We were staying at the Hilton Resort in VOC so Miley's was very close. We were interested in menu as they had the traditional breakfast options my husband migrates to and a large Mexican breakfast options which I love. It was so good the first day (I had the chorizo Huevos Rancheros) that we came back the next day and I got the chorizo and eggs breakfast and had read must try their hot salsa. It was a spicy green chile verde and very very good as well. The only complaint I have is we were there on Valentine's day and the servers brought the woman a red rose and I never got one.. ambiance is nothing special your typical strip mall little cafe vibe. read more

This is a gem. It's a diner with a very unique Southwest flair. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and coffee. The Salsa Verde they use is restaurant-roasted Hatch chilies. The peeled chilies are shredded and made into a green salsa. The salsa had a good medium heat and delicious flavor. But any hotter and it would exceed my personal "Da Bomb Point". I had the good judgment to order sour cream to cool it down. The combo was perfect heat. The big surprise was the pinto beans hidden under the Pico de Gallo--wow! Seriously, wow!! The service was fast, friendly, accommodating and fast. Great crew. The interior is playful with a long service counter feature tractor seats in addition to a variety of tables and country decor. read more

Any place that serves refried beans should automatically get a 1-star review, so I am being generous here. Their menu has a lot of variety, so if you get something without refried beans, then maybe it will be okay. I ordered their chilaquiles. What I got was a plate of refried beans with some scrambled eggs thrown on top. If you can think of a more unattractive ingredient than refried beans, please tell me what it is. Plus, it doesn't taste good and is not particularly healthy for you. And I'm not being too picky either. I make chilaquiles at home some times. But I use black beans, avocados, cilantro, etc. It is pretty and tasty when I make it that way. Miley's Cafe is also dark and gloomy inside, so the atmosphere is not a winner either. They do open early, so that is commendable. read more

Random stop for lunch on the way south out of Sedona. Honestly I stopped because I saw parking spots for my RV van at this shopping center. There were a couple Italian restaurants, including a pizza place, but I saw Miley's Cafe and cafe's tend to be more my style. I also saw 2 tables off to side of front, one littered with a finished breakfast and I thought that looked promising for the dog and I. Went in and the place was bustling. The owner greeted me and told me I could sit outside and he'd have someone come out right away and take my order. YES!!! Lots on the menu, but I opted for a Mexican cuisine lunch. Flour tortilla crisp with jalapeños, and the Mexi combo, a little of everything. Also ordered some Turkey bacon for the dog. Quick kitchen service and some outstanding food was brought out. MILEY'S CAFE caught our attention since we wanted to relax and get something to eat while our car was charging there. Wow, I'm so glad that we decided to try it out. Our breakfast was fantastic with generous portions. I felt like Wonder-Woman afterwards (strong & ready for a big day in Sedona). I ordered the "BASIC" (2 eggs: any style, fries or hash browns, with biscuit, muffin or toast. $13.99) Everything was awesome (exceptional quality, cook, presentation & flavor!) My eggs were a perfect sunny side up, and the TWO servings of hash browns were crispy on the outside, tender inside. I chose the homemade biscuit instead of toast (which was fluffy & crumbly, a little different from a standard Buttermilk biscuit). It was really good, but I'm thinking that the muffin might be the best. The OJ tasted so fresh, and I loved that there was a nice big glass of it. Make sure to look behind the counter for the SPECIALS board. My husband ordered the Waffle Special that came with 2 eggs (any style) & sausage or bacon. You can check out my photo of the large waffle with two yummy syrup cups, eggs & bacon. (I sampled it all; it was perfectly cooked and delicious.) There are also breakfasts way more adventurous like Huevos Rancheros con Chile Verdi, and they have a large lunch menu. (I think that their hours are 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM.) The restaurant, kitchen, grill & even the bathroom were flawlessly clean. I was so impressed with everything, and I really look forward to stopping in again the next time we go to Sedona. read more

We were out hunting and decided we wanted to eat at an actual table. This was the closest place that was open. It just so happened to be one of the best Mexican breakfasts we have ever had. Stopped in at Mileys for breakfast this morning. We have heard nothing but good things about this local Mom and Pop restaurant so we definitely wanted to stop in. I'm so glad we did. We were greeted immediately upon entering and they were super busy. There were five party's ahead of us but we were given the option to sit at the bar so we did. The menu is plentiful with the normal breakfast options as well as vegetarian options and also Mexican breakfast options as well. Yummy! I had a feta and spinach omelette and I husband had over easy eggs with sausage and hash browns. Our order food was great. Fresh and portion size was on the larger size. We visited Miley's Cafe about a decade ago and decided to check them out again today for breakfast. We were surprised to be seated right away Saturday morning and quickly had our drink and food order taken. Service was phenomenal and we never had to ask for anything. The location is pretty small, but didn't feel crowded. I ordered the chile verde omelette with a biscuit and hash browns. I love chile verde anything and will try it on just about anything. Today I ordered it on the side because I was told it was pretty spicy, but when it arrived I didn't feel it was too hot at all and dumped it all over the omelette. It was definitely delicious and while it had a bit of a kick I didn't find it too spicy to enjoy. The biscuit was so light and fluffy. We also enjoyed biscuits and gravy. One of the better biscuits and gravy we've had at a restaurant. The place was clean and not too loud which made our meal a great time to chat too. I'd really like to give a shout out to the family that runs they place: they are the salt of the earth and provide the friendliest service ever! I felt the love here - like I was sitting in their home, and I wish I could give every one of them a big bear hug. My server read my mind... I always like to order something sweet and savory for breakfast (I didn't even mention it, but he did), so he recommended a huge Ranch breakfast platter: pancakes, eggs, papas, and bacon. It was mighty tasty and I didn't leave hungry. This is especially poignant, because some of the Sedona restaurants are on the hoity-toity side, which isn't a bad thing, but sometimes you want to grind on some tried and true dishes without thinning out the wallet.
