Our other friend had the salted caramel with toasted coconut, the toasted coconut definitely make that dish. My son had the strawberry with fresh mangos. I wished the mangos were a little less hard and more ripe.

Moo Moo strategically shares a connecting entrance with Maru Ramen next door, and it worked on me as a transition to dessert. I almost decided to not order anything since I felt full from ramen but with reasonable prices and the opportunity to try a new yogurt-based boba drink (I haven't seen many of them in Sac), I thought why not. 25% sugar is the move for Strawberry Blizz ($6.75). It's a strawberry blend with a wonderful conglomeration of flavors between the smoothness of the strawberries, harder textured apples/mangoes, and honey aftertaste of the boba.

I didn't sample the milk or fruit teas but I highly recommend giving the yogurt blizz drinks a try instead.

[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I felt their menu is kinda limited and they didn't really have unique drinks or something that caught my eyes. It was late afternoon so I wanted to get a drink with no caffeine. I got a coconut slushie. It was ok but nothing special. Services could be better. When the drinks were ready, they just placed the drinks on the ready table without announcing anything. Some customers had to ask them if the drinks were theirs.

Decent boba spot to try when in the area. Their short boba cup is unique but ultimately the same amount of beverage as the regular boba cup. The strawberry green tea lemonade is my go to. Be sure to notify them of your preferred level of sweetness as 100% Is the standard. Service is helpful with picking out menu items. This spot has some of the best drinks I've had -- especially their specialty yogurt milk teas. They're fresh, creamy, and so refreshing all at once -- like a mix between a froyo smoothie and a milk tea. We tried a few different drinks, but my favorite was the Strawberry Blizz. We also got the Sunset, Mango Blizz, and Thai Tea, all of which were tasty in their own ways. They're conveniently connected to Maru Ramen, so you can also grab small bites from while enjoying your drinks. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Elk Grove!

Pretty good, I favor the chubby cup size. I think it's cute. Other than that, it tastes like any other ordinary boba spot. It's not outstanding but still enjoyable. Though, I do wish they had some sort of additional cream option like salted cream foam would be nice and also better menus. I've been on a boba kick recently and Moo Moo did not disappoint! They have a specialized menu featuring food and snacks as well. They located in a fairly busy shopping center but there is plenty of parking available and it's easy to spot. Upon arrival I was helped quickly and the had the drink in hand within 5 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside there was seating but it's a smaller grab and go spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the Taro Milk Tea and it was great! It had a generous amount of boba pearls and perfect amount of sweetness (I didn't adjust anything).

I have always wanted to try this place out because it is next to my favorite Ramen shop Maru Ramen. I was 100% happy with the service that I received here. The three people that were behind the register were extremely friendly, very attentive and happy to answer any of my questions that I had regarding the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After my order comma I took look around the space and I will say the ambience was super chill. There were at least about six other people in the restaurant having their own conversation. The music was not too loud which allowed them to hear each other quite easily because I did not hear anyone shouting LOL.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drink itself was superb. I could really taste the freshness and quality of the tea. The amount of milk added was enough to make it creamy but not take away from the tea taste, and the boba made perfectly. I like boba that has a little bit of a bite and that is exactly what I got. Would definitely go back and enjoy another tea from here.

Stopped in randomly with my son after, as he said he'd been here before and that it was good. It's always hard to go to a new boba place as you never really know what to look for or try. So I tend to stick to the usual and go with a Thai Tea but decided to look around the menu this time for something new. My son wanted something simple this time and chose a Thai Tea with brown sugar Bobs, and I decided to go with a Strawberry Green Tea w/Strawberry popping Boba. Both drinks were really good, and now I have another Boba option to try when I'm in the area.

Their cow logo is very cute, staff are patient and friendly when I was trying to decide on a drink. I chose one of the black milk tea with boba, and for $7.60 it felt like it was missing something and or the price didn't quite match the drink and or quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's still worth the try with plenty indoor seating available, where you can work or study or even bring your own card games for example as the environment seemed relaxing with music on the louder side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I look forward to coming back and trying their savory food and or other drinks.

4 stars We've been here a handful of times later in the evening. It's located in the Dollar Tree parking lot east of Walmart near 99. If you're looking for eats & drinks past 8, or any eats in this area for that matter, you will see there isn't much open on that side besides Maru (ramen), Dennys (24 hour diner), and Moomoo. Moomoo offers the typical boba & snacks that you'd expect from a place like this, but the one thing that might set it apart than others is that they guarantee fresh brewed tea daily. For me, I prefer real tea, vs. powder, so it's a little more comforting to me to know that. Also, another thing is they actually take a while to make my items. But that's a good thing, cuz every time I get my fried chicken wings, it's actually very hot, scalding, steaming even, freshly cooked, and tasty. The matcha green tea was good, maybe a little too sweet, but it definitely was on the yummier side. Next time, I may try the roasted oolong or the Earl Grey, my two other go-tos. Most milk teas, slushies, & snow bubble drinks are $3.85. The signature drinks like the Coco Mocha & the Taro Lover which sound a little tasty but are a little more expensive are up to $4.85. The frappes like the Cow Bell & green tea caramel are $4.95. They also have coffees and I don't know if it's a typo but on Grubhub online, the MooMoos Latte is $55.25! Must be some drink! Other nice things is Moo Moo and the noodle place Maru and the same owners, I believe, so you can get food from Maru, which serves super yummy ramen and eat it at Moo Moo while you sip your boba. I like that there's somewhat privacy here in the sense that the corner tables feel like there's more quiet, and less hustle & bustle. This is gonna sound weird but I really love the smell of the floor cleaner when they mop. I don't know exactly what cleaner they use but it's both off-putting and yummy smelling at the same time. They typically mop from between 745-830, in case you're curious. We like coming here for after dinner studying, reading, conversation, and casual meetings. They also have wifi and I see people with lap tops here as well. I see kids & families come in here too. Come and try the freshly fried wings or fries. Super yummy, hot, and fresh.

First time trying this place out and was surprised to see they had a variety of drinks! I got the mango blizz and was disappointed that it didn't haven't a stronger mango flavor, but the strawberry Jammin was really good! I was also told that the honeydew black milk tea was better than the one at snowbee. Overall, pleasant experience with a very nice cashier that helped us decide what drink to get. read more

Decor reminds me of pink berry - little ikea style cutesy furniture, whitewash walls. Music selection is pretty good. The only thing i get there is the Yogurt special drink. It reminds me of my favorite mixed fruit drink from Phoenix in soCal. Sweet, tart, milky, icy, with chopped mixed fruit, YUM! Cost is approx. $5. I wish the registers weren't hidden in the back behind the dining area. Or that the menu board font s so teeny tiny to read. read more

If you're looking for an iced mint mojito coffee, try the one here at Moo Moo! It's so good! And I personally like it better than the one that Philz (Bay Area coffee shop) is famous for. My second go-to drink is the Matcha Green Jasmine Milk Tea- 50% less sweet because I don't really prefer sweet drinks in general. read more

The super attractive spokes-character for this establishment, Mr. MooMoo, was what lured me here. This is in the same complex as Thai Chili & Hokee Poke. Craving meself some Hokee Poke, I turned myself around & moo-ved on over to Mr. MooMoo's to obtain boba. There's a sign near the register showing that if you order a drink with less/no ice, you will receive a cup that is not full--leaving a void for where the ice would have been. I thought that was lame, but I do appreciate their honesty so there won't be any surprises when you receive a drink that's not full. I was disappointed that they did not have an option for lychee flavored snow bubble. So I daringly opted for something different from the usual green tea & mango flavors. For $5.02 (including tax), I got the Strawberry jammin'. The first sip of this brought back nostalgic memories of strawberry swirl mini ice cream cups from the grocery store from when I was little. (The ice cream cups that come in a bag of six & there was either strawberry vanilla swirl or chocolate swirl flavors). I enjoyed how this drink wasn't too sweet. Essentially, this tasted like milk & strawberry jam. After the strawberry jam was gone, it tasted like slightly sweetened milk. When all the liquid was drained away, what remained at the bottom were a few chunks of strawberries that couldn't fit through the straw. The boba was decent, but there wasn't enough of it compared to the milk pudding. Overall, this drink was OK. I'm not sure if I'll get it again though. I may moove on over to visit Mr. MooMoo again if I'm dining around the area & crave boba or dessert. Until then.. Moooo! read more

This is for the MooMoo on Calvine. I'll keep it short. I'm so disgusted with the HAIR I found in my Garlic Noodles with Kalbi. I ordered my food around 6:30pm and drove all the way home, ate more than half (the noodles are really stuck together so when you pick at the noodles it comes off in chunks) . When I went to separate my noodles I found a really long piece of blondish brown hair. I have short black hair so I know darn well it wasn't mine. I'm so disgusted. Tried this place the day after it opened. The decor is cute! The chair and design somewhat remind of the Pinkberry located on Laguna. We ordered the Taro, Matcha, and Thai tea as well ass the Sea Salt Caramel shaved ice. The drinks are just ok but I think a bit pricey for the quality its made in. The shaved ice reminds of Vampire Penguin but it was very good! We had it with caramel, egg pudding, and Oreo. First time trying! Really delicious and clean place; got the yogurt Blizz (YUMMY)! Only thing I would say is I wish the Yogurt drink(s) were more yogurty and creamy; maybe less ice blended because I had to wait awhile for my drink to melt in order to really enjoy it or else it'll be like drinking shaved iced lol. I come here so often with my mom because we love the milk tea here. Got a jasmine milk tea today. As I was drinking and eating the Lychee jelly I felt a hard piece of thing in my mouth. Found a black plastic piece of a thing inside my drink.I can't believe half way drinking my drink I found that and it was in my mouth cause I bit on it. Couldn't even finish my drink. Disappointed with todays drink. Update: Thank you to the owner for messaging me about this. And also one of the workers there that talked to me about it when I went there. They took 20 minutes to make my one drink, just to get a drink with a hair in it. They kept calling orders that came after mine when I only ordered one drink. When I came back for a refund because of the hair in my drink, I asked about a hair policy. The worker answered the question like it was a dumb question. Stopped by here with friends while we were in the area. Tried their thai tea and it was worth every sip. I love their logo! So cute. It wasn't too busy when we got there. We got our drinks within a few minutes. Parking wasn't issue since they're in a fairly big parking lot. The employees were friendly and quick. I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Omg! Been wanting to write a review here and I thought it was already done posting it. Guess I forgot hit continue. I was here a month ago. The two girls I very nice and sweet! I came in with my son. It was our first time. We couldn't decide what we want so cashier told us there is also pics we can look at. Very helpful :) my son picked out strawberry jammin but without the boba and pudding. I got the moo moo milk tea. The boba taste very good. Nice soft and chewy. Good texture. The milk tea taste is different from a lot of places I've tried in the past. But, I like the taste of moo moo milk tea. I like the staff there. I will definitely come back. read more

Ida and I are huge fans of shaved snow. The idea that Moo Moo serves shaved snow and we haven't had a chance to indulge had been eating deep into our very souls. FINALLY, we happened to be costume shopping in Elk Grove the day before Halloween, the traffic was a mess and the stores were overflowing with other last minute shoppers. To say we were STRESSED would be huge understatement. It was time to chill at Moo Moo. Moo Moo is bright , modern, and cow like all at the same time. "Them cows" be white with black spots. Young people were chilling out playing games and enjoying their boba drinks and shaved snow in spacious comfort. We approached the counter to order and were studiously scouring the menu when the owner began to excitedly tell us about their pumpkin cheesecake seasonal special that was beginning the next day. I asked him if I might be able to partake in the cheesecake a day early and he was nice enough to grant my wish. I have had pumpkin cheesecake mousses before that were delightfully light and fluffy but this one was amazingly light, pumpkin cheesecake floating in the clouds light, pumpkin cheesecake heaven light. Next, I asked him about the peanut butter/coffee snow and he enthusiastically told me it tasted like strong coffee with peanut butter being the supporting cast. He was right! It tasted like strong, great quality fresh brewed coffee that was mellowed by the slight peanut butter aftertaste. It was amazing how it tasted strong but light at the same time and the best part was that it was not overly sweet. Ida picked the honey dew melon and it was also very good. It held the wonderful flavor of the fruit like every other fruit flavored shaved snow we have tried. The owner stopped by our table just as were about to finish devouring all three of those wonderful desserts which gave us a chance to asked about the pandan shaved snow. We had never heard of it before. He explained that it was a flavor made from a ground up leave that was often used in other desserts to enhance the flavor. We had to try it. It is bright green and comes with salted caramel topping. The owner wanted us to experience how it took on and enhanced other flavors so he also included toasted coconut flakes on the side. The flavor of the pandan snow by itself is impossible for me to describe but what was amazing was how it took on a completely different flavor when the coconut was added. I really want to order it again to see how it tastes with other toppings. The atmosphere is bright and cheery, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and the staff was friendly as well. We are looking forward to a return visit in the near future. read more

Great place! My favorite is the mint mojito coffee. It's always perfect. Not too sweet, just the way I like it. I have tried their mill tea multiple times before, it was good as well. You can get the drinks in the stubby cups. read more

They get points/stars for their decor, cute cups and that's about it. I've been seeing this place pop up in my feed and I was so excited to try it--since I'm a boba addict and all. Their Yelp page says it's closed but I saw someone tip that it'll say close but it's actually open. I called to check and no one answered the phone. I was in the area so I stopped by and it was open! Sigh. Grey is one of my fave colors so I was in totally awe as I walked in. I'm loving the white/grey theme, which helps this place stand out with all the new little tea shops popping up in the area. As I walked up to order, there's no actual register to ring up your orders. They have a cheat sheet of prices+tax, calculator and a notepad. *scratches head* I ordered a Black Tea with Sea Salt Creamer with boba and a Jasmine Green Tea with Sea Salt Creamer. When my drink came out, I had a puzzled look on my face because it looked more like a Milk Tea than a Black Tea with creamer. I questioned if it was the correct drink, the girl behind the counter took the drink, looked at my receipt, passed it back to another round of people to observe and then gave it to me, complimentary, while they make me a new one. After 10 minutes, they call my order to which my replacement drink looked exactly like the drink I was just given. By this time, I've already spent more time than I should waiting so I just left. When I got to my car, first sip and--WHAT DID I JUST DRINK?! I have a sweet tooth but this was like sweet beyond sweet. I let it sit for a bit while I drive, hoping the ice will dilute it. When I got home, I handed my friend her drink and she had the same reaction. She doesn't like sweets very much so this was definitely no bueno for her. I sat in my dining room and kept trying to figure out what it tasted like. Then, it came to me. Overly sweet cereal milk. I am sad to say that this is the first time in my boba consumption history that I've never finished my drink. This broke my little boba heart. read more

This is the newest milk tea spot in Elk Grove. They recently had a soft opening, so the wife and I decided to check it out. The place looked nice, but was lacking TVs. I've been to a handful of new milk tea spots in the bay area and they all look like lounges. Most of the time, they are playing music videos and it gives the place a trendy vibe. Moo Moo is currently a cash only. If you want to check it out, bring cash. I am sure they are working on getting a POS. They had a lot of different drinks on the menu and it was hard for me to decide what to drink. The girl at the front desk recommended the Moo Moo milk tea. We decided to order that with boba and grass jelly. When we got our drinks, they were much bigger than we had anticipated (not that we were complaining). At first sip, I was indifferent towards it. I was hoping for a stronger tea flavor, but was not getting it. I was unsure if they used powder or brewed fresh tea. I highly recommend brewing fresh tea because that is the newest thing right now and it taste much better. The boba was nothing to rave about. It wasn't hard, but it was also too mushy when you chew it. It had a weird consistency to it and I was not impress. I think they need to cook a bunch of different batches and find a consistent texture to the boba. I didn't try anything else, but looks like they also have shaved ice. I will have to try that out next time. I wasn't sure if they had food, but that would be a great idea. It would be great for customers to grab a drink, get some snacks, and hang out. WIFI is a must as well. It encourage guests to stay longer and possibly buy more drinks. I did not notice any board games of entertainment. A small investment, but it worth it for the customers. Overall, I feel that this place has potential to be a popular spot in Elk Grove. I love moo moo!!!! If I could give them more than five stars I would. I was very happy to hear they were coming to elk grove because most boba places that actually brew their own tea are kind of far away from where I live. So I will definitely be coming here often for my boba fix. Now for the bulk of the review....the here service was really great. The staff were really friendly and were all smiles during our stay which was really nice! Who really stood out to me was the owner, Andy. He went around occasionally to talk to his customers and make sure their experience was pleasurable. When he came around to us, he actually gave us a complimentary shaved snow! It was milk tea flavored and was really delish/ packed with flavor. As we were talking to him he was explaining how the interior design was only 60% finished which was surprising because the place already looks really inviting and nice. As for the drinks, my group got milk tea, green tea, and the thai tea. All of which were pretty good but I would have to say that the original milk tea was definitely the best. It was okay to me. Maybe I was not in a good mood that day. I ordered the Strawberry Snow with Boba. Nothing really spectacular. When I entered the place, it was just way too noisy with the music blasting. I find it really nerving as when I am looking for something to drink on a hot day, I am actually wanting to slow down and cool off. Loud music really doesnt help. I can tolerate all kinds of music as long as it doesnt hurt my ears. The taste of the drink was okay. It wasnt anything like I could brag about to friends to try it out. In all fairness, I can tell people that it was "okay". I drank the whole thing and was cooled down. Not bad. read more

That probably isn't very hygienic and it's sad to see that's how things are handled behind the scenes here. I just happened to look over from our table and was pretty disgusted. Moving on, I hope these guys shape up because the quality and taste of food was actually bad. I have a lot of expectations for this boba place since I've heard so many good things about it through friends. After I tried their milk tea, I decided to write a review about this place since my first experience with Moo Moo was awesome. Some reviews here on yelps are very biased and don't let them discourage you to give it a try and taste it for yourself. One thing Moo Moo stands out from other boba place is their daily brewed tea which something they are very proud of. You can taste their tea when you order a milk tea. Black tea goes well with everything. Their customer service is also on point. They are very friendly and helpful. If you spill or unhappy with your drink, they are happy to redo it for you. Their milk teas don't taste like cereal milk tea or condensed milk tea like some reviewers mentioned here. Not sure how this description can even comparable to it. I came here with hubby on a Friday evening for a boba drink and the place was packed. I had their Moomoo milk tea drink while hubby had his Taro shaved snow. Wish my drink had boba ( Boba sold out). I've heard many friends saying their boba balls were cooked perfectly. Guess I have to come back another time for it. Although no boba but I enjoyed my drink very much. It packed with lots of flavor. I didn't finish my drink due to their large size chubby cup so I brought it home and hours later still tasted awesome. It wasn't watered down like other boba places. I was very very happy because most of the time I had trouble finishing the drink and wanted to save it later but end up throwing it away but MooMoo changed my wasting habit. read more

You know when you've been frequently a place one too many times when all the staff know your order the moment they catch a glimpse of you coming through the door. I think I tried all the boba joints in my area and I keep coming back to Moo Moo. The drinks here are flavorful and on point. My two favorites are the Moo Moo green milk tea and the Matcha green milk tea. The boba is made well with the perfect amount of chewiness and flavor. The egg pudding is also quite yummy and a good pairing with their Thai milk tea (also a good drink choice). The grass jelly has a good consistency, but it not too flavorful. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The place is spick-and-span. The drinks here are my meal replacement! read more

So I'd tried MooMoo on Calvine and here I am after having some Thai foods. Today, I have kumquat ice tea with fresh straw and mango bits. I love it. Very refreshing. This time I have it in a chubby cup since they don't offer dine in cup here. Cannot go wrong with their cute cup. Pros: Place is clean and decor is similar to their 2nd location. Something about MooMoo is quite unique when u first enter the door: the smell of freshly cooked bobas. I love it. Cons: other than chubby cup is not fit into cup holder, and waiting time, MooMoo is a great place to hang out with friends and families. Great atmosphere!!! read more

I tried out this place because the logo caught my attention while i was driving home from work. Glad they serve shaved snow and my first visit was great. I had Moomoo Pandan Flavor with condensed milk sauce and toasted coconut shave snow. Im a Pandan addict so definitely had to try and OMG it was mouthwatering. It smelled and tasted so wonderful. I've had shaved snow at other places but this place tops it all. Definitely coming back for other flavors and their milk teas. Workers also were kind and friendly. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Moo Moo Tea House for the first time, and I can confidently say it won't be my last! What sets this place apart is their non-typical cups, adding a unique twist to the experience. Their commitment to "difference is quality" truly shines through in the taste of their drinks. its not my first time coming back to Moo Moo but i have to say that they have the best milk tea in the house thus far. i also have tried the sunrise and sunset signature drink and those were excellent with strong tea flavor. I also got a seasalt shaved snow with mochi and caramel sauce on top, I swear it was the best. I prefer to come here for shaved snow since moo moo has more flavors that're better than Vampire Penguin . Moo moo is my new place now and I would definitely come back. read more

Per friends' recommendations I finally gave Moo Moo a try for my milk tea craving and I'm happy to give them a 5 stars. Workers were nice. My friend accidentally dropped her drink and spilled every where. Owner was so nice and made her a new drink for FREE. In fact, this is to meet customer satisfaction and they surely delivered. I came here with homiez on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. We got a Large Mango shaved snow to share and each a Moomoo milk tea. Lol, I finished my drink within 5 mins which was rare. Their milk tea was very different. I could taste the tea unlike other places. Mango Shaved snow was awesome. The place would be an awesome spot to hang out once everything done. Went during their soft-opening, so their drinks were 20% off. Service was... strange, but it's expected for a new business. They were very warm and welcoming. The setting is very modern; I wish they installed televisions or had something to keep customers occupied while enjoying their drinks. I ordered the Black milk tea with sea salt creamer. It waa pretty good, but maybe a little too sweet. 4 out of 5, will go again if others peer pressure me to go. read more

Moo Moo is such a great place to hangout! I love their unique chairs and the design. The logo is so adorable! I tried their regular milk tea and pandan shave snow. The tea was so strong that you can smell it and the sweetness level was perfect. Their boba was chewy which I liked. I love how Moo Moo has unique creative flavors of shaved snow. I'm a fan of their milk tea. I'm glad they brew their tea daily which is a plus. Moo Moo also serves Shave Snow. Owner said they carry 21 flavored total. I was like what??? He als said menu board was not done. Soon credit card, TV, and POS system will get going once internet puzzle being solved. Awesome milk tea. I randomly found this place after getting my nails done next door. I used to go to vampire penguin for a while but I like this place way better. It has bigger portions and fun games to play while you wait. My friends and I went and while waiting we played uno. It was really fun. My new customized ice tea is : kumquat peach green tea 75% sweetness . ( extra ice though) and the jasmine passion fruit green tea with fresh mango and straw fruit bits..... , i like the new crystal boba ( agar) i think it goes well with the milk tea, fresh jasmine milk tea / grass jelly together.
