Never responded or called me regarding the matter.

I was told by Justin I would be getting a call from the manager to get some card details regarding a comped Uber as my vehicle was repaired for a thermostat. Upon arrival, my car was still not blowing any hot air. They kept the car an additional day and a lady at the cashiers desk told me herself that she could not order me an Uber, and they could comp me. Never once did I request this on my own and thought it was nice. I had ran my car for 25 minutes (in their parking lot!) upon arrival and the thermostat was still not working to heat my car up. I noticed right after my paper work also only reflected 5 miles added to the car when it was actually well over 50. Not my first time getting a repair on one of my vehicles, and this particular issue did not require 50+ miles to be added. They disguised this additional mileage as "standard" and said they fixed it on their end, but I am yet to receive a copy of that as well. The repair done does not require the car to be driven much after repair as this was not a brake or suspension related issue. I understand running the car for my particular issue, but this whole situation was very odd as I own other vehicles and this issue has never happened to me in regard to mileage. Why make a promise to a customer and then ignore them after, too? Really odd business practices. I did go ahead and file a report to the FTC because although nothing can be done to remediate the mileage, this particular dealership needs to be investigated for incorrect paperwork reflection and shady practices. Push a lot of simple maintenance on you, too. No greeters and no one approached me once when I picked up the vehicle, as well. Took a while for me to realize the cashier was not talking to a customer, but a coworker. I'd recommend visiting another MINI in the Chicagoland area.

The waiting area for service is the best mini service waiting area I have seen. During non Covid times there was a complimentary omelette station. There are complimentary snacks and coffee/tea/ice cream. They also have a separate room with a children's size table. There are also electrical plugins and space to work from a laptop. I've always had a great experience getting my mini serviced at this location!

I purchased my new Mini at the Glencoe location last week. I called ahead to see what the current procedure would be and if it was necessary to make an appointment. Not necessary but recommended and the friendly sales associated welcomed me with exactly the car I described on the phone. The entire transaction was smooth, friendly and very professional. I was especially delighted about the sales process not being pushy and being at any point oversold. Drove off the lot a few hours later and I love my new car.

Living in the city, with a small garage spot and hardly parking options, I knew I was in the market for a subcompact car. After going to 3 VW dealers looking at a Golf, 2 Honda Dealers looking at a Fit, I was exhausted and decided to put out ONE more call into Glencoe Mini (they had GREAT Google reviews!) I live in the city, so getting up to Glencoe wasn't easy without a car, so I called and was put through to Michael McGuire, fast. I gave him all of the details, communicated mostly through efficient texts and got the starting numbers I needed to keep moving to a baseline. I drove up to the dealer after getting a couple quotes from competitors and met Michael. We definitely vibed quickly, and he was certain he could meet me in my budget and get me into a Mini I loved. I had a smaller budget, and they only had a few cars that fit.. they didn't end up being the right one for me. After my test drive, I pulled back into the lot and I saw one out of the corner of my eye that I WISH I had, but knew I couldn't afford. Ultimately, and after some luck, Michael managed to get that exact car in my hands, and I knew I was a LUCKY gal having the option to drive this car everyday.  Ultimately, the whole process was exhausting, but after walking into the PRISTINE dealership, meeting Michael and being myself in a car that couldn't represent me more, I wish I would've started here in the first place.  THANK YOU Michael and team for making my first "city car" come true. Cheers to Walter White!

    1) We loved working with Michael, he's a great and honest guy. Led us in the right direction without being the least bit pushy or "salesy." Everyone at the dealership was nice and their Covid safety guidelines were in place. 2) We love our mini! There's nothing else that compares to it out there! 3) We HIGHLY recommend buying from MINI of Glencoe, don't go anywhere else for your MINI!

He was efficient in locating the right car and made the whole process feel smooth and straightforward. What stood out most was how helpful he was in answering all of our questions--knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to. It made a big difference in what can sometimes be a stressful experience. Highly recommend asking for Julio if you're looking for someone who is attentive, efficient, and genuinely helpful.

I brought my BMW to Fields BMW Northfield on January 15, 2026 for a recall. The car was running…read moreperfectly fine -- no noises, no issues. During the recall, they broke a VANOS bolt and had to remove the oil pan. While the engine was open, I agreed to replace the eccentric shaft sensor and paid ~$700. From there, the experience went downhill. They claimed my axle threads were damaged and quoted me $1,800 -- despite zero prior symptoms. After I pushed back and contacted BMW NA, they suddenly "fixed" it at no cost. Then I was told the car was ready. Within minutes of picking it up -- still on dealership property -- the engine developed a loud, aggressive rattle. I immediately returned it. What followed was a constantly shifting explanation: "metal in the oil" "just scratches" "failed bearing" "previously disassembled engine" "not our fault." At multiple points, they leaned on "prior mechanical condition" and ownership history, even though the car ran fine before their work and failed immediately after. That timing speaks for itself. It also took far too long for management to get involved. Early communication felt dismissive, and I had to push repeatedly just to get clear answers. The story kept changing depending on who I spoke to. At one point, I was told I needed to pay for a full engine replacement. After weeks of escalation and involving BMW NA, they shifted course. Final outcome: * Used engine (~93k miles) * 90-day warranty (engine only) * $1,100 out of pocket Yes, the car now runs fine. But that doesn't excuse how this was handled. This felt less like a transparent diagnosis and more like an effort to avoid responsibility until pushed. And as a final detail -- I picked up the car with the gas tank basically on reserve (~11 miles left). I'm not expecting a full tank, but after everything, that level of care says a lot. Bottom line: the car is fixed, but the process was inconsistent, reactive, and difficult to trust. If you service your car here, document everything and be prepared to advocate for yourself.

I ended up going to a few, including where I originally purchased my vehicle, but they all low-balled me. CarMax offered me the most, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how much they gave me. Not only was I happy with their $ offer, but their customer service was top-notch. What a well-oiled machine! Their purchasing process is very structured, and the staff member who helped me was efficient and kept me informed about what the steps were and how much more time it would take. I'm thinking I was in and out of there within an hour. I left VERY happy and highly recommend this location to everybody.

Sales side was solid: Tabitha communicated well (including a title delay), and when I came in, Dean and Christian had me in and out in under an hour. No complaints there. Service/conditioning was a miss. The car was handed over unclean dusty, no basic wipe-down, nothing. When I asked for it to be cleaned, it wasn't taken back for a proper wash/detail. Instead, a tech did a quick, partial wipe-down with a rag and sent me on my way. That felt careless and below dealership standards especially for a vehicle being delivered to a customer. I ended up paying out of pocket to get the car properly detailed elsewhere. Shout out to Detail Doctor!! Aldo! I'd still shop CarMax for the buying process, but this location needs to tighten up its service/conditioning before delivery. It's a basic expectation.

While the name has changed because it used to be Loren to now Napleton the sales staff at least remains very nice even though they've all changed. The service for a Hyundai has also changed drastically. They no longer wash or clean your car before they return it. There's no covers or protections on the inside around the steering wheel or even of the seat when the Porter drives your car around. The service team barely picks up the phone even during regular working hours. And most recently depending on who I spoke to at the service department I had different answers for the same question around duration of a repair and service that I was bringing the car in for. What keeps me coming back at my car has some free service that comes with it and the fact that I really do like Hyundai I think Small improvements could definitely make this place really shine, especially since it's located in Glenview. Yes I'm sure there are people who can afford more expensive cars and still choose to buy a Hyundai. But why compromise service and quality and the client or customer experience simply because the car price point is a little bit lower. The waiting area here is also decent so no complaints there at all.
