This is the second gas station that I visit for more than just gas. I'm not sure if it's me, but I'm seeing more and more "gas stations" offering delicious options for those that need to gas-up their taste buds (see what I did there). Their breakfast is really good and at a great price. Feel free to eat it here or take it home. I love their breakfast sandwich. So good and very filling. I also just discovered them for sandwiches, which I love, and they are just as good. I recently ordered the Steak Sandwich and it was huge and very, very well made. Yet another gas station that I frequent for more than just gas. Although the gas here IS one of the cheapest in my area, I'm finding myself here more and more because of the tasty food served here. This place has recently been remodeled, and I have to say it looks 10X better! The only negative is that they chose such a light color for the flooring, that you can see any and everything that falls or dirties the floor. Since gas stations have SO much foot traffic, I think they're gonna regret this flooring. Other than that, everything inside looks great. Their empanadas are great and filled very well. Their breakfast is really good and it is at a good price. You can eat in their new tables and chairs, or take it home. I love their breakfast sandwich. I think they sell the biggest tostadas I've ever seen! So good and very filling. The hash brown that breakfast platters come with is yummy. Their pan con bistec sandwich is also very tasty and huge. This is definitely a place to check out whenever you're in the need for gas, and even when you're not ;) read more

I know the pumps can be dimly lit and hard to access at times, but if you need fuel and are heading eastbound on 8th street then this might be your best bet. The inside offers basic refreshments, cigs, and mints which are a necessity at times. The prices for fuel aren't as bad as they could be which is a plus. Due to the congested area it's in, it's understandable at times when there's a line inside to pay. Overall, it's not bad and since it's better to fuel up before parking and enjoying your night at the nearby bars and restaurants-this place offers just that without a hassle. Paying at the pump is your best best to maximize on time. There's not that many more easily accessible gas stations left heading eastbound so stopping here definitely comes in handy. read more

This place gives El Carajo a run for it's money as far as a gourmet gas station, at least when it comes to dessert. Like other Yelpers have mentioned, they have a Latin cafeteria menu with pastelitos, Pan con Bistec and Cuban sandwiches. My review centers on their crepes. They have a menu of about 8 different crepes, evenly split between lunch and desserts. I've had their dessert ones only thus far. The gamut runs from the traditional strawberry and bananas crepes, to orange and Dulce de leche. I like that they make the "crust" when you place your order. The ladies are pretty generous with the nutella, and the strawberries and bananas taste fresh and not soggy. I'm looking forward to trying the orange crepes soon, but not a fan of Dulce de leche in general. The only downside is they close their crepe operations and I think customized Cuban sandwich operations early (around 7pm). Also, the pepsi machine was down last Tuesday. read more

My review is centered on their masterpiece, the "Pan con Bistec" Huge, tasty, always freshly made with Cuban bread and string fries. Did I say huge? a feast for one, plenty for two people, even 3 on a diet. They will make it from scratch so either call in or arrive with a few minutes to spare since the place gets busy at lunch time. The price is about $7. This is not a restaurant, it is the gourmet cafeteria on a gas station, the girls are very nice and attentive but there is no table service or stuff like that. This place is right in the back of my grandma's house so I can literally walk over there, which is perfect for sunday mornings when I want some cafe con leche and pan cubano. You can buy a loaf of Cuban bread here for under a buck. They also have regular gas station junk food i.e. chocolate, chips, soda. Plus the fact that you can have different types of sandwiches from a medianoche to a pan con bistec. Better than Subways! (I mean on the more choices, not the nutrition lol.) I've tried some of their pastelitos and they're okay but I prefer going to a bakery instead. However what made me fall in love is their arepas. So yum! They have them ready and throw them on the flat grill to warm up for you. It's actually made with corn bread and lots of cheese. Delicious! I take no pleasure is saying this: I will crawl down Coral Way in rush hour for their coffee. It's that good. I know, I know. "A gas station? Coffee? Hasn't it been roasting since the Carter administration?" Yes, yes, and no. I'm talking Cafe Con Leche here. And it is so good that other people in my office will text me requests for it on my morning commute. If you find yourself on Coral Way, seriously consider eating here over fast food crap. The gourmet gas station is the future! I had a great Cuban breakfast here. It was prepared and served quickly and it was cheap. It's wonderful sitting inside eating my delicious meal and watching hot MILFs come in to pay for gas or get coffee. I usually come in to the station store for energy drinks, water, or O.J. and the cafeteria is always busy with hungry customers. I have been coming here for gas for the past few years and have always been tempted to try their food, but the idea of eating in a gas station just seemed wrong. Also, I would come here at night, when the cafeteria was already closed, so I was never able to give into my urge to try the food here. When they posted both pictures of the food and the prices, I knew I had to come on my lunch break and check it out. I checked yelp before I left work to find out what to get and settled on the Pan Con Bistec. I ordered it without Mayo, assuming I would just get onion, tomato, and lettuce. When my enormous sandwich was done (seriously enough for 3 meals), I sat down at the tables inside and took a bite. It was excellent, except they put mustard and ketchup on it (two things I fear more than most foods). I didn't have the heart to have them make me a new one because it just would have been such a huge waste of food, and there was more than enough for me to pick around. At 7.99 (which I think makes it the most expensive thing on the menu), this sandwich is a bargain. The meat is tender and tangy, marinated with cumin for sure. They also added Swiss cheese, which I love melted on Latin sandwiches. I can't wait to come back and try more, but I will ask them first what comes on everything. read more

I paid $9 for 2 croquetas, an orange juice & an arepa. A bit pricey as the OJ was small & the arepa was rock hard. I could not bite into it & it smelled old. It is truly the worst arepa I have ever had in my life. The fact that they actually sold that to someone that was intending to eat is what makes me upset. By the time I ordered, paid, and actually received my purchases, I had been waiting a while. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and didn't actually discover this until I was far from the gas station but had I knew beforehand, I would've requested a refund. Customer service is subpar. Attendants are not very friendly, are slow to even acknowledge you. Will not be coming back to purchase from here. read more

Have been here twice. Had the pan con bistec both times and both times it was good but nothing to write home about. The bread is soft but the steak is BLAND. I've had better steak sandwiches at other places. Also received a soda with my sandwich. Machine was not working properly so they gave me a can. Which was good because upon closer inspection of the ice disposal, I noticed the mold. Yuk!!! Wonder when was the last time they had a health inspection. Hope cooking area behind the counter is not that bad. In account of service, not to good. Lady didn't speak English so it seemed like she refused to address my husband who only speaks English. WTF? She spoke enough English for him to understand her. She should have addressed him since he was asking a few questions. She basically turned to me. I spoke to her in Spanish because I didn't want to be rude. But really I should have spoken in English just to make her property address someone who does not speak the language. I'm sure there are many non Spanish speakers visiting the gas station. read more

Worst service of my life. I'm reporting this theft to the States Department of Weights and Measures as I was charged for 10 gallons of gasoline and didn't get any in my vehicle. I went inside to ask for help and see what was happening and Vivian Camejo (who was the same person who charged me for products earlier and was a complete bitch) was not helpful and very rude. In my life I have NEVER taken my business to a place only to be treated like trash because employees didn't want to do their jobs. This gas station is filled with friendly people! I go often to get gas and my cafecito/lotto fix. They are nice to their customers. The place is clean and great lighting! They make a killing with their cafecito, cortadito & cafe con leches. Their Cuban Bread is one of the best in town! The best cuban tostada I have found in Miami! They use real butter and the bread is crunchy and chewy!!! YUMMM! The breakfast combos are alright, nothing too exciting, just ok. The cafe con leche is usually pretty good...but I just don't like that when you get to the end of your cup there is always coffee grinds down there...weird. I like this place. Gas and food, the hybrid that takes away from having to go to a supermarket/grocery store for some snacks survival food. The added bonus to Liberty is the Latin flavor thrown into the mix. Giving them a 3 star because the steak sandwich is REALLY good. But the cantinas is the worst food I've ever had and they're extremely stingy. First day of cantina and I get 3 little meatballs and a shit load of rice with stiff gross mashed potatoes. All in all ($25) wasted I barely ate Anything because it was all cooked disgustingly. Even though there are 4 bakery's and many delis in the neighborhood, none are as good, as fresh and as inexpensive as the gourmet deli at Liberty gas station. i try putting gas on 04-04-13 and as i held the pump in the air and without putting it inside my car, it began to charge my debit card, i immediately put the pump back to stop it, i when inside to tell the ladies that work there. i was treated as if i was lying thief, we are talking about $1.25, who is going to go inside a gas station at 7:30 in the morning to scam them out of 1.25, they did not give me the money back and was humiliated. i will never put gas here again i don't care how good the coffee or the tostadas are. read more
