Stopped by this gem because I was craving a good breakfast. Well, what can I say. We were referred to the right place. I ordered the Encino's Egg White Frittata. This was delicious!! The eggs were light, and fluffy. The veggies were tender , and vibrant, not too mushy, and lastly the cheese on top was a little gooey, stretchy, and blistered. This frittata was perfect. I didn't try my table mates dishes but I'm sure they were delicious. Both plates were empty when we left. I will definitely be back to try a different dish in the future.

The food portions are HUGE and well worth the price and wait! Great diner for large families as it seems they don't require reservations for large parties. You SHOULD expect a wait, especially on the weekend. The wait is anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on when you line up. I arrived at 9:30AM on Father's Day and waited about 70 minutes to be seated at 10:40AM. The front of house did estimate about an hour wait and she was right. The Yelp waitlist isn't super accurate as people do leave the queue, I was 18th in line when I was seated. The staff are doing their best to get the food and customers in and out. They are quick and the food comes out fast and hot! I'm shocked that they were still able to check up on their tables and be friendly while fielding so many orders and customers! Speaks to their great customer service. Ronnie's Scrumptious Breakfast - 5/5, deliciously made homestyle potatoes they were piping HOT. The bacon and cheese cooked in and over medium egg were delicious!! I loved the tomato salsa that came with the food. Eggs Benedict waffles - 5/5, WOW the hollandaise sauce is on the thinner side and has a nice tang to it which makes it less heavy and easier to eat! Perfectly poached eggs and PLENTY of waffle real estate Cup of chili - 5/5, love that they top with red onion and cheese. Sweet, savory homemade chili, what's not to like!

Best waffles in town, been going here since we moved to Encino many years ago. However I haven't been back in a few years as my kids got older and prefer to sleep in than go out for breakfast. However the past holiday weekend my youngest woke up early so I told him we will go to the waffle place. Got there before 9am so we were seated right away. We sat inside and we both ordered an omelette with the waffles as the side. Service was fast but the only thing is that the eggs are overcooked. On the photo you can see the edges were brown on my order (Californian). The servings are huge so we only ate half of the omelettes we ordered and finished off the waffles. I had the Californian and my son had Denver. The Californian is a folded omelette while Denver flat. I prefer my son's omelette than mine. Next time I'll just have the waffles! Oh and they put jam and salsa that's really good to put on anything - even the waffles.

Visited More Than Waffles Saturday before Mother's Day for brunch. Was originally excited to try their food as their menu is extensive and had many options available from classic breakfast plates, Mexican twists and of course, waffles! While two kind waiters originally came to our group to just offer coffee and water, a hostess randomly came up to our group and rudely said "well, your group has been here for 40 minutes now and still haven't ordered and we need the tables". First and foremost, our group had not been there for 40 minutes yet, and if we had been, that would have showed how delayed their service was. Secondly, the hostess came off very rude and aggressive, she could have asked if we were just ready to order. Finally, we had been waiting for someone to take our order the entire time! We kindly advised we had been waiting to order. She ruined the vibes for the entire group, and we did not feel welcome for the rest of the experience. The waiters were extremely kind, just not whoever the hostess was on 5/9/26. Waffles came out first, would have made more sense to have them after the main meal. Eggs Benedict were very traditional, seasoned well but nothing to rave for. They definitely have a different take on chilaquiles, not what I was expecting but decently seasoned. Food is around 6.5-7/10. Well seasoned, flavorful but not unique. Not coming back to this location to due the experience unfortunately.

A very busy Saturday before Mother's Day. I love the WaitList they use through Yelp. I have been here before and waited over an hour to be seated. I was with my daughter and 2 granddaughters, celebrating Mother's Day. The patio area is very pretty, with the water fountain and umbrellas. The inside was like a cozy home decor. Very comfortable seating, It was very loud. I ordered the french toast waffle with fresh strawberries, kiwi and berries. I declined the whip cream and nuts and didn't use the melted butter and syrup that came with it. My waffle was delicious, with mounds of fruit, although mine was delivered about 10 minutes after everyone else, and it wasn't a french toast waffle. My daughter had the traditional eggs benedict with potatoes, which she enjoyed. My pregnant granddaughter had eggs benedict, but removed one of the english muffins and added avocado. She was very happy. My youngest granddaughter also had the eggs benedict, but with fruit. We all left full. The service was very good, in spite of the busy day.

Totally worth the hype. We had some guests from out of town and we took them here recently. They offer an incredible variety of waffles and breakfast items here. My bf couldn't believe you could get ice cream on your waffles haha. I really enjoyed the bbq omelette. I'd never think to put bbq sauce on an omelette but here I am, savoring every last bite. I wanted to split it into two meals but I couldn't stop eating it. I'd come again in a heartbeat, although I'd try and come during the week as opposed to the weekend because the wait is probably unbearable during most weekends. Ample parking because it's a strip mall. Also if you sit outside, they have plenty of heaters so won't shiver while you eat.

Wow what a hidden gem!! You don't even know about this spot since it's in the back of the shopping center. This place was crazy busy and packed as expected for a great spot and weekend brunch. We put our names down and waited maybe 15-20 minutes. Beautiful view of the fountain and they have nice seating outside. We got to sit inside where the AC was blasting lol. Food also came out really quick after we ordered! He got some potatoes with egg and I got the chilaquiles with added avocado and tortilla chips on the side so they don't get soggy. Huge portion so there were definitely some leftovers! Super delicious and love how quick the service was. Wish it had the green verde sauce but the salsa was nice and not spicy. Food is great! 5 stars for food...everything else definitely could use some improvement. Make sure you do the yelp waitlist. Check in with the front when you arrive and be on top of your waitlist. We waited more than an hour, then got a text saying we were taken off. Front of house said we were supposed to check in with them (but never got a text)...party in front had same issue...didn't apologize or anything...waited probably 10 more min then we were sat for party of 3. 3 of us ordered: mushroom omelette $20.95 upgrade to blueberry waffle $7.50 side potatoes $5.95 cali omelette with waffle $21.95 OJ $5.25 Waffle is truly light and crispy, best I've had! Solid omelet. For the most part, staff is friendly, could be a bit more attentive. Older building. Layout of the place could definitely be more optimized...but why change anything when they're so busy haha. Overall, food here is great! Just be mindful of everything up to getting food on the table. Will be back!! Curious to see how the waffle holds up for takeout.

Service and food were all really good and the ambiance was very quaint and fitting! My friends and I ordered The Big G, Ronnie's breakfast bowl, the Sante Fe Benedict, and we also got a lemon lover Belgian waffle to share. Something that stood out right away were that the portions were enormous, especially the Santa Fe Benedict. All the good was delicious and my personal favorite was the waffle, which is rare. Shoutout to our server for being super attentive and hooking us up on the house strawberry jam and salsa!

It's been years since I've been here but the spot is still the same and the food is so great ! We got there around 9 so there was no wait but when we left there were so many people waiting in a Sunday. Got a burrito which was delicious. Their portions are kind of big so it's definitely good to share. Can't wait to come back. It's such a cute place it's gives off a bed and breakfast kind of vibe.

Met my buddy here. We both came from 20-30 minutes away. Parking lot is tight and spaces are scarce. Great outdoor environment. 15 minute wait at 10:30am Saturday. Patio table by the fountain. Most the tables are for 4, so ample room. Wonderful server. Had this oddly-looking, wonderfully delicious ham and eggs crepe with their handmade side sauces (sweet jelly and chili salsa. Fantastic!!! Five stars! BUT...I'm not sure if I would have liked eating inside as much much as I did eating on the patio.

This place is a bit tucked away--downstairs behind a large mall off Ventura Boulevard--but free parking helps, and clearly word has gotten out. When I arrived around 10:30 on a Monday morning, it was already packed, especially with families and large groups. The operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Service is attentive and efficient without feeling rushed: coffee cups are constantly refilled, water glasses never empty. The interior is warm and homey, cozy in a way that makes you want to linger. Portions are generous--almost too generous--and after watching waffle after waffle glide past my table, I regretted my choice. I went with the ham and cheese crêpe, which wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. The crêpe itself was a bit soggy and overwhelmed by melted cheddar. That said, the flavors were good, and the breakfast potatoes were excellent. Lesson learned: waffles next time.

Great food, staff and atmosphere. Get very crowded on the weekends. We waited for 60-80 mins for a table. But it was all worth the wait. The inside is very homely and pretty. It can get loud but didn't really bother me. We got Belgian waffle with Nutella and strawberry and a eggs Benedict. So good! So fresh! And felt like the food was prepared with love and care. This place was amazingly good. I would suggest joining the waitlist on Yelp before coming as they have a long wait. The time they give you on Yelp is pretty accurate so I didn't have to wait long at all. Despite how busy they were we we still were taken care of and our food didn't take long at all. I love breakfast and I love pancakes and I love waffles and this place makes the best waffles in town hands down!! I know what you're thinking, most breakfast food is the same but don't be fooled, you WILL have to wait a bit before they are able to seat you so don't come hangry!! They also have about 45% of their seating outside so come weather prepared. Other than that is the food is magnificent and the service is great! Me and my partner were looking for a cute breakfast spot. We stumbled open this place and ended up really liking it. We went around 9am on a Thursday morning and got seated promptly. There was plenty of outdoor seating and the service was great. Our food came out quick and it was delicious. The waffles were by far the best part of our experience and there was so many to choose from. The coffee was great tasting, I recommend their iced vanilla latte. Had breakfast at more than waffles. The corn beef hash extra crispy and the Home fried potatoes were absolutely delicious. Very similar to eggs and things but perhaps even better. Love this place but most of all our service was wonderful. There was a young girl there named Carissa who is absolutely sweet, helpful, and constantly smiling. What's not to like at this institution! I can see why they have been around for so long! My fiancé recommended this place one day and Ihave never had a bad experience here. You can tell that their staff really cares. Your coffee cup is never half full, they are always on point. The quality of their waffles are unparalleled. It's the perfect balance of crisp and chewy. We love their omelettes (Belgian and Popeye) are our go to's! The bonus is that it comes with a waffle! That won me over from the first try! I love their in house (vanilla notes) coffee. I really missed them when they had to close during the pandemic and glad that they started offering takeout again. I know they just started offering dine in on the patio now. Yess.. This place is a MUST TRY if you are in Tarzana and Encino area!!! Can't really go wrong with their breakfast items like eggs Benedict. Did I even mention waffle Benedict? Yes. You better order your Benedict with waffles instead of English muffins... plus sides that come with Benedict was great.... 2 bucks will be charged extra if you prefer waffle instead of English muffins. Excellent spot for breakfast, somewhat hidden in the courtyard downstairs with the Lamaelle theater but such a gem! I have been coming here for years but wanted to post a review because it still is a marvelous breakfast/brunch spot. On Saturdays they often have live jazz or music. With a fountain in the courtyard it's not a problem to wait for a table, and you usually have to wait on Saturday mornings. Yes, their waffles ARE terrific but they have a huge menu with other offerings so don't miss out. Great service, homey feel, totally not a "gentrified" feel at all. You gotta try it! read more

It doesn't look like much when you walk by, but this place is a hidden gem. The inside is small and cozy but they have tables outside next to the water fountain in the plaza. We went right when they opened to avoid the crowd, which ended up working in our favor. The service was very good and our waitress helped us decide what to order, since it was our first time there. I decided to go with the Santa Fe Benedict with potatoes and my husband got the Netella waffel with strawberry and banana. All I have to say is the food was delicious! I normally do not get eggs over easy, but I decided not to change a thing. The Netella did not over power the flavor of the fluffy waffel. Needless to say we will definitely be going back. read more

Today is International Waffle Day so I figured why not try something new!? The waffle was so good I was ready to write the review while eating but I got no cell reception at the restaurant haha. Thanks T-Mobile.... Anyways, this waffle was well worth the visit and price. It was 12 dollars but the price matched it's quality, gourmet! They have lots of different waffle options, around 20 or so. And as the name suggests, they have more than just waffles! I got the Oreo waffle. It came with ice cream which is why I got it, the Oreos helped too hahaha.. But not all waffles come with ice cream. The flavor was amazing, would recommend trying this one. You will love it! They have indoor and outdoor seating, the place was busy but not full so I got right in. I imagine on weekends this place being extremely crowded. Waffles are great here. Breakfasts are big too. Everyone liked their breakfasts but I saw crepes in the menu-- wrong choice. I was expecting a savory tender crepe but it was just an omelet (dry) stuffed in a crepe which was more like a pancake. Love this place! The wait can get really long later in the morning, but it's worth it. Homestyle breakfast favorites at a pretty decent price. Service is always excellent! The house coffee is a vanilla flavor which is delicious! They serve homemade strawberry jam and salsa to go with the food. Waffles are of course super yummy, but everything from omelettes, regular eggs, bacon, etc. is also really good! I have yet to come in for lunch food since breakfast is always so enticing. Our Belgian waffles, or Gaufre, as they are also called, are known for their thickness but light and airy texture. Our waffles are made from the finest ingredients and served plain or with a variety of fresh toppings and are accompanied with homemade jam and melted butter. We offer about 19 different waffles to choose from, and of course you can create your own. We also offer a full breakfast menu with a variety of healthy and organic dishes such as breakfast burritos, crepes, pancakes, various benedicts, hash, and more. Meet the Business Owner: Ika T.

Like many of the cooks that have remained with "More Than Waffles" since its inception, Ika found herself at home there, beginning as a waitress in 1989 and eventually becoming its manager. In 1994, a gentleman entered the restaurant and stole Ika's heart and she became Mrs. Greg Taft. Ika enjoys being able to serve the public at More Than Waffles providing authentic Belgian waffles has been the driving force of the family business for years. Ika hopes to provide you such a positive experience you'll remember to return to More Than Waffles when you're in need of a mouthwatering and authentic meal.

There is plenty of parking because it is in the same mini mall as the CVS. We ordered the lamb chops, a filet mignon kebab, the seared ahi tuna salad with a side of basmati rice, and the salmon dinner plate. We got the flatbread and hummus appetizers, and the pomegranate juice is made fresh there. It was so naturally sweet, I added ice cubes to dilute it. I was told the food ingredients are organic and healthy, and it sure tasted that way. I had plenty of food left over for lunch the next day. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming here again when I am craving fresh and organic Mediterranean food!

More Than Waffles deserves five stars because it's the very best restaurant it can be. The staff, the service, and the food is consistently excellent, and that's all you can ask for on a lazy Sunday morning. If you're feeling daring, then go all out and get some waffles smothered in ice cream and the whole nine-yards, such as the bicentennial. For those who prefer to something besides nap after breakfast, the omelets and standard breakfast fare are all top notch. The sandwiches, from what I've tried, are very good too. The service is outstanding, and it starts with the owner. She's been there every day I've been to breakfast there over the past 10 years, and she is accommodating to all the needs of your party. We've done big family brunches there, and she always sees to it that we get our table in as little time as possible. The rest of the staff is friendly and attentive too. There's also a fantastic bus boy, he recommended the hot salsa to me years ago, and now I can't eat my eggs without it! Our group of six recently had an amazing brunch at *More Than Waffles* in Encino, and we were blown away! Despite the long line and a waiting list, the service was impressively fast and friendly. The staff kept things moving smoothly, and we were seated in no time. The food was absolutely delicious, with something for everyone in our party. Of course, we had to try the *waffles*--light, fluffy, and paired with fresh toppings, they were everything we hoped for. The *pancakes* were equally impressive, thick and perfectly golden. We also had a fantastic *omelette*, packed with flavor and cooked just right. The highlight for our vegan friend was the *vegan veggie potato option*, which was divine even without the cheese. It was hearty, flavorful, and left them raving about it long after the meal. I came here for a breakfast visit with my girlfriend. Given the reviews, we figured we should arrive "early." We arrived at 9:15 AM on a Saturday morning and there were plenty of tables outside. We ordered some coffee, ten minutes later our food and the food arrived after only about 10 minutes! (Actually, a little too quick for purposes of leisurely conversation.) The food is wonderful across the menu. I had shakshuka (eggs poached in a Mediterranean sauce of tomatoes, sweet peppers, onions and (usually) harissa, although they were light on the harissa if there was any. My girlfriend had a sugar-bomb of a Belgian waffle with bananas, ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The waffle was cracker crisp and malty as a Belgian waffle should be.After the meal was over and the check paid the place was full and we felt obliged to make space for those waiting. That is the one downside of the efficiency of this place. On Saturdays and Sundays there is live music from about 10 AM. The bill was about $50 for the two of us and worth every penny. read more

I recently visited this new breakfast spot and I have to say, it's an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our experience only got better from there. Our waiter, Jimmy, was fantastic. He's genuinely happy to be at work, and his positive energy is contagious. Jimmy went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and his service was impeccable. It's rare to find someone who is not only great at their job but also clearly enjoys what they do. As for the food, it was simply delicious. We tried both the waffles and the French toast, and they did not disappoint. The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, while the French toast was rich and flavorful. Each bite was a delight, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into their preparation. If you're looking for a new breakfast spot, I highly recommend checking this place out. Don't you hate it when your friends really speak highly about a place and when you go to try it you are utterly disappointed? Well this was the case for More Than Waffles for me. 2 friends of mine went here a few months ago and have made it their sunday brunch spot ever since. Each time they come back and I am around they keep raving on how much I need to come with them next time. So I finally went. And it was terrible. 1. Waitress service was nonexistent. 2. My eggs benedict looked so sad, just sitting on the plate that lacked sides and flavor. I almost felt bad for it. 3. Its jam packed with people on Sunday, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, just back up your crowds with some food worth coming back for! This place is called More Than Waffles, and in the past if I did't order what the place was famous for, I was usually disappointed, but its called MORE THAN Waffles damnit! That means something else has to be good here! Next time I'm forced here I'll give the waffles a shot, and they better be damn good! read more

My fiancé has been telling me about this place. I was very excited as I'm coming out of depression and thought it'd be good to go out. Oh man, the service was absolute trash. I had to constantly ask for the same things to be brought to me because the waiters would forget. Decor is very old ( they claim to keep the history or whatever) the bathrooms and decor are just trash. So I was looking forward to the food, maybe this is why people come here right ? Wrong. I promise Denny's has better food. 1 burrito 1 waffle 1 coffee 1 tap water $37 I requested the coffee to be removed since my fiancé could not tolerate the taste after the first sip. The man charging cards tells me to handle that with the waitress without even looking my direction. Sunday, my only day off. Ruined by this experience. I don't usually go off on businesses but I literally hate this place with many good reasons. I know my view won't matter to the owners but you've been warned yelpers. read more

I am a huge fan of this adorable place! It's one of my favorite breakfast spots. It is a secret little place tucked away in a shopping center, but once you're inside, it reminds me of a little piece of the south! It's very down home and country feeling, and the food is delicious too! The main highlight is of course, THE WAFFLES! Light, crispy, and hot. They turn these babies out fresh every time, and they're always delightful! The service is always on point. Everywhere you look there are servers and wait staff walking around ready to fill your coffee cup with their delicious flavored coffee. The only downside is that the butter they serve for the waffles is very oily tasting, and they don't have real butter as a substitute. If you like real butter on your waffles, I suggest you bring your own! This is a minor detail, but it makes difference when I take my own butter. Anyway, I love the food and the service! read more

I recently visited More Than Waffles and had a generally great experience. The wait time for a table was around 10 minutes, which wasn't an issue at all, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the classic waffle dish, and it exceeded expectations--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped perfectly with fresh ingredients. However, there was a small hiccup with the timing of our order. We had ordered a side of potatoes that were meant to come with our meal, but by the time we had finished everything else, the potatoes hadn't arrived yet. They came out much later, almost as an afterthought, which was a bit disappointing given how well everything else had gone. Overall, I'd still highly recommend More Than Waffles for their food, but I'd suggest checking in on side items to make sure they come out on time. Yum!! I've stopped counting how many times I've been here. Everything here is outstanding, The service, the food, the ambiance. This place is worth a drive from California City, if you're unfortunate enough to live there. It is soo good. The service is amazing! Miguel, Jackie, Ika, Greg and the entire staff are so efficient. Once, when we were seated, I was shivering because I was right by the door and the hostess asked if we wanted to move somewhere warmer because she saw the goosebumps on my arms. WOW! The wait to be seated is so worth it since the food usually arrives about 5 minutes after you order it (though I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to be seated here). Everyone working there is genuinely friendly and attentive..none of that rushed or stuck-up vibe you sometimes get at popular places. The food was the star, of course. The waffles were light, crispy, and just the right amount of sweet, and the "Waffler" special was a fun twist that I'd highly recommend. Coffee kept coming without us having to ask, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The whole place has a cozy, laid-back feel, which made it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed morning meal. There's a lot of parking but if you don't want to wait you should get there before or at 9 a.m sharp..Soup of the day is always good and so are all their salads and sandwiches! When I'm there in the early hours, you know I'm skipping all that and getting right into the eggs and dessert :) I had an omelet (can't remember the name) side of toast and coffee. Then I had their waffles which is included. All super yummy and they give u yummy strawberry jam yay. My friend ordered a blt which she loved and she got an order of hot fudge sundae as dessert. This has to be one the best places to go for breakfast on a weekend morning. More than Waffles is a family run place that does an excellent job with breakfast. Most of the egg dishes come with a choice of pancakes or waffles. The waffles here are just heavenly. They are perfectly done and not too dry. All of the food that is on the breakfast menu is very very tasty. The prices here are on not on the cheap side, but now almost everything has gone up so it is understandable. I also love the service here. Although it is very very busy on the weekend, just be prepared to wait about 20-30 minutes for your table. There is usually live music performed by a singer on an electric keyboard. What a GREAT PLACE. read more

I think I have found my new place for breakfast or Brunch! Just like everyone else is saying, this place does get packed very quickly on weekends, so you should arrive early. And I recommend sitting in their outdoor patio for the scenery. The Belgium "Love" is amazing. Dipped in dark Belgian chocolate with strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream...I don't think I tasted anything as good as that so far. It definitely filled my sweet tooth desires. There are so many other things that I want to try for breakfast. But if you're not really a breakfast person like I am, they have a humongous menu including burgers, pastas, sandwiches, soups, salads. Service was great! Loved this place! Made reservations for 12 and it wasn't a problem for a Saturday brunch. We were seated outside on the patio and was greeted and served right away. They even had live entertainment to add to an already beautiful day. Went there to celebrate our mom's birthday and the staff were completely wonderful. They even got the singer to sing a happy birthday song for her. She was thrilled and all of us were super grateful just to see her smile and enjoy her special day. The food was fantastic! We all got different ones so we can try it all! I had the ham and cheese crepes with the house potatoes. Awesome choice! I'm kind of annoyed at myself for not ordering the waffles when I came here. Virtually every table around us had waffles, yet I ordered the veggie eggs benedict, and it was OK. Nothing more. I watch the food network enough to point out flaws in a restaurant, and Robert Irvine really wont appreciate the presentation of their dishes. Their eggs benedict and my side of fruit came on 2 separate plates. The plate of the eggs benedict was huge in relation to the eggs benedict and it made them look very bland and unappealing. As far as taste goes, it was average. I've had much better before and the only reason I would come back here and wait the 30m to sit down is to try their waffles. read more

I love this place! My family and I come in to have breakfast fairly often, so I felt compelled to gush about how delicious it is! The waffles are crispy and golden. There are a ridiculous amount of toppings and varieties of waffles available, and they're ALL great. The coffee is fresh and perfect, and in plentiful supply. The service is always quick, and every one is very nice. They seem very eager to make sure everyone is happy and satisfied. We plan on going again this week! On a side note: the butter is really oily, and has an unpleasant flavor. I suggest they get real butter for those of us who like the real thing on our waffles and toast! Thanks! read more

I've only been here once while visiting home but this place was amazing. Sold me on the 1st stop. Collard greens for breakfast, I'll take it and they were surprisingly delicious. I'm more of a savory breakfast style eater. But the waffle I ordered was substituted for the regular instead of the cornbread style that came with my chicken and waffles dish. The chicken was fried perfectly on that day with flavorful gravy over the top. My friend ordered a side of their potatoes which were also really good. The mimosa was pretty cheap and tasty and came in a mason jar. Service on that day was fast and friendly. I would love to come here again and try something else. read more

Family friendly restaurant with a nice atmosphere in a strip mall. Very friendly wait staff. Wide variety of menu items, such as nutella waffles, farmer's market omelettes, and also has lunch menu as well. We went for the breakfast but there are also 'dessert' types of waffles, and even crepes. Yummy looking stuff. Coffee was o.k., nothing to write home about, but you go here for the waffles! They have pancakes, french toast etc. if you're not a waffle buff. Price is reasonable for what you get. It's usually pretty crowded here on weekends but the food is well worth the wait. If I could have a Mediterranean omelet, a pot of earl grey tea, and a waffle with home made jam for breakfast at More Than Waffles everyday, I would. Their food is amazing, and the service is even better. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, and the owners are always there - they really care about their restaurant and their patrons. The atmosphere is the best too: quaint and homey, welcoming and refreshing (not a typical LA dining experience). Lunch here is awesome too. I highly recommend this place! It's the best!! Just be aware that A LOT of people think this place is the best, so be prepared to wait a bit for a table if it's the weekend! read more
