Choice of side was chips, coleslaw, potato salad, etc. I had potato salad/ it was good- a little bacon in it and perfectly seasoned. My sando came out toasted but they forgot the cucumbers! Our server brought me out sliced cucumbers so I added them myself. They were a little thick. I did not know but you can ask for pickles and they're free! They dropped off a large jar of pickles. Only two of us wanted them and they toss them if you don't finish them, so I took a few home. I only ate half my sandwich. Ir was super meaty. I recommend it! And the potato salad was a hearty scoop. I can't believe all of that was only $13 plus tax and tip. What a deal. Our food came out all together and didn't take forever. We sat. We ate. We charted. A good time was had! Today I got the Legend (their version of an Italian sub) for the first time, and it might be my new favorite there! Very good, not too much or too little meat, but good value. The free pickles they give you to start are another highlight - they are always tasty and the perfect way to start lunch! Had I been told upfront that each refill would be charged as a new drink, I could have made an informed decision. Transparency is important, especially when customers are being charged multiple times for the same beverage. I hope management considers clearly communicating their refill policy to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future. In addition, there was a mix-up with our starter. We were served tuna poke nachos instead of the spinach and artichoke dip we ordered from the starter menu. The triple que was nice that it came already sauced, and it was my favorite of the meats. The brisket was a bit dry, but the tables have four sauces from which you can choose. It was disappointing that the city sampler states that brisket is included, but we had to pay $3.20 extra for it, especially since it was just okay. The tables were nice and clean and had plenty of napkins.
