This place is so good that I usually come here twice a week for breakfast . Reasonable prices and big portions. Highly recommended.

We were sat at a table within two minutes, and promptly greeted by a gentleman pouring us water, and our server Adalberto. The layout of the restaurant and the ambience that it creates is top notch. It is very tropical in nature, with natural outdoor tones, and bamboo, and lots of plants and ceiling fans. Thankfully their AC kept the place nice and cool. Adalberto was very friendly and very helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us select cocktails, appetizers and our main dish. The food was delicious, and the cocktails expertly crafted. This was an excellent experience, and we look forward to coming back to try different menu items. Ps... Give yourself enough time to find parking. Unfortunately we parked in the Cocowalk garage which is a nightmare.

The decor is beautiful, with a lush tropical feel that perfectly reflects its name - Jaguar. Our group shared several dishes so we could try a variety of items, and everything was delicious. My favorite was the Pork Pernil it was incredibly flavorful and tender. The restaurant is on the pricier side, and the portions are not particularly large, so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. Overall, it's a great spot for the atmosphere and quality of the food.

Today, while waiting for something to print at Office Depot, I was searching for a nearby brunch spot when it popped up in my search & I'm so glad I did! First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot. Everything was spotless, and I don't usually call that out because it should be a given, but the restroom was impressively clean. Like extra clean. I also just learned they have multiple locations now, which is amazing. Well deserved. I can't wait to go back, and I wish them continued success.

I placed an order online through their website and drove to pick it up only to find out that their own website listed the wrong address for this location that Apple Maps has the wrong hours for. What a mess! By the time I got to the wrong address and called to figure out what was going on, my food had been sitting for 30 min and I was still 15 min away from the right address + 25 min to where I was staying. I had ordered arepas, empanadas and ceviche. When I finally arrived to pick up I asked for the food to be remade specially the ceviche since I didn't feel comfortable eating something raw after it seating on the counter for over an hour due to their mistake. There was push back but they finally agree to re make the ceviche only. However the rest of the food was cold by the time we ate it. Very disappointing. Food was ok, not amazing or memorable

You won't find fancy or extravagant decor here and when looking at the wines, the list of whites in particular wasn't very extensive and I think all were priced less than $50/bottle. The dining area isn't terribly large but it's well-appointed with dark wood chairs, white linen tablecloths and napkins and the place is well-maintained. Most everything about Farolito deserved 3.5 stars, though our waiter would rate higher IMO. Service on the night we were here was attentive from outgoing staff, and they didn't mind swapping the type of fish that was listed in the menu for a particular dish. If there was an upcharge to make such a change, they'd tell you up front what it was. Prices were reasonable and the food was good; we'd definitely come here again when in the area. There are a few other Peruvian/ceviche spots in the Gables and Grove that we tend to visit more often - though admittedly, those other spots do come with higher pricepoints than Farolito. There's no auto-gratuity on the bill here, but our final check listed one price if we'd pay in cash, or a higher final cost if we'd be paying with a credit card, which is something I'd not seen before in any restaurant.

What a gorgeous space for dates, birthday dinners or nights out. The food was incredible. Papa à la huancaina was excellent and it was probably my least fav thing we ordered. That should tell you how great the meal was. Arroz con pollo egg rolls ere insanely good. Stuffed with cilantro rice and chicken mixture and small dollops of sauce...get it. Please get it. They have another name on the menu, but you'll find it under appetizers. Aji de gallina was the best i have ever had. Ripped up chicken tossed in huancaina sauce and served with white rice and potatoes. The ceviche trio was amazing too. I thought classic would be my favorite. The I tried the rocoto and that was my favorite. Then I tried the aji Amarillo and that was my fav! All three are some of the best I've ever had. Would get the trio every time as I can't commit to just one flavor, Service was amazing too. Our server was so friendly and all of the staff brining out dishes were as well. Can't wait to visit again! We are considering staying in the same hotel across the street just to be able to drop in here for dinner again!

We were seated right away, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The service was excellent--our plates and silverware were always refreshed, our water glasses were constantly refilled, and Valeria was especially helpful and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the octopus and the croquetas, and both were very good. The picanha was delicious and cooked perfectly. I ordered the special carbonara with caviar, which mentioned Wagyu bacon. While the dish was good, it was underwhelming overall. There was very little meat, and I felt it lacked flavor. The same went for the truffle mac and cheese--it was disappointing, with very little truffle flavor and not enough sauce or cheese. The portions in general were quite small, including the appetizers. For dessert, we had the warm cookie and the cheesecake empanada, and both were very good. The biggest downside was the cost. Our bill was very expensive (almost 500$) and we were also charged a 20% service fee, which came out to about $70. We were told that this fee goes "to the house," and that any additional tip would go to the server. That was surprising and honestly did not sit well with us. Overall, the service was great and there were definitely some highlights, but for the price, the food and portion sizes did not fully meet expectations. I'm not sure this is a restaurant I would return to often.

Parking is limited as it's shared with the other establishments on the strip. Inside is small with not too many tables but they also have a counter along the window if you are dining alone like I was. It's a popular place so if you come at peak hour there most likely will be a wait. I ordered what I heard everyone raving about which was the French Toast along with a Iced Coffee. The French Toast was as expected delicious. It comes nestled on a pond of sweet syrup with orange citrus. The Toast itself was the perfect balance of crispness from the cooking and the spongy syrup goodness. It was truly delicious. Now it is super sweet and I'm ok with that. But overly sweet is not your thing then maybe opt for something else. The coffee was good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means but it wasn't bad. The place was pretty full and people kept coming in so they are definitely doing something right. But I will say this, paying $34 for an Iced coffee and a slice of French Toast seems a little excessive to me. Was it delicious, yes but was it worth it for the price. For me it wasn't but maybe not for you. So I recommend Tina in the Gables especially on someone else's dime.
