I rarely write bad reviews. But every time we order from this place at work they just can't include all the sauces we are prompted to order online, if any are even included at all. I have tried to write to them and received no response. The food is good but honestly without the sauces it is a fraction of the meal. We even started carrying a ponzu at work for when they forget the sauce because they so consistently drop the ball. I think the next step might be to just order from somewhere else. Seems like such an easy thing to get right, it's mystifying. I even put "Please do not forget sauces, thank you!" in the comments! And they also frequently forget the fried egg add on, today all four of us ordered the fried egg and three of us got it and one didn't. The mushrooms I asked for are missing. The grapes? Not there. They really need to take the time to read the orders well or they will start to lose customers. Hopefully somebody who can make this change reads this. read more

I am vegan and this is BEST vegan Korean bowl. When some one asks me what my favorite place to eat is, I say Marinate Korean BBQ. Although this store isn't mainly directed at plant-based eating, They do have tofu option and it's BOMB. Too hungry to remember to take a picture. The bulgogi burrito was very delicious. Perfect size to share half with my dad so I can add the habanero sauce on the side. Hit the spot. Had a great Bulgogi Bowl last night. It was huge and had a great ratio of rice to meat. The veggies were awesome and The bright green sauce was tasty, with some, but not too much heat. Ordered the bulgogi bowl. To me bulgogi should be a rich flavorful semi fatty cut of beef with a nice sweetness. The meat had very strong charred flavor essentially leaving me with a sweet charcoal bowl. To be honest once I walked around the corner and saw the baked on marinate drippings on the grill I was already a bit concerned about the meat tasting burned. I really wanted to like this place since it would be a quick local food spot for kbbq but I was definitely underwhelmed. read more

This is basically California Gogi Grill in Irvine minus the authenticity of Korean food. I was super excited try the food here so I stopped by after school to get some lunch to bring home. I tried the Kimchi Fried Rice and the Spicy Pork Bowl. The employees weren't very friendly, but that didn't really matter. What mattered was how terrible this food was!!! The rice in both dishes was so dry and overcooked and there was barely any kimchi in my KIMCHI dish. The spicy pork had a nice flavor but was burnt. I was also disappointed at the lack of banchan to top my essentially, bibimbap, with.
