    T-Rex Meat Lovers (Yum!)

This was our first time eating here. We did have a slice of Moon River Pizza a few years ago at a friend's house and we remember liking it. Today it was a Wednesday around 5:45pm and the line to order was long! After we ordered and while we were there eating the order line never went down. I told my wife that says a lot about a restaurant if it stays that steady busy the entire time we've been here; everyone must really like it! We ordered the T-Rex medium pizza. Wow we both really liked it and loved the flavors..... There's other pizza places around town that has pizza similar to this one BUT Moon River Pizza had much more flavor and came out to the table way hotter than any other pizza we've had in a super long time! All the staff at Moon River were super friendly. We will definitely be back!!!

When the family is all eating their first slice only to realize the order was wrong

Pretty good pizza, but the last two times we ordered our usual with the roasted garlic and it was left off. Both times we got take out and brought it home and started eating it only to realize it wasn't all there. At that point it's not like a bunch of hungry people are gonna take it back but just disappointing.

This is probably my new favorite pizza place in Jacksonville! The hair salon I go to is right around the corner from this place so I've passed it many times and finally decided to try it last week. The crust was very crispy but not overdone and the breaded eggplant was a must! It was around $22 for a medium pizza with 4 toppings which I thought was reasonable. We also got their Greek salad which was good! I tried an Italian alcoholic seltzer they had as well and loved it. The restaurant is a casual place but great service.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves it. So attentive, courteous and delicious. Grabbed a custom calzone which was divine! Even got to watch one of my favorite movies while enjoying dinner.

We ordered a pizza to-go and walked over from Fishweir Brewing to grab it. It was just what we needed while watching some football and having some beers. The size was perfect for our group size. Made our own with sausage, banana peppers, and green peppers. I personally would've preferred crumbled sausage instead of sliced but it was still very yummy, and had plenty of cheese! I will definitely be back and stay to eat vs taking to go. To-go service was quick and easy

This has now happened twice in less than a month. The first time, the bottom of the pizza was badly burnt. To their credit, the manager replaced it free of charge and the remake was excellent. Unfortunately, I returned today and experienced the same issue again (see photos)-- the entire bottom of the crust was charred and overcooked. When the pizza is made correctly, it's very good, but the inconsistency is frustrating, especially at this price point. I also don't feel customers should have to call the manager each time to get a properly made pizza. I'm hoping they can address the oven timing and quality control so this doesn't continue happening.

Delicious enormous slices of pizza, every time we go! My husband always thinks he should order two and we always bring one home LOL. The staff is chill, super helpful with refills etc. I've seen families, dates, sports teams, just about everyone enjoying this place. They have a couple of tvs, and they serve beer (draft and bottles) and wine, but the foods are the star of the show! Thin crust pizzas, toppings galore, calzones... shake some of that G-spot on top if you like a little spice... don't sleep on the Greek salad either. Check out Moon River, well worth the effort to get yourself to Murray Hill!

One of my favorite local pizza places is always a great choice. I love that they serve beer and cider on tap. Whether you're ordering a slice or a whole pie, everything is made to order. The service is consistently excellent, with staff frequently checking in to ensure you have everything you need. The pizza slices are a generous size, and the restaurant is kept clean. I also enjoy that they play movies on the TVs; during my recent visit, they were showing *The Mask*.

A vintage, chill, friendly place to have a fantastic pizza! Ordered the large white pizza and added bacon, just to make sure I would have left overs for the next day. The crunch, and mix was flavors is a hard one to compare to other places. While waiting and eating my pizza I was not the only one excited that they had the Mummy playing, it seems like we had made it to a Pizza Movie night lol Service was fantastic, and we were even treated to some delicious chocolate cupcakes. Coming back soon!

Discovered a treasure in Murray Hill this past weekend in Moon River Pizza. I don't know the origin story but it seems like some GenXers got together, decided to open a great pizza restaurant with the goal to make great food and create a fun atmosphere with impeccable service. We entered and ordered. We were complimented on our order and told that we had to try the balsamic glaze with our fried eggplant pizza and it was great advice. We were given a marker for our table. It wasn't numbered. It was an artistic rendering of Molly Ringwald wearing a Judd Nelson T-shirt. The interior is artistic and eclectic with local art on the walls and there are a couple of TVs that featured the Army/Navy game. Stickers lined the kitchen. It was like a 90s dorm room or apartment. Everything we ordered was great. The cheese calzone just had immaculate dough and the sauce was perfect. Tangy, not sweet. The epitome of what sauce should be. The medium fried eggplant pizza was actually rather large compared to other pizza locations in the area. The pizza was good on its own. I added a bit of oregano and red pepper but the balsamic glaze made it a home run. Alt rock was playing quietly in the background and several times while we were eating, our drinks were topped off and everyone on the staff paid close attention to everyone there and they seemed to legitimately enjoy doing it. Their attitude was infectious. Great outing, great place. We'll be back for sure...often. If you haven't tried Moon River Pizza, I highly suggest you do. This place is fantastic!!!

    Veggie calzone
    Nichole L.

Went with a friend and had calzones (funny shape, serious flavor) for dinner. It must've been kids night because there were several of them there with Disney on the TV. Surprisingly, it was well tamed, and everyone was very well mannered (no screaming Mimi's, thank you!!). The wait-staff were great and very attentive, stopping by on several occasions to make sure everything was OK. I'm not sure where I put it all, but I ate almost that whole calzone. It was absolutely delicious! I would recommend this place.

We started with the arincini and it was amazing! The goat cheese made it spectacular and the marinara is really amazing. I have always wanted to try the pear fiocchi because everyone raves about it and it is their best seller. But...I was not impressed. The servers seemed to know it needed help. Our server offered me crushed pepper and another server stopped by and offered chili oil and peppers. I got the sense they knew I didn't like it and it needed some flavor. But it was too sweet. Even though it is pear pasta, I assumed the added cheeses and sauce would balance out the flavor but it was way too sweet. Luckily they took it off the ticket and I was able to share lasagne with my husband and that was amazing. Just beware that if you order multiple things, make sure you get different sauces because if jt has red sauce, it will all taste the same. Vary up your flavors. Also we got the chocolate cake and my kids left half the cake on the table. They never leave cake behind. I will also add that my daughter got the child size Sunday Suppa with pink sauce and a meatball and she LOVED it. I am glad we went and explored the menu, but I am literally sad the pear pasta was not as amazing as I had hoped it would be!

Having said that what an awesome way to end my birthday with this amazing dinner that I had at this place. One of the best Italian restaurants in Jacksonville I must say. As soon as me and my wife walked in to the restaurant we were greeted and sat right away. The ambiance of this restaurant is truly amazing and very Italian vibe. We were greeted by our server MORGAN who was fantastic from beginning to the end. She suggested some incredible stuff that as a vegetarian I tried and was just amazing. For drinks we had mojito and pinacolada which was nice and refreshing. For appetiser we were recommended with Pomodoro Caprese which was amazing especially their Pesto sauce. For my entree she suggested me Luingini Josephine which was unique and nice pasta. Morgan surprised me with a dessert which was very kind of her. Overall this family owned small business is an amazing must try Italian restaurant. I can't wait to back and try more stuff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Initially, we were going to Coopers Hawk, but forgot we had to make a reservation a year prior. We were told a 2 hour wait! That is wild given how big the place is. But again it is a Saturday night, and people were smarter than us and made reservations, and thus we left. After giving the news to ogre she full on had a rage attack in the parking lot screaming for those classic Coopers Hawk egg rolls. While we were consoling her I heard a soothing sound coming from behind the restaurant and we landed in front of Enzo's. We were greeted by the kindest owner ever who thankfully along with the help of her staff got us in with no wait, given how packed it was.. We were greeted by a very nice waiter who seemed all over the place though. I think he was definitely new, and was forgetful at times.. Anyways! We got three apps which were all fried stuff. Fried ravioli, Fried mozzarella sticks, Fried calamari. Honestly looking back kind of gross.. but they were solid tasting! Nothing out of the park at all on the apps just your standard.. a little tasteless on the calamari, but then again I had like 3-4 pieces because the ogre consumed them.. but then I got clarification from my good buddy bezos that it was kind of tasteless. The most tastiest was the fried mozzarella! Which shouldn't happen. Onto the entrees! Actually wait side reference note I initially ordered mussels with linguini. It was the worst dish of seafood and pasta I have ever had. I literally NEVER send stuff back, like literally never.. it feels inconsiderate and I feel like a bother even if it is just a little edible I would eat it with no complaints but I literally could not. It was so fishy I am now writing this nauseous. Some of the mussels were also closed, cold or broken.. it was just very very poor and I'm mad I had three mussels. The first one was crazy fishy, but I gave it another shot and then another, because I believe in second and third chances. But no, I was grossed out. Not to mention consuming all the fried prior. I also ordered a soup that was forgotten, and didn't get my cocktail sauce, but not really an issue if the dish was made to torture people with. Eventually I did get my soup and it wasn't bad! But now onto the entrees! Bezos: Chicken francese Tragic: veal parm Ogre: Chicken parm Doctor B Wife: Chicken Caprese Me: after the swap I got Veal Parm (thanks tragic) Oh and we had some garlic bread, but it needed some sauce or added flavor with it idk.. Reviews! Ogre: The chicken was good Wife: Mid Bezos: *yawn* ummmm Tragic: Italian stallion Me: the veal was solid, but that dish was so bad before that I lost all my appetite and I am just bleh.. and our waiter seemed a little lost.. again nice guy but come on. All in all we are grateful we were taken in by Enzo's and that owner seemed like she was a hardworking person that definitely can inspire her staff. I loved the piano playing, and the environment was really pleasant. Although me personally I disagree with the food, that dish was the worst ever, and our waiter again although nice was extremely forgetful. I feel sick to my stomach and I probably am going to vomit. But thank you again you gave us a good night and a place to eat..
