Check out this beautiful NY strip cooked perfectly!

With so many steakhouses in the area, Morton's hadn't been high on my list to try, since I grew up eating at the flagship location in Chicago. But on this Christmas Day, we knew we wanted steak, something within walking distance of home and that we knew would make a delicious steak. Morton's fit the bill perfectly! Located at the busy corner of Broward Ave and Federal Hwy. Mortons is tucked away in the office building on the corner. You enter in the back and immediately are drawn to the big bar, showcase of wines and a perfectly lit dining area. Given it was Christmas, I was surprised at how full the dining room was and the manager told me they were sold out! Crazy! We were shown to a spacious booth and began to look over the menu. Alex, our server, was over quickly, making suggestions and recommendations. We ordered a couple of the appetizers, the beef dumplings which were very good, the bacon wrapped scallops which were tender and delicious and the lobster and crab appetizer. The lobster and crab was tossed up with some VERY spicy sauce which I thought overpowered the other flavors, but others at the table liked it. My New York strip and my dining companions ribeye were perfectly cooked- charred on the outside and medium rare on the inside. I also like the au gratin potatoes that they have. Finally for dessert (yes, we had room but barely!) we ordered the peanut butter bread pudding. It came with a caramel sauce over it. It was good but I would have like it warmer so that the ice cream would have melted. All in all a lovely evening out made even more special with some great food and service from Alex. We will be back! We may have to check out their happy hour given we live in the neighborhood and can easily walk here. Thanks for making our Christmas dinner, memorable!

Morton's is my favorite steakhouse! Quality meat and great presentation from the staff/decor. My wife and I came out to have a nice Christmas dinner without the kids and decided to do it big and to Morton's I got the rack of lamb and my wife got the bone in ribeye with Cajun seasoning. Both medium rare and cooked perfectly. We had a great time and the food is always quality.

Power Hour menu. Only from 5-6:30 in the bar area.

I went to Morton's to sample the Happy Hour bar bites and drink specials. I like the bar area. It is large and they have lots of seating and tables. They call their Happy Hour " Power Hour". Ed and Luba were the bartenders and both were very attentive and hard working. People arrive right at 5pm because Power Hour only lasts until 6:30. It was busy from the start and it takes 10 minutes to get your car valet parked with the rush ($8). The Petite Filet Mignon Sandwiches are definitely worth getting. You get about 7 ounces of the steak in the 4 sliders for $12. They were tender. The smash burgers were also delicious and juicer than the filet mignon sliders. ($12) The Shrimp Louie Wedge Bites were perfect as a salad type starter. The shrimps (4) were large and fresh. Only $12. The crab cakes were really small and very "bready". Not worth it. ($18) The 3 Short Rib Tacos were dry ($11). We drank the State & Rush Cabernet wine. It was a good wine, but not much savings at $12 a glass for 9 ounces. Overall, I enjoyed myself and the food was better than average. It's a nice Happy Hour.

I typically come here with my parents for some sort of celebration. Typically a birthday (they give you chocolate dessert) YUM! I've always had really great experiences here. Classy service and restaurant. I went away from my usual filet and lobster tale and went with the lobster ravioli. Amazing! We also tried out the wagyu dumplings, also flavorful, I've never had anything that was not delicious. If you get the french onion soup, 10/10!! Try it with their bread they serve in the beginning! You won't regret it! We'll be back next month for my parent's anniversary! See you then!

I'd never visited a Morton's, but this visit was AMAZING! The hostess at the front was very friendly and inviting with her bright personality. She introduced my server Juan who made my birthday dinner a phenomenal experience. He was VERY knowledgeable about the food and drinks on the menu. I trusted his judgment on several items and he did not disappoint with his recommendations. The green apple margarita was small, but powerful. I loved the wagyu steak dumplings that are made in house. The ambience was very relaxed and everything was prepared fresh. Huge shout out to Juan!

I went to Morton's for girls night and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was top-tier. They were very attentive. I believe my servers name was Jhoanne and she was amazing. Right now they're running a promotion three course dinner for $69 you get an appetizer and entrée as well as a dessert. I had the chopped salad, the chicken Christopher and the Keylime pie. My experience was wonderful and I will definitely be back. Oh, by the way valet is $8 which in my opinion is a great price.

Celebrating a special occasion, the waitress Amy was excellent and on point with everything, non stop refills on our drinks checking on us without asking for anything. Atmosphere was pleasant especially the Christmas decorations upon the entrance. Our meals were perfect from our appetizer to our main entry. Quiet atmosphere which is pleasant.

I have to say the name Morgan's steak house screams high price . The Memorial Day special was dinner for 2 for $130. 2 8 ounce filets. Included a bottle of wine . Cooked perfectly. Truffle fries were very good. Green beens were cooked with sweet chile sauce , not sure what was in it but it was the hit of the night . The cream corn was very good. Service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit

    My birthday dessert! Yum!!

It almost disappears among the restaurants across from the Galleria Mall. Step inside, though, and you're transported into one of South Florida's true culinary treasures, led by James Beard Award-winning Chef Allen Susser. The tableside Caesar salad is both dinner and a performance. Fresh, flavorful, and prepared right in front of you, it's worth ordering for the experience alone. The standout of the evening was the Cabernet-braised short rib. So tender it practically melts with the touch of a fork, perfectly seasoned, and a dish that reminds you why Chef Allen has earned such an outstanding reputation. As if the dinner wasn't enough, the night continued with one of South Florida's best-kept secrets. Walk through an unassuming set of double doors, head upstairs, and you'll find a simple lobby with a large red door tucked into the corner. Behind it is Betty's Bar, a hidden speakeasy that feels like stepping back into the Prohibition era. Great cocktails, lively music, jazz, rock and roll, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to lose track of time. A special thank you to Matt, the gracious host and manager, Brandon, whose tableside Caesar salad preparation was as memorable as his service, and Amy at Betty's Bar, who welcomed us with a celebratory glass of champagne. Sunness Supper Club and Betty's Bar immediately earned a place on our short list of favorite South Florida destinations. Outstanding food, exceptional hospitality, and a hidden speakeasy that completes the experience. We'll be back again and again.

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

My only true gripe is that we asked for additional pickles on the side and they charged us $2 for about 4 slices of burger pickles (no one told us there'd be that much of an upcharge). I think that's a bit much tbh. But otherwise, the food quality was good, the setting was nice and comfortable and the service was excellent. I'd def come back if I'm in the area.
