Pretty good but nothing spectacular. Super skimpy portions of lobster on the sandwich. Prices are steep. Service was friendly, though. I would not come back, but I wouldn't not recommend this place either.

We were told about the special with two lobster rolls and two chowders for $70, so we decided to go for it. We originally wanted Corona, but unfortunately they didn't have any chilled at the time, so we opted for a bottle of white wine instead. The lobster roll comes with a choice of mayo or hot butter. We chose hot butter, though I'd say the roll itself was already buttery enough that I didn't end up using much of the extra on the side. The bread was soft and buttery, and the lobster tasted pretty fresh. The chowder was creamy, just as it should be. Overall, a cute little shop with a solid offering. Everything was fresh and well prepared, and service was friendly. A pleasant, straightforward lobster roll experience.

OH MY GOD! SoCal girl visiting Boston and I wanted to experience my first lobster roll ever. We tried other places at 2pm and they were full so we headed here and my goodness we should've come here in the first place! It is very unassuming from the outside and the inside could use some love but I don't care. You can lose the aesthetics as long as the food is phenomenal and that's exactly what this was. The clam chowder was UNREAL! Best clam chowder I have ever had. It was so creamy and delicious. We thought the bowl was tiny when I came out but it was a perfect side because it was so rich. The lobster was taaaastyyy. So happy with it and the lobster was thick and chunky and tasted fresh. The toasted and buttered roll it came on added that extra layer of flavor. Excited to come back to Boston and definitely stop in here after a day of Newbury St shopping!

We got the lobster ramen and marina bay platter. Seafood is fresh with lobster being fresh and had a nice texture. I do not however recommend the lobster ramen as it is instant noodles with lobster in it. Marina bay was good fish was a good size

so I know this place is more for lobster but I was really craving a shrimp po boy and ordered one. Genuinely disappointed, after eating the first half with 3 pieces of shrimp, I opened the second half to find 2 pieces of shrimp . the taste was fine (i ordered no tomato, it typically comes with) but for about $22 total not including tip I've had much much better. Can't speak for the lobster so maybe would've had better luck, but too disappointed by this experience to give it a second shot

Tried the Lobster Roll (warm with butter) and onion rings. They were out of Lobster bisque :( I wasn't a fan of the Lobster roll, to me, the Lobster was rubbery and I had to spit out a couple bites. Just wasn't my thing. My boyfriend said tje onion rings were "ok". The service was great, really friendly servers. We sat outside and it was beautiful, really enjoyed that. I still rated a "4" because of everything was good but I guess Lobster rolls just arent my thing. If you are familiar with the InKind app, they are on there so we saved $20 by spending at least $60.

One of the better value lobster spots around, I think. Indoor and outdoor dining, service is friendly and efficient. Convenient location as well. Lobster is always pricey though, so definitely hurts a bit. The chowdah is pretty good, not fully sure if it's from Legal, but worth getting. Bostonian - always gotta get a specialty, and this was it. Less meat than the standard, but you get the fundamental experience with some savings which can't hurt. Order it hot with butter. The bread is buttered and toasted well. May not fully fill an appetite, but close. Lobstah Mac - wanted to spice it up so tried something new on visit 2. While more filling than the lobster rolls, it's not as tasty. Bowtie pasta, fair amount of cheese, and lobster meat make up a decent combo, but lobster and bread is unmatched. Skip this and just order a roll.

We came here on Thanksgiving day. We were excited. I checked out reviews before we went. The lobster rolls were decent. Husband ordered chicken philly sandwich and he said it was really good. He also liked the clam chowder. I also ordered the lobster Mac cheese and that was good. The place itself. Eeehhh. The bathrooms were pretty gross. Husband said the men's bathroom was dirty too. I wouldn't visit this place again. Not for the price we paid either (over $167) Server was very friendly.

First time trying Lobstah on a Roll in Boston! The service was awesome and everyone was super nice. The lobster roll was decent -- I went with the cold one (not a butter person), but it was a little plain. The salad was just lettuce and tomato, which surprised us PNW folks lol. BUT the clam chowder?? Absolute star of the meal, it was creamy, flavorful, and sooo good! Great experience!

I got the Bostonian sandwich made cold with mayo - this is WAYYY better than any other lobster roll with butter and also had the Chowdah (we demolished immediately) which is from a generations-old-recipe. I cannot recommend this place enough, it felt like we were having lunch with family or friends that we knew for ages. Very clean restaurant, super welcoming staff, and got to meet the chef too who was extremely humble and friendly. You HAVE to try this place if you're in Boston!!

I absolutely loved my lobster roll here! This restaurant has a prime location on newbury street and sells a very good lobster roll for a decent price. I believe the 4 oz lobster roll was $39. The fries and salad were okay. I wish they put in a little bit of effort to make this spot look cute since it has so much potential, but it is a bit run down unfortunately.

My very first meal was dining here and it was amazing. It wasn't too busy and staff were able to seat my right away - it was a Saturday night too! I ordered the 6oz lobster roll and lobster bisque. The roll came with hot butter on the size so I could control how much went on top. The 6oz was a true 6oz packed with both tail and claw meat. The bisque was very rich and creamy, with plenty of chunks of lobster inside. This was a great first meal and one of my favorites!

Good little hole in the wall place. Conveniently located between all the shops. The prices were higher than what was listed on the menu which is kinda annoying but understandable. I got the lobster grilled cheese and it was really good. Overall good little neighborhood spot. Service was pretty quick- I think we were in and out within 20 mins.

Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Dinos is awesome! And the staff is very kind too (Note that the pic is taken from a train, I like to treat myself to Dino's before catching the Amtrak)

Telling customers "you're all set", etc. pushing customers to leave and move elsewhere as soon as he thinks the transaction/payment is finished. Management needs to seriously educate this cashier that rushing the customers is quite rude and offensive. For example, today, right after paying, I was trying to enter my phone number to collect the reward points (I assume Mike & Patty's has such for a reason, correct me if I'm wrong), the cashier kept on saying you're all set... pushing me to leave. And he even reset the screen so I didn't get to finish entering my phone number. Thus, as a customer, I didn't get what I was supposed to, my reward points--what Mike & Patty's offers--and that is wrong. This is not an isolated incident. Also, see my prior review below about one time when there was actually an error with their payment system and this Bay Village just happened to not accept InKind payment on that day, rather than trying to resolve OR even inform the owners/manager, for that matter, this VERY SAME cashier was like, oh, sometimes it doesn't work la la la, nothing he would do about it (and didn't care really, to this day, owners/manager still never figured out -- see their confused response to my prior review below). This cashier person is rude, rushing, and doesn't give much effort or care to his role. Conclusion: owners/manager need to re-educate this cashier person to chill out and leave his rushing to who knows what attitude and his careless I'm just here and do minimal don't give me anything to think about attitude elsewhere. Besides the accumulated frustrations above, Mike & Patty's - Bay Village would be a lot more enjoyable.
