Both came out in generous portions perfect for sharing and the flavors delivered big time. Fresh, well seasoned, and honestly a steal for the price. For mains, we went with the Spicy Marinara Cremona and the Creamy Jalapeño Pesto. Both pastas were perfectly portioned (translation: you're leaving satisfied, not still hungry), packed with flavor, and had us doing that "silent nod of approval" bite after bite. February 23, 2026 The restaurant decor is really nice and cute -- perfect for pictures. The service, however, was not the best. When we asked a few questions about the menu, our server wasn't very helpful. Maybe she was tired, but I definitely didn't like the energy we received. Food: I ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was good, but there were way too many peas -- so many that I couldn't really enjoy the rice or the meal. It felt more like shrimp fried peas. The peas were overwhelming. I also tried asking about the drinks -- what she recommended and whether one I was considering was good -- but the response I got was basically, "I don't know." I didn't receive a suggestion for that drink or an alternative. Would I eat here again? I'm not sure yet. read more

The ambience is out-of-this-world. I was in a big group and the waiting staff did take a while to collect our orders. One of us didn't receive a drink we ordered and a group that was walking out was saying the service wasn't the greatest. The food, I had the blackened-honey salmon and to drink a berry spritz and espresso martini. The berry spritz was off the charts and the martini had a cute happy face, however the salmon was good, just not the best. Definitely would come here again especially since everyone loved their dishes and maybe our big group was a little intimidating. I gotta try the other dishes and maybe a smaller group. We called to make a reservation and they said it was first come first serve so we arrived and they said we were the first group so they said it will be 20 mins. We then proceeded to wait, 20 mins past, then an hour, then 2 hours. We kept going in an asking and as we did there was tables available but the manager said that was for his friends. 1st time here: food was tasty we had the Naughty fries(shareable) appetizer taste and look like in N out animal style fries only these have bacon in it! Delicious. Main dish: steak al sur it's like carne asada with a garlic butter and a carnitas enchilada( taste good if you like the garlicky oil flavor). 2nd dish filete Los Cabo's with camarón was delicious fish filet with shrimp veggies and rice. Since my spouse and I like spice we requested a taco salsa that was mild spice but added the flavor we needed to our dish! Extremely disappointing experience. The manager handled the situation in a highly confrontational and unprofessional manner. A member of our party was accused of taking a sip from another guest's bottomless mimosa. Initially, our server approached us and explained that "her job was on the line," and we responded with understanding and cooperation. However, approximately five minutes later, the manager approached our table in an elevated and accusatory tone, repeatedly stating that "his liquor license was on the line," without making any effort to de-escalate the situation or address us respectfully. As someone with prior experience working as a server, I fully understand the importance of policies and legal responsibilities. However, this was not an appropriate or professional way to treat paying guests. The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile, embarrassing, and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, as we were leaving, the manager repeatedly said "bye thank you have a good day" in a very passive-aggressive manner. Overall, it significantly diminished what should have been an enjoyable brunch experience. Which is very unfortunate because the food was decent and we would love to return. read more

Luvin this new hip spot tucked away in the strip mall on Bellflower and PCH near the Target. Service was fantastic. Drinks were great. I had an espresso martini. Nice and strong. Prices were good and affordable. The salt and pepper wings were really good and came with a tasty dipping sauce. We had two orders and there were only 3 of us . But the carnitas sliders!!!! Pure fire. so so good. We got two orders of those too. They have guacamole in them so if you're not an avocado fan just scrape it off but the sliders had alot of meat and it was juicy and flavorful. Hubby had a Bloody Mary & I had the Lychee garden. Bloody Mary was on point...well balanced with a spicy kick. The Lychee was too sweet for me even after the bartender minimized the sugar so I switched to a classic skinny margarita instead. You could never go wrong with the classic margarita. As for food, hubby ordered the carnitas enchiladas & I had the Baja fish tacos. Both dishes came with a side of rice & black beans. Both dishes were very delicious. The pork in the enchiladas was so tender & the yellow corn tortilla was soft & tasted homemade. The ingredients served on top of the enchiladas were fresh. I loved the crispy onion strings. For the taco, the fish was perfectly battered & not oily. The condiments on top were plentiful & blended very well together. We devoured our plates except for the rice & beans not bc it wasn't good but bc we were full. We ended up taking the rice & beans home. I've been to a Luna Grill in Orange County and I remember really loving the place. A bit upscale and the staff a little more attentive to us. No doubt the food healthy and good. The restaurant is small but absolutely beautiful, with a warm and inviting ambiance that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. Our server, Maria, was wonderful--attentive, gracious, and genuinely lovely. We ordered from the happy hour menu and were delighted by both our drinks and the three small plates we tried. Everything was delicious--bursting with flavor, super fresh, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay to enjoy the live music that begins at 6:00 p.m., but it gives us the perfect excuse to return soon. I was really excited to try this place. We watched as every person that was sat after us got their food. Our server hardly checked on us and when she did and we asked if our food was coming soon and she would say 2 min..and then 15 min would go by and still nothing. The bistro decor and ambiance were so cute and welcoming. Staff were all friendly. Love the live entertainment- we went on Sunday and someone plays between 7-9pm. Prices were also very reasonable! Unfortunately the meals itself were not amazing. I had the grilled fish with shrimp but the fish was fried and battered. Also everything was drenched in butter. That was the theme across all our ordered items. My husband and son ordered the steaks and my son felt inclined to eat his veggies because of how buttered the steak was. That was a first! I couldn't finish my fish but also didn't need to box up leftovers, it was just too heavy.
