Stopped by for lunch out in Long Beach with the Oakland Ballers. Ended up picking Marinate Korean BBQ and decided on the Bulgogi Burrito. This was an instant hit. Full of flavor, spicy pork with kimchi, jalapeños and fresh added ingredients. The sauce had a great kick to it. Very impressed from a fast food joint. Service was very quick and friendly. In an open fast food market style location with plenty of options. Vibe is full of different folks looking for some great food to eat.

Solid place! Alexa helped me out and was super helpful in answering my questions. Big portions, and relatively cheap price. My tofu bowl ran me $14. Great service!

So patient and love that it's all fresh and quick! Thanks! It's so delicious and I crave this so often.

This burrito was large and in charge! So many flavors. ... It's super filling high in protein and delicious!! At first I thought $20 for a burrito. And that's a little steep, but now that i've had it, I think it's worth it.Because you could easily turn one burrito into two meals.

Food is good. Workers are helpful. Prices are ok for the hanger. Sitting just outside.

Food: honestly the food was really good and the portions were good. Service: they were friendly and helpful since it was my first time there Ambiance: it's inside a food court plaza which is cool because you get to explore other restaurants The price is understandable still a slightly on the pricier end tho

Best Bulgogi Burrito in town--an absolute must-try if you're craving something bold, flavorful, and unforgettable! Head over to Long Beach Exchange (LBX) and treat yourself to this perfect fusion of Korean BBQ and burrito goodness. Packed with tender, marinated bulgogi, fresh veggies, and savory sauces wrapped in a warm tortilla, every bite is satisfying. The vibe at LBX makes it even better--great food, great atmosphere, and plenty to explore. Don't miss out on this hidden gem that will keep you coming back for more!

You can sit outside and grill your own food or dine inside and have the BBQ brought out already cooked. I chose inside tonight because, honestly, I went out specifically so I wouldn't have to cook. LOL. Our server, Kelly, was fantastic. Super friendly, great recommendations, and she guided us toward ordering family‑style so we could try a bit of everything. And yes, Korean food also means Soju. We had the Jinro Peach Soju, and it was dangerously easy to drink. I sipped, but it definitely goes down like juice. Service overall was perfect. Even when Kelly stepped away, other staff checked in just enough so we never felt ignored or constantly interrupted. It was that ideal balance you hope for but rarely get. We arrived before the dinner rush, and I'm glad we did because the restaurant isn't very big. I can only imagine the wait once things get busy. If you're craving Korean food, stop by. There was zero delay in service and everyone was very nice. We ordered a honeydew Melona smoothie with soy milk and a taro smoothie with whole milk. Both smoothies were so delish! A server informed me which banchan was vegan and which was not. We got the vegan dumplings and that was very tasty! A server helped us cook the meats and he was so kind. He dished out our meats on to our plates when it was ready. We loved the vegan garlic shrimp and the fact they were tailless. I wish we could've bought the vegan meats and/or banchan to take home and grill. I finished off my little bowl of white rice with the sides and savory meats. We took our leftover vegan bulgogi and spicy chicken with us. The next night, I put my vegan bulgogi in tacos. It was just as good as before! We would definitely come here again! This restaurant was on my radar for a while and I'm so grateful we finally tried it!

I made our reservation weeks in advance as a Father's Day surprise for my husband but from the moment we arrived, everything went downhill. Our waiter was unprofessional throughout the entire experience. The first thing he did was insist on giving us a handshake. It wasn't a normal handshake it was extremely firm and uncomfortable to the point that my hand actually hurt afterward. It also felt inappropriate considering we were about to have dinner. As soon as he walked away, my husband looked at me and asked, "Did he squeeze your hand too?" I said yes because he had done the exact same thing to both of us. It immediately created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. When we ordered our appetizers, we asked if our crab cakes could be prepared the way we've always ordered them during previous visits. His immediate response was, "Not today." He gave us a lengthy explanation about how they were too busy because it was Saturday. However, we've dined here many Saturdays before and have never had an issue. Eventually, he agreed to accommodate the request, but by then the interaction had already left a bad impression. His overall attitude and demeanor made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. He came across as rushed, dismissive, and almost as if he felt he was above us. We felt pressured to order before we were ready. When we asked for a little more time to decide on our entrees, he seemed irritated. Later, when we decided to order another item, he again gave us a hard time. At that point, we simply told him, "Never mind. We'll just stick with the appetizers." The entire experience was uncomfortable, and the negative energy completely overshadowed what was supposed to be a special Father's Day celebration. I spoke with the manager and explained everything that had happened. While he apologized, I left feeling as though my concerns were being dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. At that point, we decided to leave because Father's Day was already being ruined, and we didn't want to spend the rest of the evening feeling uncomfortable. Thankfully, we were able to get a table at RH Ocean Grill in Newport Beach, where we enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day dinner that lasted until 10:00 p.m. They completely turned our evening around. It's disappointing because we've always enjoyed dining here and have had many great experiences in the past. That's what made this visit even more surprising. It's unfortunate that such an important occasion was overshadowed by poor service, an unprofessional attitude, and a lack of concern when we brought our experience to management's attention.

I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. No gimmicks, no theatrics, just the steady hum of a grill that's probably seen more lunch rushes than most people have had hot meals. The teriyaki hits first -- simple, slightly sweet, familiar in the way comfort food should be. Chicken grilled with enough char to remind you someone actually stood over flame to make it happen, not a microwave or a shortcut. Portions are generous in that unspoken way working-class spots understand: you don't leave hungry, and nobody's trying to sell you nostalgia on a plate. What stands out more than anything is consistency. In a world where restaurants chase trends or reinvent themselves into oblivion, this place feels anchored. The kind of neighborhood spot that survives because it has to -- because people actually come back, not because it's marketed well online. The space itself carries layers of history. You can still feel the old identity underneath the newer polish, like a building remembering what it used to be even after a remodel. That kind of continuity is rare. It's not fine dining. It's not trying to be. It's lunch, dinner, and everything in between for people who work with their hands, clock in, and just need something reliable that doesn't waste their time. And sometimes, that's the highest praise you can give a place like this: it shows up every day, does its job, and doesn't pretend to be anything else.
