I came into what's Crackin late this morning greeted by the partners of the restaurant. They are so welcoming , organized and had the ever changing covid rules and regulations down. It takes some bravery opening a new restaurant during these strange times we are living in. The food is eggcellent. I had the Benedict Sandwich with House Made Hollandaise to Dip my Benedict in. Because of this weeks Ca governors do as I say not as I do orderI savored every bite of my Benedict at home. I want to say hats off to the chef! This place just opened and they're great! I highly recommend the following: avocado toast, breakfast burrito which tends to come with a free coffee, breakfast charcuterie and tater tots! I had the Benedict sandwich. Generous with the Ham, wonderful sauce on the side and excellent fruit on the side (pineapple, oranges, grapes.... This place was awesome!! We ended up here after leaving another place that didn't have great service. We'd never been here before so we were excited. We had trouble finding parking because of where it is but it wasn't u til we finally found one and walked in that we found out there's a parking lot behind it lol. So just go straight to the parking lot instead of trying to find street parking. The service was great! The servers were all so nice and attentive and super sweet! They had great recommendations and didn't have any attitude about us asking what's good in the menu lol. I had the Burrito Bowl and a side of Tater Tots and a Michelada. Everything I had was awesome specially the tots, (extra crispy reminded me of when I was a kid.) we also shared breakfast nachos. My friends al loved their food as well! I tried my friends croque madame and it was soooo good! Comfort food at its finest. The restrooms were very clean and the outdoor seating was cute. My friend and I came to this place for breakfast. The first thing I noticed was that all the staff helping us were extremely polite and friendly. I ordered the BLTA wrap with fruit and my friend ordered the Avocado Toast. Every bite of my wrap had bacon in it and I enjoyed eating it very much. The fruit included strawberries and blueberries, some of my favorites. My friend liked her avocado toast but wish it included two slices of toast instead of the one that was cut in half. One complaint I have is with the orange juice. It did not taste fresh. Reminded me of drinking Tropicana Oj. I have driven by this place on 2nd Street and wanted to try it out. I called in an order for their early bird special (a burrito and coffee). The person who answered the phone was extremely nice and also dealt with my phone cutting in and out. I placed an order for two burritos and 2 coffees and they did not disappoint. I wish I had a photo, but I dug in too fast! The burritos are a great size and included a pleasant surprise, there were french fries! It's a breakfast CA Burrito! I almost never leave reviews, let alone bad reviews, but we had a horrible experience this morning. The blonde manager was incredibly rude to me when I put my name in and told the hostess right in front of me to seat her group of six friends before anyone else. We were told it would be a 20-25 minute wait. After 45 minutes, I checked in to see where we were on the list and was told there was still a party ahead of us. We saw several parties show up after us and get seated before we did which seemed suspicious. Finally, after over an hour we were finally seated. The manager, who clearly saw us waiting out in the sun for an hour, made no effort to check on our table or offer to comp anything. It wasn't until we were leaving that she said "hope everything was okay!" which at that point we had somewhere to be, so we didn't really have time to complain. One thing that did stand out to me was how... white the restaurant clientele was. Meanwhile our group was a mix of races. Obviously we can't prove foul play, but it seems strange that a restaurant in a city as diverse as Long Beach would have so few people of color. read more

Shared the vegetarian breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadilla with soyrizo, and the tater tots with gravy for dipping with my boyfriend and it more than enough (we actually couldn't finish it all). I orded the nachos and they were easily the worst nachos I have ever had in my life. They came without guacamole, even though the menu said guacamole. When I asked about this, the waitress said that they were out of guacamole, which they should have told me when I ordered them. The nachos also had very little cheese, if they had any (I can't tell). Had the crackin breakfast burrito. It was a little on the spendy side at $12 but was good size. I was underwhelmed with the flavor. It needs some umph to it. Plus the potatoes inside were...French fries?? This place could be more with a little more practice, adds to the menu to try to appeal to a lunch crowd and some added adult beverages like a mimosa.
