I love Modern Market so much that I'm excited to see it all over when I travel because I know I can eat delicious, clean and healthy meals here. I stopped in for lunch right after landing and unloading at our hotel. I had the build your own bowl and got my husband the salmon Cesar salad and banh mi sandwich. Everything was delish! I used to love Modern Market but recently have not been getting the same portion sizes and have a ton of missing ingredients. When I report these issues, literally nothing is done to rectify their mistakes. This has happened at three different locations and it's like pulling teeth trying to get my money back or even just store credit. I think their customer service could use some work- I ordered a Thai coconut salad and over half the ingredients were missing- including the coconut. I have called and reported online and I am just ignored or given an unsympathetic sorry. I will no longer try to eat at any location and get better value for my money elsewhere. read more

The entire reason I bought my sandwich was so that I could have a small bag of chips with it as it specifically says on their menu. Needing a quick dinner without wait service, my friends and I went with Modmarket on a friend's suggestion. They have gluten-free options and the selections are simple with basic and healthy ingredients, which I liked. I wasn't very hungry, which is why I went with a half order of the BBQ chicken pizza. Which was a perfect amount of food. The crust was a bit burnt, but the thin dough was good. My friends got a selection of pizzas, sandwiches, and soups. One friend got the chicken breast plate, which he said was good but wasn't anything special. His mac and cheese side looked kinda mushy and weird. I liked the seating, although about 70% of it was high tables with stools with backs on them. As I like to say, "youthful" seating because it takes more effort to get in and out of tall chairs. It acts like a Panera Bread where you order and pay at the counter when you first walk in, given a buzzer, and pick up food at window when ready. I had two stop-ins whilst in Denver. When I arrived in the city, I found it from my hotel and went to get a late lunch. I ordered a half sandwich: the Arugula Mozz and half salad: Thai coconut. As a vegetarian, I ordered the spiced tofu as the protein instead of chicken. The peanut mango dressing was so good and made for a tasty salad! Stopped in the next morning for breakfast and ordered the Market Scramble which had broccoli, caramelised onion, and white cheddar; had a side of roasted potatoes as well. I was surprised when I walked in when visiting Denver. Seems like fast food, but good food, so on my first visit I looked at the menu and decided to keep looking for other options. The next morning I did some Yelp searching for healthy breakfast and Modern Market popped up so I decided to give it a try. First off, the people were patient and very helpful as I tried to find something to my liking on the menu. The pictures on their menu screens are so enticing that I opted for the avocado toast with a side of eggs and bacon. Of course, after I ordered I saw their steel cut oatmeal with berries and granola, which looked amazing but stayed with my original order. The avo toast is off the hook great and reasonable at $4.75. Eggs were perfect and the bacon could have been more crispy but the food was great. So the next morning I ordered the oatmeal using their website and it was off-the-hook great and the food was waiting for me and was still hot when I took it back to my hotel. Now I haven't tried lunch yet, but each day when I walked by at lunch, the place was packed. Highly recommend Modern Market for good food, fast and at a reasonable price. Life is too short for bad food! Give it a try and I hope you have the same great experiences that I did!! read more

* 3.5 stars * I stopped by with a group recently and the cashiers were patient with us as we took our time to order. We liked that there were plenty of seats and how clean the restaurant was. We did not like that there was no beer on tap [only cans]. Also, random members of our party got $5 off for no reason but not all of us .. we weren't sure why but good for them! The pizza was bigger than expected and healthy enough but the plates were too small in my opinion. To be fair, the sweet potato mash and mac and cheese were delicious .. but again, there wasn't enough on the plate! Rating rounded up to 4 stars because the employees were very courteous and prices were reasonable. What happened??!! This was my favorite healthy fast food destination when I lived in Denver. But on a recent visit I was surprised to see all the longtime employees gone and the menu completely changed--not in a good way. The salad I ordered was a boring mix of packaged greens, cherry tomatoes,and nasty croutons with an overly salted piece of salmon.The container of dressing tasted like Kraft ranch. What a disappointment. Oh for the days of Wintergreen salads, fresh mozzarella tomato sandwiches, and familiar happy faces behind the counter. read more

This place was so good that I had to come again! So definitely save your receipt to get a discount on your next visit! The first time I went I ordered the Bianco pizza and made it gluten-free. It was sooo good!! If you like garlic bread, you'll love this pizza! The sauce was just perfect! I also enjoyed the taste of the gluten-free dough(which is hard to find). The size was big enough to split with another person. (Unless you have a large appetite, then you can finish it on your own!) On my second visit, I ordered the M'Rita once again gluten-free. I was quite disappointed with this pizza. It was mainly sauce with minimal mozzarella on top. Other yelpers posted their M'Rita pizza being more cheesy. I would not recommend offing this pizza. The dough was consistency as before, but I can't say the same for the mozzarella. This place is pretty casual and I love that they offer organic and great tasting,healthy food! Had a catering order for 20 people today, after 20 mins late we called and driver said they were running a "few" mins late. After 45 mins late we called back. They were unable to reach delivery driver. At an hour 15 mins late they said they didn't know where our food was, still couldn't reach driver, offered to reumbursed us, but did not provide or help us by solving the problem which we still needed to feed 20 people! Great spot for the health conscious, good clean eating. I tried the curry salmon bowl the first time and gave it another shot with the Smokey chicken bowl. Both times the food was good, great in fact, it's filling and doesn't leave you feeling sluggish. Their fountain drinks are also really nice and lots of variety from tea to 3 different lemonades, and various sparkling waters. Only reason I give it a -1 is that the protein isn't cooked on demand, I would've preferred the salmon to be more rare and the chicken to be warm. Other than that the flavor is all there. read more

We came here for breakfast one of the days of our trip. Sunday morning, around 8am, it was pretty empty. I ordered the Bacon breakfast burrito and wifey got the Everything Avocado toast. We both enjoyed our food, especially the green chile in the burrito. I would have preferred that the bacon was crispy but other than that it was pretty good. Coffee was good, workers were friendly. I ate here several times while I was in Denver and even got some at the airport on my way out of town. In my opinion this is a shining star of a local fast food restaurant in Denver. They have organic ingredients, reasonable prices, and fresh selections. I tried the chicken, pulled pork, salmon, and steak. The winners were the pulled pork and the salmon. They have bowls, plates, sandwiches, and a nice selection of ice teas. The service is fast and courteous. Everything tasted excellent, it's hard to believe it's good for you food. The establishment was clean, the service was courteous, and the staff knew their menu items. We went for breakfast and I honestly had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat. I decided to go with a breakfast sandwich and ordered it as the menu stated except without cheese. My breakfast was accompanied by the most delicious mint cucumber lemonade. From first bite to last, it was fantastic. The meal was light and I didn't feel as though it was heavy in my stomach. The eggs were fluffy and the tomatoes were crisp. We don't have Modern Markets in Pennsylvania, so I figured I'd give it a try after reading the menu. We loved the food so much, we actually ate here a few times! I had the chicken basil sandwich and the Mediterranean bowl. Loved both. My husband had the steak sandwich and the barbecue chicken pizza. I would've definitely ordered the steak sandwich myself, but I'm glad the cashier informed me the steak is cooked med rare (little too pink for me!). I had some of my husband's, and it was delicious.
