The food here is pretty good too and they personally give your order to your table which is very accommodating. Cute spot to either get together with friends or study. I've come here on multiple occasions to get some work done because the ambience is great. Low noise level with r&b music playing, spacious seats and tables, and great food and drinks provided. Addressing previous reviews about food, I haven't had any issues as of late. Fries were crispy and soft inside, same with the fish. Parking lot is a tad small, but I haven't had issues finding a spot. Mind the curb while pulling in. Came here on a Sunday early afternoon to get some work done. There was empty tables/ seats, so that was a relief since this place is pretty new. The place is in a small plaza that you can park in. I think parking will generally be easy here. The place is clean. I tried the Jasmine Midnight tea and the Maracuya flower tea (which is passion fruit) and it tasted like it was paired with Chrysanthemum. The Jasmine Midnight tea was a bit too sweet for me. I usually get 50% sweetness, but since it was my first time here, I wanted to go with the regular sweetness to get the full experience! The jasmine flavor was there, but not as strong as I liked because of the sweetness. Next time, I know to adjust the sweetness If you like something tart and floral, the Maracuya tea is right up in your alley. It was tart from the passionfruit, but floral as well. it kinda reminded me of a jamaica tea. Since it was more tart, 100% sweetness actually worked and wasn't too sweet. I think I wasn't used to passionfruit being paired with a floral taste, so it was an interesting experience. The highlight of the experience was the popcorn chicken! The batter was crispy and it came with lots of basil! It came with chili power seasoning on the side and two sauces- ranch and bbq. They were generous with the portion, sauces, and honestly, the price is unbeatable! By 5PM, the place was filled with people and there were no more empty tables. So definitely come earlier if you are looking for a place to study at. read more

Moncha Cafe is such a hidden gem! I've been meaning to stop by as it's so close to me and finally had the chance to. I got their iced ube latte with agar boba and it was refreshing. The latte was a good balance between the ube and coffee and was a nice caffeine fix. I also got an order of popcorn chicken which was delicious. It's fresh, great portion and they actually cook it with basil leaves which a lot of places stopped doing. The inside is very clean and spacious and a great space to do some work in or chill with friends. My only wish would be to have actual boba available as I believe they only offer the agar version. I tried Moncha two days before their Grand Opening! I came across it because it was listed as Hot & New on Yelp! There wasn't anyone in the location when we entered. We ordered on the kiosk. The ambiance is really nice as it is well lit and there are tables with a lamp. I went in and automatically fell in love. It's welcoming and you can also study there. The midnight jasmine green tea is really unique because they use a blue Peruvian corn, which I've never seen anywhere else before! The service was great, and there's plenty of seating! Only one note about the parking lot, don't follow the arrow. 3-4 weeks ago, I made a deadly mistake following the arrow and it popped my tire. Based on previous review, that person claim she popped her tires too and it happen to many other people. The manager said he brought it up to city council too. I think the reason why people popped their tire is because they followed the arrow. A lot of people followed the arrow base on the skid marks on the curb. I think the safe way is to go maybe little bit further than the arrow line then turn into the parking lot. That is my theory on how to not pop your tires when entering the parking lot. You can always park on Valley Blvd too to avoid the whole parking lot too. Other than the parking lot, I think moncha cafe have lots of good vibe, and very kind staff. I appreciate the staff and their service. They make really good boba. I normally get the oolong milk tea. read more

I really wanted to like Moncha Cafe, but overall the experience was disappointing. The popcorn chicken was very dry, with some pieces oddly drenched in ranch. The fish balls had decent flavor but suffered from the same dryness issue. The rice was overcooked and low quality. The fried tofu felt unnecessary since nearly everything on the plate was already fried. Pickled vegetables or something fresh would have balanced the meal better. The drinks were poor. The mango fruit tea had no noticeable tea or mango flavor. The protein matcha was extremely bland, almost watery. I understand protein powders can be unflavored, but there was no matcha taste at all, which made me question what was actually in the drink. The fries were very boring and not good, even with the seasoning options. Service was very slow, though it looked like only 1 person was handling orders, drinks, and food. That part was honestly sad to see and not really their fault. The environment itself is cool, but many people ordered very little and stayed for a long time to study or play games. That makes it feel less like an actual place to eat. If even takeout is slow and low quality, it is hard to see how the business can sustain itself. I drink tea daily, just like others drink coffee, and Moncha Café has two of my favorites, jasmine milk tea and oolong black tea. They sell expired food. Although you can say this is hyperbole, this is the best explaination that I can describe how the food tastes. The popcorn chicken was dry, disgusting, and the fried basil leaves it came with tasted like fish. Imagine how old the fryer oil has to be for it to make the food taste that way. I was impressed how bad the fries tastes, from the cajun flavor to the unflavored fries. The fryer oil must be as old as the business itself. All the drinks are heavily watered down and the taro drink tastes bitter. The service is unremarkable ans the seats are not comfortable. I believe a change in ownership is needed. read more
