The good: online ordering for pickup is easy peasy. Employees are friendly. Store is clean and well organized. Table for grab and go pick is convenient. Pizza is very yummy. The ok: I'm looking at all these photos online with the toppings loaded (the works). I'm looking at my pizza and thinking hmmm maybe ordering online not so good as they skimp on the toppings. Burnt crust and slightly burnt bottom. To be fair, I didn't choose a lot of veggies. I got a gluten friendly (gluten free) crust, garlic rub, dairy free cheese, chicken, bacon and onion, swirl of bbq sauce. The chicken is so tiny like a few 1/2 inch length pieces per slice, bacon is a few measly crumbles. Not impressed here. For the price and what's on this "pizza" it's lacking. It's more like a flatbread. It is my first time here. If I choose to come here again, I will go inside and point to what I want. I'm hoping for better success that way. read more

First time trying MOD pizza tonight & it was delicious I'm normally not a pizza crust eater but this crispy thin crust was delicious. The service was beyond excellent I accidentally left my wallet & called the restaurant. Shabar answered me and said it was there & they would hold it til I got there. (They were 5 mins from closing". When I got there Grace, another employee said "We found your wallet! :)" I received my wallet the same way I left it. These two wonderful people showed an example of hard working, & trustworthy employees. I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

Absolutely fabulous service! I'm not sure his name but he had short blonde hair and I think a bandana on (forgive me if the pronoun is wrong) BEST SERVICE I've had in a very long time. We ordered mega dough and cauliflower crust make your own pizzas, salad, fountain drinks and the no name cake. Super fresh topping and the sauces had tons of flavor. The no name cake is an overpriced ding dong but WAY better and so worth it! All the staff used gloves and masks and they had hand sanitizer in several areas. They serve you the fountain drinks and use a new cup when giving you a free refill. The establishment was very clean and we felt very comfortable (and safe) dining inside. Just had a pizza and it tasted old, you know like made with old ingredients. The crust was not good at all. I ordered it to go so I wasn't able to bring it back to notify the staff that the pizza wasn't good. The service was also something to be desired. They workers moved like they didn't want to be there and weren't sure what they were supposed to be doing. All in all I probably wont be back I'll find another spot to go to. read more

Stopped in for a bite after cleaning our classes out. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was so amazing! They were friendly and so patient. The prepared our food with care and a smile. Their cooking process seems to be off sometimes as I've noticed that sometimes people who ordered after me got their food before me. I really hate to do this, but this MOD location needs to get it's act together. Major difference from my previous visit. It was hard to watch the new untrained staff member make our pizzas. He asked if we wanted olive oil, and when we said yes, he said he had to ask if it went on before or after the sauce. I asked for non dairy cheese, never mind the fact that he had no idea where it was located, he used the same gloves with regular cheese on it to dip into the bucket. He asked for help for every step of the way and his coworkers seemed irritated. Finally, someone steps in and takes over. We get our pizza and the bottom is burned. We usually love MOD. During the pandemic it was amazing being able to order via the app and just walk in and grab the food. As of late, the quality is deteriorating. See my pic below.... A critical element of pizza is cheese, as you can see they do not agree. All 3 of our pizzas had extremely little cheese on them. The sad part is we requested extra cheese on all 3 of them. I would hate to see what one of their pizzas looked like when they did not request extra cheese. *** I don't yelp a ton, and would have happily left this on the MOD app if there was a way. Every time we come in here the Mod team is great. You can actually see that they like working together. Makes for a great environment to eat in. They are all friendly too! The pizza is a great size and they have more toppings then any of the other design your own pizzas have. Toppings are fresh, you can even see how fresh while creating your masterpiece. Great Mozarella! A definite must! They bake it to perfection, just a bit crisp, yet still chewy. If you like, they will finish it off with a flavor drizzle when it comes out of the oven. Oh! Rushed here after reading their hours of operation. Got here at 9:45pm and the guy working rudely closed the door on my face, i tried asking him just so i know for future what there hours are . He said we close at 10pm and rudely walked away. Its very unprofessional and inconsiderate not to honor your hours of operation. Be kindful of peoples time. What a wonderful discovery, MOD Pizza! After a busy morning of running between Orange and LA Counties, my step-daughter and grand baby decided to stop off at this MOD Pizza in the newly built/former McDonnell Douglas (or maybe Boeing) LBX area. To our extreme delight, we enjoyed creating our own yummy, thin crust pizza with all the delicious ingredients to whet our appetites properly. Not only were we famished, neither of us had tried this place and were thankful that we did. Our pizza started with my grand-baby having the "Maddy", which is just cheese and the sauce. Delicious and tasty for the baby. Next, my step-daughter created her own wonderful pizza with chicken, olives, spinach, onions, bell peppers, a garlic base and red sauce. I started with the Mad Dog, minus the sausage and pepperoni. I added the garlic base with red sauce, pesto, plenty of mozzarella, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and a sprinkle of dried thyme/rosemary/oregano...oh my goodness!!! We enjoyed the crispness of the crust, the freshness of the ingredients, and the overall ambiance of a busy Friday lunch hour mixed with lots of hungry aerospace workers, shoppers and regular folks like us, looking for delicious vittles at a decent price- we found it! We witnessed all of the workers diligently working to keep the line moving. They swapped out their gloves and I didn't see any poor food handling practices- it was a bustling time with everyone keeping busy. The staff were attentive and polite. Julia came to check how our food was and when we told her we were first timers, she asked if we tried their shake, we told her we had not and she offered to whip us up a complimentary shake, just let her know which flavor...so chocolate it was and WOW!
