat (would prob pair so well with fried fish!) The restaurant is on the smaller side but looking around, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. Street parking is definitely harder to find in that area since it's a high traffic intersection but there's valet parking available for $3. Lastly, the service was amazing. I wanted to come here and try the "cold noodles", it's one of their specialty items on the menu. Leega has been on our list for a while and I cannot believe it took me this long to make the trip. Every bite was absolutely fantastic. The sides were delicious, and the ribs were so so so tasty. I probably could have had 10 more of them... lol. The beef soup and the creamy broth with the spicy naengmyeun were delicious! I cannot believe how fantastic the spicy sauce was. It wasn't overpowering but still a great amount of spice. Of course the soups were the main feature of the meal but the pancake was so good that it almost outshined the entrees! We got mild for the galbi jjim and it was perfect - the cheese, spices and toppings melded together so well. The bimbimbap with the toasted rice and crispy chive pancake were delicious. The ox bone soup was hearty and came with a lot of meat. First and foremost was surprised how small this spot was inside a very busy strip mall on a very busy Vermont street in KTOWN!! Staff were amazing!!! I ordered the naengmyeon + pork ribs, and ordered the galbi jjim to share . The cold noodles were refreshing, and a great post workout meal on a hot day. The added pork ribs were well flavored and fall off the bone. Portions were huge and I was only able to finish eat one more rib from the galbi jimm. Their cold noodles (naengmyeon) are a popular dish, especially refreshing and satisfying when paired with Korean BBQ. The broth in their mul naengmyeon (cold noodles in a chilled, tangy beef broth) is flavorful and well-seasoned, with a nice balance of savory and slightly sweet, and it's icy cold, which is perfect for hot days. The broth has a depth that enhances the chewy noodles and complements BBQ dishes nicely. My favorite place to get Naengmyeon in K town. Their noodles are extremely thin and chewy - I have not found better in k town yet. The broth is hearty and flavorful, especially when you add the mustard and vinegar. My absolute favorite naengmyeon here, though, is the Jengban Neang Myun. The addition of perilla leaf to the spicy sauce + cabbage mix that the noodles sit on top gives a completely extra flavor dimension. But, I also really like to get the Mul Neang Myun combo with the spare rib - it's a great deal!! Beware, though - the naengmyeon comes with a LOT of noodles - good enough to split into two meals. Though the noodles don't keep well the next day sadly. I've had some of their other menu items and they are very solid. Would order again, but I also come back to get the naengmyeon bc I love noodles too much. Their banchan is also really good. The kimchi is made with oysters (though you will not always get an oyster in the kimchi banchan), which is what gives the extra oomph to the kimchi flavor. I love it. For $70, two dishes we got, But after the meal, I was still feeling fraught. The Seok Galbi was chewy, too tough to chew, And the soup was plain -- what was I to do? The banchan did help, but still, I sighed, For a $40 short rib, I felt like I'd been denied. Though the staff was kind and the spot was neat, I couldn't leave feeling full or complete. We ordered the bugogi hansang which comes with banchan, rice, and claypot of vegetable soup. Really filling, delicious and healthy! The kimchi had extra umami from the anchovies, you get a choice of purple rice, and the soup had this green vegetable that was nicely braised, tender and felt like home cooked, I loved it all. The bulgogi was very tender, wish it was a bit less sweet, but still very tasty. We also ordered the spicy pork version and wished maybe a bit less sauce, but still we gobbled it all up. Right when we walked in, the staff was super accommodating and during dining they were super hilarious making jokes and making everyone at the table laugh. Food - everything here we tried was soooo good! We started with meat dumplings. They are pretty big and the dumplings were juicy! Definitely want to try the kimchi dumpling next time. We ordered few things that my friend recommended and boy if was fantastic. 1. PRIME SEOK GALBI GU-I - Absolutely delicious. The meat was moist, flavorful and so tender. This was one my favorite of night. 2. BULGOGI JEANGOL- This was fantastic as well but it was a little to sweet for me. This was loaded with bulgogi under all that vegetables. 3. CHIVE PANCAKE- Probably one of the best pajeon out there with crispy edges and still moist in the middle. 4. KIMCHI DUMPLINGS- The was good. Nothing fancy about it. 5.
