Was craving spring rolls and read good reviews for this place so I thought I'd give it a try. The place was cute and quant. The girl was very nice and helped me right away. I ordered shrimp spring rolls, charbroiled beef spring rolls and lemon pepper chicken wings. Now the rolls were so delicious! Easy to bite and crispy crunch from the lettuce and cucumbers. Now the disappointed part were the wings. They were over fried so they were dry. I might come back to try the pho.

Vegan Bahn Mi? I asked if the bahn mi was vegan. She said yes. I ate it. It was friggin delicious. The end. ***not really? Here are the details: PARKING This place is in the shopping area near Vons. Easy to park. SEATING inside is a beautiful casual space. It was warm out today, but the air con was pleasant. Unfortunately there is no outdoor seating. SERVICE Everything is made to order. If you think your food is coming slowly, I think there are only a few people in the kitchen, and LOTS of take away call in orders. There is a special space for "pick up" to wait in the back. One server. BUSY. Like: "too busy to chat" busy. Be ready with your order. One server at lunch on virtual roller skates getting through the end of lunch rush well. The menu says "vegetarian bahn mi". My receipt said "vegetarian sandwich". Probably just the missing something like siracha mayo? Idk. I asked if it was vegan, they said "yes", rang it up, handed me a receipt and was gone before I asked more about it. It was DAMN GOOD FOOD Bahn mi VEGAN (?) Tofu delicious and soft Bread crunchy outside soft delicious inside Pickles (kinda soft, not so crunchy) Jalepeno (always vary, but today flavorless, no heat at all) PRICE A little high for bahn mi sando, but worth it to support this restaurant's efforts.

VEGAN Menu available! A beautiful high ceiling space and calm ambience. Server "Shazia" was amazing! Tatted cool girl, very informative. Recommended all great dishes she had tried herself. Especially their main attraction "bone marrow pho". Super huge knuckle, meat fall off the bone, super tender and fatty. The soup and noodles are separated in another bowl, best to ask for another plate and remove the knuckle to dive into the meat soup bowl. However, I would not recommend the "curry bites" a bit too greasy, samosa-like fried triangles, just taste like a curry toothpaste in side a greasy fried eggsroll wrap. But definitely tried the spring roll. I had the charbroil beef and it was delicious with the fish sauce. Also come with six pieces, more than enough to share. Overall definitely come and try and order the bone marrow pho.

Love their breakfast offerings on the weekends. My favorite is the Lotus French toast made with white chocolate bread and served with coconut butter. Delicious! Everything we've ordered on their menu - from appetizers to pho to entree meals were top notch. The prices are reasonable and good sized portions. Customer service is great and accommodating! Give this business a try!!

Restaurant is nothing fancy but I'd heard good things about the food so decided to give it a try. Came at opening on Sunday morning and staff were helpful with providing recommendations. There were only a couple of employees working and it was the very start of the day so the sandwiches took a bit longer than expected but we had the time. My husband loved the pork sandwich and said the roll was do fresh it almost melted in his mouth. Great flavor but could've used a bit more spice for him. I had the veggie sandwich and it was fine - fresh roll and ingredients but lacking in flavor. The tofu should've been marinated or the veggies pickled. It was just ok.

Solid place to have some Pho noodles! My fam and I went here after our Universal Studio theme park day. We were exhausted and were craving some hot soup. Thankfully this place opens late and closed from where we were. The place looks fancy when you walk inside, but their prices are reasonable. Their service is good, too.. they really make sure you're well taken care of as their customers. They were just having Pho noodle soup this day.. Idk why but the server told us that in advance before seating down. Of course, we all ordered their pho noodles where they are famous for. I ordered their Oxtail Pho, which included the actual oxtail in it. The broth is good and flavorful. Their meat is tender and easy to chew on. And their rice noodle is a great compliment to all the ingredients. Overall, it is a solid place to go if ever you're craving Pho around this area.

Contemporary interior. Tasty food and friendly services. A good choice after a day at the warner Brothers Studio tour. We tried their noodle soup, vermicelli, spring roll, and pork sandwich. The sandwich is good portion but noodle soup and vermicelli portion is on the small side. The bone marrow noodle soup is also quite interesting. I forgot to take picture of the sandwich since the server forgot to put in order- oh well, we took it togo instead. It is indeed delicious. This restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking in the lot.

What a vibe! I really enjoyed lunch here. Since my office moved to the Burbank area in October 2025, I'm having quite a food journey during lunch. Today I dined at Lotus & Light and it was great! The service excellent. They had complimentary shrimp chips as a starter and it was a nice touch. I had the charbroiled pork vermicelli and opted to add an eggroll and charbroiled shrimp for an extra $4. The portions were big so it probably wasn't necessary but it was worth it. The ambiance was contemporary and upscale. They had nice art, plants, and bar looked lovely though I didn't have a drink. Maybe next time!

This place is really cute and the customer service is top tier. I love that they offer shrimp chips as a starter! I ordered the chicken noodle soup and the spring rolls. They were happy to accomodate my request for extra lime because I love it in my soup! The chicken in the soup seemed like good quality (not chewy or fatty) but it was overcooked. The soup wasn't really hot when it was served either. Spring rolls were good and a decent size! I wanted to like this place more. I came a long time ago and liked it but this more recent trip missed the mark for me. Again, my waitress was lovely and the atmosphere is very nice! I would maybe come back and try one of their beef noodle soups to see if those are better than the chicken.

The pho is good but the spring rolls are amazing. Just a bit hard to eat since everything falls apart after the first bite. That sauce is unique and amazing. A unique touch instead of the peanut sauce that comes out at every other spot.

    Bone marrow pho
    Jennifer V.

Absolutely good service, although there was only one waiter taking care of everything he was keeping up with people dinning in and take orders. I ordered the bone marrow pho, I joked the bone was bigger than the plate but that wasn't even issue . Meat was tender but the broth was bland. After adding the toppings, fish sauce and siracha it gave it a little bit of flavor. I've never had any beef pho whose broth was watery and flavorless I probably would not be going back.

Ask the Community - Lotus & Light

How difficult is parking during lunch?

It's a crapshoot, but in general that parking lot has a lot of spaces. It just depends on far you wanna walk. On a weekend it's worse cause of all the people going to Bea Beas.

Do they take reservations for lunch?

Not sure, but it's easy to get a table when you walk in

What happened to their fried tofu? Anyone have the recipe for the old version?

When will you open for lunch hours again?

    They are open at lunch

Is indoor dining available now? Do I need a reservation?

Yes there is. Reservations are not needed at this moment unless it’s a big party because we haven’t been that busy yet unfortunately.

    Any gluten free options?

    Yes!

Do they have Bun Bo Hue?

    No, sorry we don’t :(

How come they don't have a website to see the menu and delivery service?

There are pictures of the menu on Yelp and they use Postmates for delivery.

Does anyone know if they cater?

I believe they do. Give them a call

    Do they use msg?

There's no MSG in the pho. I asked them.

I ordered chicken breast, and the portions were surprisingly inconsistent. One piece was a reasonable size, while the other was significantly smaller and did not feel like a proper portion. The biggest disappointment was the Caesar salad with salmon. It came with only two very small pieces of salmon--approximately 1.5 ounces total. Honestly, even my cat would have been disappointed with that portion! It genuinely looked like they were down to their last small piece of salmon and divided it between the salad. As someone who is Persian and grew up eating this type of food regularly, I'm very familiar with the flavors, quality, and portions I would expect. Unfortunately, the food this time was well below average, both in taste and value. I would rate the taste about 2/10. It's especially disappointing because I previously enjoyed ordering from Sorta and appreciated having a convenient neighborhood option so close to home. But after two disappointing experiences in a row, I can't justify the price for the portions and quality I received. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. It's very sad that u spend 77$ for lunch for two and not be satisfied

Over the years, I feel like the quality of the ramen has kept up with the times-especially at this particular location. Yes, you are encouraged to SLUUURP away. My new all-time fave is their SPICY CREAMY VEGAN RAMEN. The vegetable broth was flavorful. It comes with tofu, onion, green onion, spinach, crispy onion, garlic chips, garlic oil, chili oil and sesame seeds & served with thick noodles. I customized it and traded the tofu for BROCCOLINI + ADDED A POACHED EGG for a nominal upcharge. 5/5 ***** My other go-to choices (depending on my mood): 1.) PREMIUM TONKATSU RED. It has a richer pork broth, pork chashu, kikurage, green onion, seasoned egg, nori dried seaweed, red hot chili oil and spicy bean sprouts & served with THICK noodles. 2.) SPICY CHICKEN RAMEN comes in a creamy, spicy chicken broth, chicken chashu, spinach, spicy bean sprouts and green onion & served with THIN noodles. Choose your spice level, MILD, SPICY or HOT.
