Perfect for catering and authentic Vietnamese dishes! They offer a huge menu with tons of foods to choose from. If you're having a party or event, be sure to order and book the food here. I highly recommend the bánh canh tôm cua, bún bò huế, and items wrapped in banana leaves. * Bánh Canh Tôm Cua: 8/10 - flavorful, tons of crab and shrimp patties They have indoor dining which I recommend so that you can taste the food fresh. They're located in the popular Garden Grove Shopping Plaza so parking can get difficult at peak times, but people are always going in and out. Very good!

I was aggressively craving some BBH after a Halloween night. I needed some hearty broth to help with my hangover. My aunt suggested we go here and I'm so glad. It's very limited seating as most people order to go. The bun Bo hue was rich in flavor and hearty. The meat was all that I wanted- 5/5. We ordered and banh beo on the side. I would have preferred it in the little dishes but again this place is to go so they set it up on one dish. These were also really good - 4/5. They also gave us each that yellow liquid in a cup. I forget if it was tea or like a savory broth LOL.

Food is ok but the service and dining environment are awful. I tried to ask turn on the air conditioner but got answered no. Won't come back. 避雷 避雷 千万别来 很热的环境老板娘还不开空调, 还不给水喝。

Easy to ordered Togo. Ordered ahead for easy pick up service. I ordered the Banh Cuon Thit Nuong. Very tasty which comes with their house sauce. It's $2 a piece and I ordered 10 pieces. My husband devoured this dishes and loves it. Also ordered a large Bun Bo Hue, I believe it was $14 for large bowl. Tastes pretty good and I can taste they put shrimp paste in it. I also order Banh nam which is shrimp with mincemeat pork wrapped in banana leaf. I really missed this so had to ordered it. It hit the spot but I am used to the minced pork only without the shrimp with Banh nam. Ambiance is a pick and go place. There are some tables for dining in but I don't see people dining in. Will come back for the regular traditional Banh cuon.

Avoid this restaurant. The food is terrible--it's like eating a watery mix of MSG and nothing else.Do an gi ma toan la bot ngot. One star cung thay Khg duoc. Te qua di!!!!!

Great for casual dining. I know they also do catering trays and to go orders. Mom and I came in for banh canh tom cua. Both got regular size bowls which were more than filling. I don't know how much crab was in it but there were shrimp balls and dried shrimp and greens and onions. With the amount of shrimp balls, I'm not mad that the crab was missing. Broth was simple but flavorful, banh canh was chewy, and shrimp balls were beo. I'm definitely coming back to try other items.

Recently ordered from BBH togo because a friend recommended it. I got a large bowl and it was listed at $13 a bowl. I do love how it came with so much fresh veggies, it had a variety of herbs I don't usually see with BBH so that was nice. Meat was semi tender, noodles were soft and puffy, the shrimp and fish/meat ball was tasty. The pork piece could have been more tender, and the pork blood is always tasty lol. The shrimp/fish/meatball were HUGE and I quite enjoyed that. The broth itself was ok, but I was missing more of the spice spice if you know what I mean. Comparing it to the other popular BBH place, I think this one lacks that dimension, that extra essence. Growing up as a kid, I frequent this plaza a lot and would wander in and out of all the stores. This place has been here forever and it has changed throughout the years. I remember when it was just a strict togo place, but now they have added tables and you can dine in as well. I'm glad to see this place still surviving after all these years. When I went to go order my food, a few people came in to order party trays etc. If you're an avid BBH lover like myself, and want to try all the ones in the area, I would give this one a try. You never know, your taste buds might be difference than mine.

Ordered takeout for lunch over the weekend and was very satisfied!…read more We ordered: -spicy chili oil wontons -scallion pancakes and beef roll -pan fried buns -xiao long bao -green beans -cucumber salad -popcorn chicken Everything was delicious! The beef with the scallion pancakes was sooo tender. The cucumber salad was extra refreshing with the perfect balance of savory and tangy. You also can't ever go wrong with spicy wontons, pan fried buns, popcorn chickens, or braised green beans. Yum! Huge bonus: the restaurant is directly connected to Ben Gong's Tea. Loooove the osmanthus milk tea! I'd recommend subbing out the crystal boba and rice with regular boba and tea cubes.

Mine and my bf's go to are the dry fried green beans, mapo tofu, Chong Qing Spicy Chicken, and Yang Chow fried rice. These are more than enough for two people and we always have leftovers to take home. The mapo tofu pairs soooo well with the fried rice and my bf loves the chicken. Green beans are flavorful and crispy as well! Hot and sour soup is HUGE. They aren't consistent in making this because some days it's the perfect balance of tangy and spicy flavor, but other times its tooooo sour. The restaurant is very spacious. I love that you can just order via QR (on your phone).

It was so good that I came back again a week later! Their $21.99 weekday AYCE lunch is a steal for the quality and variety of food you get! I first came on Friday, July 3rd for lunch, but was charged $31.99, their regular dinner price because they considered it a holiday. Bummer, considering it's not the actual July 4th holiday. You get the same options as you would at $21.99. Drinks are not included at this price. Here's what really draws me to this place. I love that they have two types of lamb to choose from - Aged and Spring Lamb. While I liked both, the Spring Lamb is my favorite. They also offer beef, pork, and chicken that you can order and buffet of raw items to cook and hot items to eat right away. The quality of their food is really good for their lunch price! The options are also great! They had Crown Daisy, my favorite hotpot veggie the first time I came. But the second time I came, it was swapped out to Watercress. While I also love Watercress, I preferred Crown Daisy. The soups are flavorful and has a nice herbal flavor to them, which I love! I've tried House Special Original Broth, House Spicy Broth, and Mushroom Broth. House Special Original Broth is a must, especially if you like that Chinese Herbal flavor profile. Service was friendly both times. They do check on you often, but when they get busy, it's less frequent. I love that this restaurant is huge and clean! The decorations are also very nice - definitely seems like a semi-upscale place. If you like good quality hot pot that doesn't break the bank, come check this place out for weekday lunch! Just don't come during holiday season.

Turns out, it wasn't nearly as crowded as before - though spoiler: the price has increased a lot (I want to say it was $25/lb 10 years ago, and now is $37/lb). Keep in mind too, you can't get a small amount like 1lb - usually it's gonna be 3+lb so your bill is easily going to hit mid-$100 to $200s from the lobster alone. That being said, many people swear this is the best, and that's why they can charge whatever they want. I'm actually allergic to lobster (lol) but am a team player so I just sampled it for the funsies, and had to get another dish to actually eat (went with the beef lok luk). My family said the lobster noodle was good, but not like, fantastic (which we were expecting not fantastic but yeah, mostly came here to a family meeting.) The beef lok luk was also pretty good like, 4.3 of 5 - we just had another version at Paradise which was astounding (like 4.6) though also more expensive and pretty far away. Overall, not sure if we'll come back again as we're more curious about the copycats that have popped up which might be 80% as good and much more affordable. Stay tuned! :)

This helped us get a table much faster than we would have than if we had just shown up and waited. We ordered the large family meal, and there were 12 of us. We also ordered the Newport Lobster, fish fillet with black bean sauce, and an extra shrimp fried rice. Overall, I think the food was good, and the prices are reasonable (except the lobster, which was pricey, as you might expect from anything listed as "market price"). Most of us in the group thought the fish fillet with black bean sauce was the best. I thought it was very good, but not necessarily fantastic. (There are other Chinese restaurants that do it a little better.) The sauce was very good, but the fish wasn't quite as tender as it can be. Definitely a solid 4 stars. Other dishes were good. I think the scallop soup could have been great for some people, but my wife and I both hate cilantro, and there was a ton of cilantro. The pork was also good, and my friends thought the clams were also really good. I found the fried rice a bit bland. And for both the lobster and the crab, they could have made them a little easier to eat by cracking the shells a bit more for us. I hate fighting with my food ... And there was a fair amount of fighting on these 2 dishes. The lobster cost almost much as all the other dishes combined. It certainly looked amazing. And the sauce was very good. But I found most of it a bit overcooked. Maybe it was our fault for asking for a big one. Maybe a smaller lobster might have been cooked a little less. The great sauce (along with the fighting with the shell) might have covered up the fact that the meat was actually a bit tough and rubbery. I don't think I'd order this again. The service was very friendly and pretty fast. And, again, other than the lobster, the pieces were pretty reasonable.
