We go in and there are flies everywhere. They're out of lobster but can do the lobster bisque. We get that and clam chowder. Both were just not good. The worst part was how you could tell they were just so watered down and lacked any substance. I had one small piece of lobster in the bisque. Not only is this place conveniently next to Pike Place Market, but it's also close to where the lightrail lets you off at Westlake station ... the convenience is dangerous! This lobster roll spot not only had lobster rolls, but also shrimp and crab rolls. I love that they have a lobster roll flight so that you can try all three kinds! They also have a good deal called the Lukes Trio which gives you a lobster, crab, and shrimp roll. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside, leaving the inside just soft enough to hold everything together. I highly recommend trying this seafood spot the next time you want seafood read more

Luke's Lobster was the best lobster rolls I've ever had! I ordered the seafood roll flight and it was WOW! They give such a hearty portion of lobster, crab, and shrimp, and each one has so much flavor without overwhelming the lobster meat. I'm not a bread person but this bread felt fresh, very soft, and not dry like my usual experience with bread. The store wasn't too busy and there were plenty of tables available. This review is LONG overdue! What an incredible find! Full Disclosure: I usually try to avoid the massively touristy spots - especially Pike's place (sorry, just not my scene), but happened to stumble upon this cute find on the way to my doctor. Having just spent a few summer weeks in New England doing a lobster roll crawl w/ my east coast friends, I figured there was no way hometown Seattle could live up to the hype. Guess what? Luke's blew it out of the park!! Hands down, the best lobster roll I've ever had (includes ALL of the New England states we've visited for years folks - Maine, NH, Connecticut, RI). Also love that they're a B-corp committed to sustainable practices :) We got a few rolls for the family. Everyone in lobster bliss. The amount of fresh, delectable lobster they stuff into those soft tasty rolls, is insanely generous. They provide multiple options. We tried original (tiny bit of mayonnaise) and warm butter (yuuummmm). Also got a crab roll - nice, but would stick w the lobster folks, it's why we're all here!! Ambiance is nice: modern tables, they keep things clean, high end sides, a perfect spot to drop in and devour some rolls :) Service also exceptional! The team behind the counter spotted my purse that I accidentally left behind (running to make my ferry home). Kept it in their safe for a few days until my next doctor appointment, safe and sound. The location can be kind of sketch and also busy depending on the day (DT Seattle has gotten really bad since pre covid when I was here). We drove up to Seattle for the weekend to sight see and decided to check out Luke's Lobster on the way back to our hotel. I had never been to one before and was surprised by how delicious it was! I loved the vibe of the place, it was super cute, very fisherman chic lol . I saw some signs about their sustainable fishing practices, so I asked a ton of questions to figure out more. Really nice spot with great and fast service. My food came out in about 5 minutes. I got the honey butter and truffle Lobster rolls and the Lobster was incredibly fresh. The honey butter and truffle breading really made the Lobster rolls really good. The clam chowder was fresh as well but I like the soup a bit thicker and this was a bit watery, however it was still delicious. I will stop by this place again before I leave seattle! read more

Luke's Lobster uses ONLY traceable & sustainable seafood. We buy it directly from lobstermen so we can trace it's exact origin back to the very dock it came from! We specialize in lobster rolls - warm buttery & toasted New England split-top buns, small swipe of mayo inside, chilled lobster meat, topped off with a drizzle of hot lemon butter and a dash of our secret seasoning. While we are famous for the chilled seafood, you do have the option to make a lobster roll warm for an additional dollar. We serve fantasic small-batch craft soups and have a curated selection of beers, seltzers, cider, etc avaible as well!

Luke's Lobster is a family-owned, B Corp Certified, Maine seafood business, founded by third-generation lobsterman Luke Holden. Luke's began as a tiny lobster roll shack in New York City in 2009. Today Luke's has shack locations in 10 US states, Japan, and Singapore. In 2013, we opened our own seafood purchasing and production business in Saco, Maine, making us truly vertically integrated. In 2018, we expanded into grocery stores nationwide, and in 2020, we launched our online market, to bring seafood direct from Maine to doorsteps around the country. As we grow, we deepen our commitment to our core values, and keep our small family business mindset, with a commitment to putting stakeholders above profits, as you'll see from our Certified B Corp status. The host told us that we "didn't leave a phone number," even though we were never asked for one and were told to wait outside until she comes get us. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she complimented my shirt mid-conversation, which felt like she was trying to brush it off. The entire time we were outside, we were the only people waiting, and we even saw her setting up the outside seating as the restaurant got busier. She never once checked in with us or said anything. The food was good, and our service once we were seated was great. Unfortunately, our first interaction with the host left a bad first impression and took away from the overall experience. Luke's Lobster is definitely a must-visit while you're at Pike Place Market. I tried one of their shrimp sandwiches, which came with a side of chips, and even though I'm not usually a huge seafood fan, I found it quite enjoyable. The service was very quick and friendly, making the experience smooth and pleasant. Five stars is our anticipation when we arrive?? Our family was planning a Thanksgiving holiday in Maine, but realized many places would be closed for the season. "Luke's Lobster" WAS going to be our first stop in Maine this month. Needless to say how excited we were to find there is a Luke's Lobster in Seattle?? WOW! I was really excited to try Luke's Lobsters, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The lobster roll was bland, and the lobster itself was tough and overcooked. The prices are ridiculously high for what you get, and the service was slow. I expected much better quality for the price, but sadly, I won't be coming back again. read more
