I don't ever write food reviews because I have become a food snob over the years but this place is hands-down the best breakfast in town. No, I am not kidding. I have passed this unsuspecting gem a million times driving around running errands. I finally tried it as a recommendation. Inside is completely renovated and the staff are warm and friendly- it almost feels like I've been here before. I order the chile verde omelette and it hit the spot for something spicy but not overpowering. My daughter had the cinnamon pancake and it was so yummy. Terrible time frame for food to be served; over 1 hour! If you have a larger group (10 or more), go somewhere else!! They sit you outside under high speed fans!!! And you get to pursue servers to ask when your food will finally be ready! Definitely NOT what Milt's used to be!!! read more

Ambiance is that of a chain restaurant. No life or anything. The service is fine but sometimes you will have to flag your server down. My aunt and I went a few weeks ago on a Sunday after church(I know it's busy on that day and time). But we thought just two people shouldn't be that long. We got seated right away. But our omelets took 1 hour and 15 minutes to come out. The omelets looked small wish I took a photo but we were so hungry. They tasted okay. But probably won't be back for breakfast. My only problem was I felt the roast beef used in French dip was a definite drop in quality in the beef found in the roast beef at Milt's. BLT was average. Soup was ok. Bread on the sandwich was extremely dry, not sure how that happens. Service was fine. My issue is the iced tea is $4 and the sandwich was $16. Aren't 100 teabags like 3 or 4 bucks? I had two teabags worth of iced tea? BLT at Country Kitchen on E Brundage is $9.99. The menu offers many choices and one of a kind selections! The coffee was fresh (and I drink decaf). Our waitress Margo was a delight and attentive to our needs. I ordered the Gingerbread French Toast since is was one of a few holiday specials. I asked for "over medium" eggs and they came underdone with the whites still runny in parts but the waitress offered to replace and being that my French toast was plenty I declined. She then revised my bill to reflect the undercooked eggs. My friend ordered French toast, eggs and bacon off the lighter fare menu. She said her meal was piping hot and delicious. We were not rushed and not ignored even though we stayed longer than necessary (We would have left if the table was needed though). We enjoyed our visit and the staff were cheerful. read more

Waitress was top tier , but to pay $19 and change for a warm piece of fish (2) and some warm fries + coffee is a bit much , which is my bad , I though we were going to Milts , didnt know they sold out , this food is as bad as the Ming ave place , well , there is always Denny's , Im pretty sure Coffee is not $4 a cup there , or across the street at Hodels , which now seems to be a better choice at this area in the future , and a big zero on truck traffic , which should have been my second clue. read more

we were concerned when we realized this was no longer milt's coffee shop. but dear reader, do not share our hesitation! what an absolutely delightful experience. we came here near the end of service on a saturday morning and ordered two specials- korean fried chicken & waffles and the chimango eggs benedict (on sopes!) with homemade salsa. good lord. everything was phenomenal. the carnitas? moist and tender and flavorful. the refried beans?!?! i died and ascended to heaven. we received great service from everyone including our server Margot. she was kind and attentive and pleasant to talk with. we will be back, with regularity :) read more
