I ordered a build your own through door dash. The salad was huge and so filling! The flavor was great, and all the veggies tasted very fresh. If you want a healthy lunch, Id definitely recommend.

I placed an online order of the Mandarin salad for pick up a hour in advance. When I arrived to pick up my order was not ready. The cashier was able to find my order in the system but was not sure why my salad was not made. I waited about 15 mins where she made my order in between the long line of customers she was checking out. The salad was OK, I love the organic veggies, chicken and sauce was fine. Very expensive for the portion size. I paid $18 for this. However I love that you can customize your salad if you're counting calories.

If you're looking for a fresh, healthy, and satisfying meal in downtown San Francisco, look no further than MIXT! Our group tried an assortment of their salads and warm bowls, including Dave's Taco Bowl, Bachan's Bowl, the Mediterranean Bowl, and some build-your-own creations--every single dish was packed with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The staff was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and helping us customize our orders. The restaurant itself is in a prime location, right next to the 4th Street Marriott and within walking distance of museums and other attractions. The area is clean and safe, making it a great spot to stop for a quick yet nutritious meal. MIXT offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and we appreciated how well-maintained the space was, including the restrooms. They also have a great selection of cold drinks to pair with your meal. Fair prices, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere--this place checks all the boxes! We'll definitely be back.

Been to this location multiple times. It may not have met my expectations before, but now it has! Great salad (quantity and quality), amazing staff(as always), clean restaurant. I will never get tired going here.

I ordered the Mandarin salad here, and it was a very large portion size, but it was mainly lettuce and filler vegetables despite the fact I paid extra for grilled chicken as a second protein in addition to my main protein, the marinated tofu. I'm not a dressing person and usually don't add any to my salads, but the dressing that came with the Mandarin salad was pretty good, and the dish really needs it for more flavour. This isnt the best or worst salad I've had, but I'm glad I tried it.

Me and my husband felt all the nastiness in our mouths after eating the salad. Specifically we ordered the "mandarin". We didn't even finish the salad and had to pack for the environment. Ofc still hungry afterwards. He had to eat a Sumo orange to wash down all the nastiness. 1/5 for MIXT. 5/5 for Sumo.

This restaurant is located in an outdoor courtyard just outside the Marriott hotel (near the Contemporary Jewish Museum). The setting is modern and inviting with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. There was no wait to order on a Sunday afternoon, with hardly any customers in sight, and service was sufficient. The mixt crispy was a pretty good chicken sandwich. The condiments actually stood out to me, the pickle slices had a strong tangy flavor and I really enjoyed the herb mayo. The sandwich as a whole was satisfying and unique. The mandarin salad was large in size, filled with lots of fresh ingredients and juicy delicious chicken, my bf couldn't decide where to stick his fork, too much good stuff in every bite.

Move aside Sweetgreen! I really loved MIXT and the experience eating here. Good: - The protein rice here was surprisingly good - Loved the customizability of the bowl - especially liked the sauces and the protein options - I got avocado and also the cauliflower and all the veggies were delicious - Great portion sizes for the prices Bad: - Lots of people inside so pretty noisy - Pretty casual experience, nothing special and counter service Overall really like the options here and would come back

Small portions for the money and bad customer service.

My review is to provide feedback to Mixt management to improve the customer service and food portion. As a regular customer of the Berkeley Mixt location, I have experienced a decline in the portion sizes. It has never had, IMO, good customer service. If you order to go, a small size of bread comes with your order, but you have to request it. They should at least ask you if you want it. The staff is not necessarily rude, but they look cold and unfriendly. I'm attaching a photo of my last visit. It's time to spend my money in any of the many food places in the area.

Crispy cauliflower was rather soft. Not fresh at all.

This is just a review of their crispy cauliflower since I didn't try their salads. Do not get this item. I was thinking it would be freshly fried, but it was just sitting in a bucket that they then dumped onto a plate. It was soggy, and most of it was just batter. For about $7 per order, they are making a killing for such an abomination. Even the dipping sauce wasn't too tasty. Service was nice, and overall, the establishment is clean, but please do not get this item.

Amazing food, absolutely excellent table service by Corbin (who was basically a one-man show!)…read more The food was tasty! And special mention to the jerk sliders. Highly recommended. I just felt like some of the entree prices were overpriced. On top of that-I wasnt aware of the 5% SF "tax". Other than that-pretty happy all around. Weird to say it again, but the service was above and Uber awesome. And that is a big deal to me. We were too busy enjoying our food and forgot to take pics

SERVICE - located in the Castro district…read more- street parking can be harder to find especially on a weekend or Friday evening - expect a longer wait if you do not have a reservation - service is friendly and interacts with customers at tables and bar - food served relatively quickly - ambiance good for a semi formal meal MENU - global inspired shareable plates - all vegan/vegetarian - average price FOOD - pineapple tofu skewers (8/10): two skewers stacked with pineapple and tofu cubes with an adobo glaze. This was a great appetizer to share between 2-4 people. The tofu is soft and chewy while the pineapple is crunchy and fresh. The glaze on top is slightly spicy but pairs well with the sweet pineapple. The portion is a good size for an appetizer and the tofu makes it feel like a substantial dish. - roasted cauliflower (8/10): charred cauliflower florets on a bed of sikil pak topped with pickled onions and cilantro. This was my favorite of the dishes we ordered. The sikil pak is a unique spread that I had not seen before. The main ingredients are pumpkin seeds, tomato, and habanero, with the texture of a hummus but the flavor of a salsa. It is also a good size to share as an appetizer between 2-4 people. - garlic butter udon (6/10): udon coated in garlic butter with macadamia nut crumbles on top. This sounded good but was a bit of a letdown after the appetizers. I was hoping for more unique flavors or textures. An addition of something fresh like a pesto drizzle or roasted tomatoes may have added a boost of flavor and color. - kale walnut pesto rigatoni (7/10): rigatoni with kale and walnut pesto topped with blistered cherry tomatoes. I liked pasta better than the udon. The pesto was creamy yet fresh from the pistachio and lemon. The tomatoes added color and sweetness. The portion is good to serve one person or shared when mixed with other dishes. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes, though I would order more of the appetizers and I liked them better than the entrees.
