Lobster Roll - Select (6oz) spicy honey butter

I stopped by here just to get something in my belly while at Pike Place. I had ate here in Boston some time ago. I believe this location was fairly new. I decided to go with the 6 oz Lobster roll with the hot honey butter. I wish I had read the menu better. When they offered the 4, 6 or 8 oz I opted for the 6. The hot honey butter was a $1 charge, which isn't bad at all. Though my final bill was over $50(with tip), which seems like a lot for a sandwich. But I get it, it is lobster, so I'll stop complaining. . Overall the bun was fluffy and tasty and the 6oz was A LOT. I can only imagine the 8 oz. I will more than likely come back as I saw both Lobster roll flights and crab roll flights(I think they were around $40. 3 different versions of each. I will say that I do like how everything comes with chips and a soda. Not just the cheap soda either. They had Bedfords which made me even happier. If money isn't an issue and you want a fantastic lobster roll, you will not be disappointed!!!

Food is VERY pricey but my GOODNESS IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! A little too much butter and it made the roll soggy. Next time I come, I'll get the butter on the side. The cashier was very nice AND patient as I changed lobster roll sizes. Ambiance is family oriented. My bill was $63.60?with a very small bag of chips. I'm coming back and bringing my hubby!!

Service was quick. Casual semi fast food dining ambiance. I was really looking forward to it because of all the hype but was sadly dissatisfied. For $30 I would have thought there would be much more flavor. It was pretty bland if you ask me and small too. Im still hungry after finishing the 4oz. I could have got the 6oz but I could not rationalize spending more than $30 for a sandwich. I'm glad I tried it but won't be coming back.

Just got off our cruise ship and had time to kill and happened to walk by Luke's. I decided to try their 1/2 Lb lobster roll and it was excellent! I wanted to try their crab roll also but unfortunately they were out of crab the morning we went there. But I would definitely recommend Luke's!

Friendly service even when you can tell they were busy. Line was out the door. Line moved pretty quickly. I was lucky to get a table. Noise is average and ambiance is nice. I went with the Luke's trio rolls which is 2 oz of meat. Supposed to be shrimp, crab and lobster. Wasn't feeling shrimp today asked if I could swap out the shrimp for an up charge they said sure. Asked for an extra butter. Cause the sweet honey butter had me intrigued but didn't want to commit. I asked for everything to be hot as I'm not a fan of cold crab. This was my only complaint. My crab was cold!!! :( So I didn't finish them and they were so busy I didn't want to make a fuss so I can't tell ya about the crab rolls but the lobster ones were fabulous and the spicy honey butter was fun and delicious. Worth giving it a shot.

A solid 4.5 here, the clam chowder is missing that nice creamy richness. But the lobster roll is on point. But it's not bad, definitely very filling and a lot of lobster in the roll. But I came in for clam chowder and it wasn't to great.

Quick service friendly staff good lobster rolls but they are small so keep that in mind if your really hungry

We each got a roll and split them, so the pictures show half the rolls. The full lobster roll had 6oz of meat in total and it was warmed, which was great. Price is a bit steep but not that surprising. We enjoyed them

Originally I was not sure about the price, but afterwards, I found they give a Very generous servings of protein with the rolls which makes it reasonably price! They do not skimp at all on the seafood. I decided to try the seafood roll flight and glad I did. The roll they come on is also super soft, buttery and DANGEROUS lol. This one hurts to write because Luke's Lobster used to be one of those places I'd happily recommend to anyone visiting Seattle. My husband Jordan and I stopped in today before catching a flight, excited to treat ourselves to one of our favorite seafood meals. He ordered the flight, and I ordered the warm 8oz Truffle Lobster Roll. The first impression was great. The food looked absolutely amazing. The lobster was generous, fresh-looking, and overflowing from the bun. If I had judged the meal based on appearance alone, it would have been a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, the flavor told a completely different story. Everything tasted surprisingly bland. The lobster lacked seasoning, and the truffle flavor that used to make this roll stand out was barely noticeable. I kept taking bites hoping that signature flavor would show up, but it never did. Instead, it felt flat and forgettable. What was especially disappointing is that Luke's has always been expensive--but it used to feel worth every penny. You paid a premium price because the quality and flavor were exceptional. This visit felt like the price stayed the same while the experience took a major step backward. We left feeling let down because this wasn't our first visit. We know how good these rolls used to be, which made the contrast even more noticeable. The food looked beautiful, but the taste simply didn't match the presentation. I sincerely hope this was just an off day because I'd love to see Luke's return to the quality that made it a Seattle favorite. For now, though, this visit was a disappointing reminder that appearance alone can't make up for missing flavor.

Famous for the Rolls... but Missing a Little Something. I stopped by Luke's Lobster and ordered the seafood flight which consisted of 1 shrimp roll,1 lobster roll, and 1 crab roll. It's what they're known for, so I had to try the trio. The presentation was simple and clean, and the seafood itself tasted fresh, but I couldn't help feeling like something was missing. Each roll leaned a little dry and plain, almost like they needed a touch more butter or a signature sauce to bring it all together. The seasoning was very light, which might work for some, but I personally wanted more flavor. For a place that's famous for its rolls, I expected that "wow" bite and it just didn't quite hit that mark. Service was also just okay. Nothing terrible, but it lacked warmth or attentiveness. For the price point and reputation, I wanted a bit more energy and hospitality. Still, it's worth a visit if you love simple, no-frills seafood and want to sample a little bit of everything. Just don't expect bold flavors or much flair. I'd say it's more understated than indulgent.

LOVE AT FIRST BITE. The bread is pillowy soft, the seafood is FRESH. Taste like it just came out the water. The flight comes with a lemon butter, hot honey, and truffle butter roll. Each flavor was delicious but when i bit into the truffle butter roll, I transcended into another universe. SO GOOD. I just recommend having them warm if that's your style! It brings out all the flavor. 10/10 will return. Oh the clam chowder was pretty good too. Just had to add some pepper and hot sauce! read more

The one thing Seattle has greatly and oddly been lacking in has finally gotten that hole filled. You'd think we would have great lobster here but none really did it well. Luke's is legit and yes, I will right up front and say the hassle of going downtown is worth this!!! Yes, it is WORTH IT! Be prepared to spend because good lobster rolls aren't cheap either. I recommend going with the classic hot buttered lobster roll. It's foolproof deliciousness! The lobster bisque came pipping hot and creamy. we tried a few other rolls that came cold which I didn't care for nor the truffled lobster roll which I found to be overly powerful and took away from the lobster meat itself. Just beware that seating can be tight. People generally rotate quickly but it can be a hassle if you're wanting to sit and eat. read more

It was my first time here and food was delicious. I learned that next time I order I want warm sandwiches. They were amazing all the same. The Mac was delicious but I felt that it was small portioned for the price. Even with that being said I'd definitely come back again. The staff there were so sweet in answering all of our questions and when they delivered our food to the table. They explained what each sandwich was for friends who got the lobster roll flight. I saw a tik tok and headed over to Luke's. Amazing. SO good, I got the basic regular roll to try it out. Lobster was great. Bread great. Seasoning great! It's basic and that's what makes it good. I think price shouldn't be a reason to negatively review a business since price is subjective. Lobster is expensive, that's just fact. Go into it knowing that. These guys are doing some heavy marketing to get people to try and let me save you some money by saying it's not worth it. We had the chowder and a small lobster roll. 1. The chowder was bland and flavorless. You can tell just from looking at the pasty broth that it wasn't going to be good. It was basically a few small clams and potatoes and nothing else. Not good at all. 2. The small lobster roll had a fishy odor to it. The bread should have been toasted more to keep the bread from being so soggy. The pieces of the lobster meat didn't have flavor nor enough butter. It was just a fishy smelling, rubbery, sloppy mess. The location is not great. While we were eating, a homeless man came in and basically was standing next to us looking at the pictures on the wall while we were trying to eat. To make matters worse it was almost $34 for the worst meal I've had in Seattle in a while. This place is only a few blocks from Pike's Place Chowder. Do yourself a favor and wait in that line because their chowder and lobster rolls are infinitely better. read more

Food is a 2 out of 10 (no flavor) It's a tourist trap for the most part. Service is fine 7 out of 10. People are nice and helpful in choosing some items Ambiance NA, it's a tourist spot, so you know it's not existing. The other night I was craving lobster. I did a quick search on my food ordering app and Luke's Lobster popped right up. I can't believe this, but even though I've eaten tons of lobster on the east and west coasts, I have actually never had a lobster roll until I tried the one at Luke's. I ordered through my food orderIng app and got my food delivered. I tried the Truffle lobster roll. The food arrived fresh and the butter was put in a little container that I could heat up and then pour over my lobster roll. One bite and I was in heaven. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft and squishy on the inside. There was so much lobster in this little role. It was fresh, tender, and the truffle butter added another depth that was out of this world. Just amazing. The only sad part was finishing the roll and then not having any more left. I felt truly sad...And I thought about that lobster roll the rest of the night, I woke from my dreams thinking about that lobster roll, and proceeded to think about it all throughout the next day. So you know what I did? I decided to order again. This time, I tried the lobster roll flight. Three mini 2 oz lobster rolls. One with the hot honey butter, the other one was the warm lemon butter, and the third was the tried and true truffle lobster roll. Again, they arrived in perfect condition. Presentation was excellent. The bread was again perfectly toasted. The hot honey was what you would expect it to be. Seasoned perfectly with a little bit of sweetness and bite. The lemon butter was what I would consider a classic lobster roll flavor. And then to finish it off, the truffle lobster. And we all know how I feel about that one! I also ordered the 8 ounce tub of lobster meat. I had some this morning on my breakfast eggs. Zero regrets! Do I usually spend this much money on food? No. But it was 100% worth it in my opinion. I will go and visit in person soon. Super happy to have this new restaurant available to us in Seattle, both as a dine in option and delivery. read more

Super expensive for what you get. I dropped 8 bucks on two lobster rolls.... 80 bucks.... Sooo, I got the truffle butter roll. I asked for it warm but that didn't happen. The bread was fantastic, however they really poured the truffle on thick, it was inedible. I couldn't stomach a third bite. I also got the chowder which was under seasoned and basic. Also over priced. My wife got the original butter one. She said it was okay... she got the lobster bisque which was one note. The lobster was all claw meat? So the high standards this lady is talking about just isn't real. I give this place a year before it closes. read more

In Seattle on business, saw Luke's as I exited Target. Asked the first guy I saw sitting down eating "thumbs up?" Definitely! Ordered the 4oz lobster roll which comes with a free bag of chips. 5 minutes later I was chowing down on a proper top split buttered roll filled with fresh plump lobster. I used to live in Maine so I know my lobster rolls and this place is legit. I'd recommend to anyone. Solid 4 stars (I don't do 5 as that's perfection which doesn't exist). read more

Very friendly, quick and respectable service. I am from San Francisco area and grew up eating SF Clam Chowder so I knew I wanted to try Seattle's while I was visiting. This place did not disappoint!!! My group and I ordered a mix of items from the menu and everyone DEVOURED their plates. I ordered the small lobster roll with a small chowder and it was all delicious. You can tell the chef perfected the tastes and this place truly takes pride in their food. My friends and I especially loved the bread chosen with the rolls-- slightly toasted and buttery. My friends had ordered a mix of the other rolls (and said ALL were delicious!) and the lobster bisque (lots of compliments to the Chef for that one, too!!!). We would 100% recommend coming here! The best lobster rolls ever! Came here when visiting Seattle and was so impressed. We specialize in lobster rolls - warm buttery & toasted New England split-top buns, small swipe of mayo inside, chilled lobster meat, topped off with a drizzle of hot lemon butter and a dash of our secret seasoning. While we are famous for the chilled seafood, you do have the option to make a lobster roll warm for an additional dollar. Luke's Lobster is a family-owned, B Corp Certified, Maine seafood business, founded by third-generation lobsterman Luke Holden. Luke's began as a tiny lobster roll shack in New York City in 2009. Today Luke's has shack locations in 10 US states, Japan, and Singapore. In 2013, we opened our own seafood purchasing and production business in Saco, Maine, making us truly vertically integrated. In 2018, we expanded into grocery stores nationwide, and in 2020, we launched our online market, to bring seafood direct from Maine to doorsteps around the country. I was really excited to try Luke's Lobsters, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The lobster roll was bland, and the lobster itself was tough and overcooked. Luke's Lobster offers good food, but it comes at a high price. The lobster rolls were tasty, though a bit on the smaller side for the cost. However, the clam chowder was the real highlight--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. While the quality of the seafood was solid and if you're craving seafood, it's worth a stop. read more

Wow, they're very expensive compared to the other options in town. Completely corporate opposed to the other shops in town, can only be described as a tourist trap. $38.64 Lobster roll that's PLAIN as fuck; why do people crave this place? How are the reviews this high? Place is absolutely dead at peak; that's how you know it's garbage. Just a bunch of employees waiting for something to happen. You're better off ordering $40 of Taco Bell read more
