Ever since we found out about this place 2 weeks ago, I think we've gone about 5 times. I love the soursop tea & i hope it stays on the menu. Its the only thing I get here and I am obsessed. Its so good and refreshing. Parking can get bad on the weekends but its just something you have to deal with when you're in OC. Customer service is okay, depends on who you get. Ma Juicy has become one of my favorite places to get pennyworth juice. I've been to their other location and this one is my second favorite. However, they are slightly closer to me so I come here more frequent. I love anything off their pennyworth menu. My favorites include #2, #3 and #9. But honestly they are all good and I love that they have so many options. They can make pennyworth juice by itself, with coconut milk, milk foam, ube & taro, durian, mungbean, and avocado. I like that all of their drinks can be customized too. You can do less ice, less sugar, and add more toppings. Besides pennyworth drinks you can also get coffees, smoothies, other juices, and milk teas. They have unique flavors that other drink places do not have. The staff always are very knowledgable and help us pick out our drinks. They answer all our questions and currently they have a promo for buy any 2 drinks and you get a free wintermelon tea free. I'm a huge pennywort fan so I loved that this place existed. There's all kinds of combos with pennywort juice and sugarcane juice. The store itself is tastefully cleaned and decorated; it felt very SoCal to me. The service was decent. My dad was a fan of the sugarcane and coconut juice. Both are tasty on their own so it's a no-brainer to combine them. I got a heavy drink, which was pennywort juice with milk and taro. The taro chunks at the bottom were starchy and chewy. It was so dense that I felt it could be its own meal. My brother got chrysanthemum tea with milk. It tasted so good, and I may be biased because that's my favorite tea. We got three drinks so we had one free small pennywort juice on its own. The drinks were all on the sweeter side. I like having the pennywort flavor shine through, and this felt masked by sugar. It's a little hidden in the corner but parking was pretty spacious. We got their founders favorite drink: pinky milk tea. It's a milk tea that uses agar (crystal) boba and honey boba. You can taste the honey on the boba which was very good and the crystal boba was a perfect contrast to the chewiness of the honey boba. Also notice that the customer after me left with her 3 orders before I got mines. Cute little Viet cafe! I was in OC to return some wedding rentals and discovered this cafe. The service was great and I was recommended with the popular drink #7 and it was really enjoyable. Stumbled upon this place by accident and it was the most pleasant surprise!! First off the inside is soooooo cute!! The decor and furniture are a Pinterest dream and I love it. There are plenty of seats so this is perfect for studying (there's free Wi-Fi) or catching up with friends I got the pinky milk tea 50% sweet and I loved how creamy the drink is! It came with both regular and agar boba as well as sea salt cream. Excited to try other of their specialty drinks bc they all look really creamy and delicious! Lastly, in terms of service: 10/10!! The worker was sooo nice and helpful bc I was overwhelmed with the menu at first and he suggested some stuff to us. I ordered the number 7, which is the Pennywort Juice with Mungbean, Coconut Milk, Pandan Jelly, and Coconut Pudding. I absolutely loved the drink! I chose the default sweetness level (75%), and it was perfect for my taste. It's the first place I've found that lets you adjust the sweetness in pennywort juice--usually, this is only an option for boba drinks. If you're unsure of your preferred sweetness level, they even offer a sample cup so you can find the right balance. The toppings--pandan jelly and coconut pudding--added a delightful extra layer of flavor to the drink. My new stop for pennywort when I'm in the area. Make sure to visit and take advantage of their buy two get one free deal in the meantime! This spot was in a jam packed plaza so it was difficult to find a parking space. The staff members worked quickly so if needed, drop someone off for the orders and it'll be out soon enough. There was an expansive menu of milk teas, coffees, and pennywort combinations. Although I typically reduce the sugar level, I found the 100% level to be perfect. The washroom was available upon request but there was trash everywhere and definitely needed to be cleaned. Especially given my visit was during lunch time, I wouldn't want to use it later in the day. =ORDERED= Pennywort is an acquired taste, resembling a grassier herbal juice. Although I can drink it plain, I suggest newcomers to try one of the more elaborate mixes with coconut and mung bean. #6 Pennywort Mix Mung Bean Coco/Crunchy Boba/Pandan: my favorite of the bunch ordered. The mung bean and coconut added some sweet creaminess. The pandan was subtle but this combination made for a delicious, healthy drink. #9 Pennywort Mix Ube Coconut Milk: loved how chunky the ube base was. The ube wasn't overly sweetened and the coconut milk added the right amount of sugar to the overall drink. Would get this again for an earthier and starchier profile. #17 Pennywort Mix Avocado/Pandan Jelly: personally wouldn't get this again since the avocado layer was thin but this would be better for those wanting a purer pennywort taste. The Pandan jelly was primarily for the smooth, chewy texture. Perhaps this would have been better with coconut milk so the avocado would mixed better. Never thought I'd leave another low review for a place, let alone the same place as my last 1 star... Well..... I came back and tried their pinky milk tea and just a basic jasmine green tea hoping to redeem the gift card given to me but the cashier tried to use the gift card multiple times saying it was invalid. This was my first time trying this location. I first heard about it on instagram. I was super excited to hear that there was a store that made pennywort drinks and had to immediately try it out. Parking was alright as it is in a busy plaza with a lot of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The store itself is very cute and had plenty of tables, great place to study or chat with friends! The mix of durian was very strong and masked the pennywort flavor but it did help make the drink sweeter if you're not used to the pennywort flavor. As for the pandan jelly, I did not like it as much and wished I had just got #19 since it would've been the same drink without the pandan jelly. The jelly was a weird texture and did not really add much flavor to the drink. Overall, I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars for aesthetics and uniqueness.
