Had dinner tonight at the new reimagined Milts Diner. Had the fried chicken dinner that was fantastic. I love fried chicken and this chicken was much better than I've had in a while. Juicy and flavorful. Margo, our server let us know the chicken was marinated overnight prior to being breaded and fried. The sides were excellent also. My wife loved the Basque soup and the fresh sautéed vegetables. Service was fantastic and we were treated like friends coming for dinner. I will definitely be back to try some other Milts classic dishes. read more

This Korean waffle and chicken knocked my socks off. It's probably the best I've ever ordered. The chicken was nice and crispy. There was a sauce on the chicken that worked well with the maple syrup. I think the menu has been revamped because I've never seen this here before. Service was great. read more

First time at Milt's. I'm on a business trip and wanted something close to our hotel. Milt's was perfect! Home cooking all home made. Everything was fresh and delicious. Famous chicken dinner and New York strip served with fresh homemade soup or cold crisp salad, potato and dinner roll. Service from Mercy was perfect. She did an excellent job. Service is terrible. Got here about 1:15pm family of 8. Tables dirty and didn't get seated til 1:45pm and got sat in the back where no one can see us and ordered our food at 1:55pm and didn't get served our food til almost 2:30pm. I would not come back to this location. Management here also doesn't even care. I've worked in the restaurant business all my life and I would now say I've been to the worst restaurant ever. read more

Another visit to Milt's. We go at least once a week. I generally get breakfast but today I got the Milt's Old Fashion Burger. Let me tell you, it was delicious! Had a side salad instead of fries, very fresh. McKenna was our waitress, she's always great and very accommodating. We went at 2pm so wasn't packed, had a nice visit with family and enjoyed a great meal. read more

We've been going to Milt's for years. We continued to go there for breakfast and lunch when it switched to Old River Grill. We just had a late lunch there today and was surprised to see it had switched back to Milt's. The menu also switched back to the old Milt's menu. Just had dinner there ten of us and the waitress was using some hand held computer that she had no idea how to use and took her forever to get our orders. Then the people at one end of table food arrived 20 minutes before the other end of table people were finishing food while others hadn't even gotten a bite. The worst part of the dining experience was we told the waitress which person was with whom and she kept putting everyone's orders on the wrong ticket she must of redone our tickets five times each and then they weren't right so we gave up paid and left. Terrible service we will never be back !!! read more

Milts is one of those old-school diners that you cannot really find anymore. It's easily the cleanest restaurant I've ever experienced and I travel coast-to-coast working. The food was outstanding. The weight staff is incredible and they went the extra mile for me so I've been back three times now I would highly recommend Milts for any breakfast lunch or dinner. read more

We've been here a few times now. It is often a five star experience, and it is often a 3 star experience or worse. The same food item can be wonderful one day and just OK the next. The service is the same way. They do have very comfortable seating. It is pretty close to the hotel we stay at, so I will be back, and if you go there is a better than 50/50 chance you will be very happy read more

This used to be Milts, they serve the greatest chicken fried steak in California, BUT since the new ownership you need to request it "grilled" to get the famous Milts version. Service is friendly, quick and amazing, food is hot, fresh and delicious and comes out very quickly and now the expanded outdoor seating allows for quicker seating on the busy weekend rush hours. I will start by saying Old River Grill is a great restaurant. However, i was very disappointed when we lost our favorite restaurant for fried chicken. I am happy to say Milt's is back, cocktails and all! The fried chicken dinner was just as good, if not better than it ever was. We even made room for the mini coconut cream pie with an Irish coffee for dessert. Great food and great service. Very happy to have one of our favorites back! read more

There is toss-up between quailty of food and services. If you do pay a visit, you'd be mesmerized by the hospitality you get. It truly is home away from home. Staff, especially Margo will attend to you at like no other experience you may have had. Then the food comes. The taste and its freshness is second to none. Truly to die for. They bake and cook everything at the location. For our stay not only we were cared for by Margo, nonstop, the GM, Becca stopped by to check things out. Yum! Even though it was lunch, the breakfast choices were too good to pass up. Took me awhile to narrow down to 7 and finally chose the Cajun seafood omelette. Tasty with some of the best hollandaise sauce I've ever had. Hashbrowns cooked to perfect. The biggest bisquit with gravy I've ever seen. Excellent food with generous portions. No skimping on anything. Waiter excellent and refilled my tea even though it got busy. Will be back soon. read more

Milts is one of my favorites, I'm here 3 days a week. Every worker here are super nice, and down to earth. The food is comfort food. . Anyone who complains are nuts , if there is something that you don't care for, please let these hard workers know, they don't know and make a horrible review, we are going to have a problem. This place is for people who work there tail off for many years. There are some customers who are nice to the people who work here. . Which makes me feel I'm at home. First time tying this place and definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Placed a to go order at 10:07 and was told it'd be ready in about 20 minutes. Arrived at 10:34 and didn't get the order for an additional 20 minutes. After receiving the food, it was cold and missing one of our orders (but the sides for the missing item were). The food was okay, nothing to write home about. Especially considering the price was more than most diners in town. I'm sure I will give this place another shot in the future, solely because of the word of mouth of many people. read more
