Ordered for pick-up on Grubhub. Went in before order was ready, obviously expecting to wait, and spoke with a female worker at the register. Me: "My order's probably not ready." Worker: "No, it's not ready yet". Me: "Ok, I'll wait out there (pointing to their empty table outside in front of the clear glass) " Pretty dramatic exchange, huh? Yet very clear. So how was I to know my order was ready? Certainly not from her!! I would still be waiting until they had to call a coroner to take away my dead corpse. Absolutely horrible. I have been near this Marcos pizza my whole life but the service this past month is really horrible. I had placed an order for ONE SINGULAR PIZZA and about an hour later, the pizza was still not there. I had called them twice, and finally they had answered and said that their driver came and then left. I proceeded to ask why and they said because the gate was not open and I had told them that it was and then they said that the driver tried to call me, but I had no missed calls. they then they then told me that they would not be able to deliver the pizza to my house when it was three minutes away. I said OK and went about my day, and ordered from another pizza place. About a month later today I tried to place another order and I guess they had put me down as saying that I had a fake order order. That is the ABSOLUTE BIGGEST LIE I have ever heard. Have been ordering pizza here via delivery for a while. Stopped by in person last night and had a great experience. The person who helped me was Sebastian. Fantastic customer service. Answered the couple questions I had. Was very polite. He said it would be abt 8 min so I stepped out and sat in my car while I waited. I had said, "I'll be back in a few to grab it." But instead he brought it to me when it was ready. It's small little acts like that, that make for a nice experience. He didn't just put it on the counter and let it get cold. Really nice. This is probably one of my favorite pizza places that I have ever been to! We ordered their extra thick crust pizza. I am a fan of a plain cheese pizza so we got cheese and then got all three of the seasoning options for the crust. It was incredible to say the least! Their dough was perfect. Yes, you guessed it: olives. Overall the pizza was pretty good. The mushrooms they use make it somewhat soggy however, but the crust is good, and was the best part of our meal. So "HOT DEALS" are list of specials with great prices and not so great taste/quality. I ordered the specialty pizza (under HOT DEALS) along many regular priced items. The pizza was absolutely PATHETIC. Hardly ANY toppings & TINY and I mean TINY pieces of factory-cut looking feta cheese. Who knew there was government feta cheese? I don't live in Sherman Oaks, but when I come and visit my honey we order Marcos. Where do I begin....the pizza is delicious, fresh, and perfect. Each time we've ordered the pizza we haven't had any issues. I usually get the chicken pizza with the four cheeses and bacon and he gets the all meat pizza. Both are out of this world!!! Its so good we both sit in silence and enjoy heaven.....yummy yummy yummy! Also the chicken wings are also yummy. Cooked right and thoroughly to the point where you can eat it down to the bone. I haven't had any issues with those either. Another thing I love is that each time we have ordered, the driver always finds there way to our apartment which is on the third floor. I freaking missed Marco's when I moved out of the Midwest. I thought there were literally no locations out here but I found a few and one of them is in Sherman Oaks. It's a 30 minute drive, but heck, it was worth it. When I moved out here, I had to resort to chains like Papa John's, Pizza Hut, or Domino's.
