Do not go to this business ever. In late December I took my car in for a routine oil change. They told me I needed brake pads and rotors, in addition to some other work. When I left the business, I noticed my car was making a suspicious noise. I called and returned the next morning. The mechanic gave me some bullshit answer about the noise and told me "it would go away." Turns out they failed to replace the radiator cap. Is the engine of my car permanently damaged? It's hard to know, but I had to pay a second mechanic a lot of $$ to do a full work-up of the vehicle. In the meantime, I get to wait and see if my engine is kaput in a couple of months. Why did this happen? All I know is that the manager of the store I went in -- in Henrietta -- spent hours sitting in her car talking on the phone instead of ensuring that the work was done properly. And as others have said, getting someone at corporate to talk to you is next to impossible. read more

Arrived for my appointment and was told there was no inspector on site today. This was a reschedule because I had my car inspected at the Penfield location, spent $900 because the oxygen sensor was triggered and I needed a pipe replaced. Okay, I was told to bring it back. Made an appointment, arrived and was told no one worked there anymore who could do an inspection. Managers at both locations were like "oh well, nothing I can do". The Ridge Rd. manager attempted to schedule me at another location, but only had 2pm today. He didn't seem to understand I couldn't do a 2pm appointment that my time was as valuable. I've called customer service to report both locations, asked the DM to call me. I will never go to Monro again. If I could give -starts I would. STAY AWAY FROM MONRO! read more

I would like to thank Billy for his amazing customer service as well as his crew! Normally I get my custom wheels switched out each winter by Firestone but this year they told me they were unable to take my wheels off as the Allen screws were stripped and could not be taken off my center cap. The thing is Firestone was the only company to ever put on and take off my wheels so they were stripped by Firestone. I was very demoralized to hear this as I am driving to Buffalo for Christmas through the upcoming snow storm and it was crucial my wheels get switched. So I called around in a panic at 6:00 pm to see if anyone could get me in with no notice and after about 10 shops told me they had no opening last minute Billy picked up the phone and made time for me with two hours until close. They told my son his tires had 6mm and passed inspection but his brakes were shot. The tires were almost bald and had a bulge and the brakes were almost new. Called to complain they hung up on me. Will never go back. If you go there ask for parts as proof of issue they lied to me and I have been going there for years. Done with them. read more

I went in to get some pipe work underneath my car and they gave me old rusty scrapped piping and welded it on terribly. I paid around $350 for one pipe cut off and a new one welded on. such a ridiculously high price for a rusty pipe welded on terribly. i personally don't recommend any work from them in my opinion. some practice on welding and not giving me pipes that are about to fall off would've been greatly appreciated but i'm very disappointed. spend your money elsewhere y'all. read more

I went to the shop straight after work. About 5:25pm. I asked the jerks in the front office since the place was empty, if they can diagnosis the noise coming from the driver side tire.
