My family and I moved from our home after 10 years of living there. Since I didn't want to stress about packing or moving, I started looking for movers on Yelp. I immediately gravitated towards Move 4 Long Beach because of the great reviews. When I messaged them, Mike, the manager, started communicating with me and would ALWAYS respond super fast. That was important to me since i needed to decide fairly quickly who I would go with. It was easy to decide to go with them (I was communicating with 2 other companies). We hired them for 2 days. The first day was to pack our things. They arrived on time and immediately got to work! They took very short breaks and Einars, the foreman, would always let us know when they were going on their break. Einars and his team of 3 workers, worked so fast and really hard. I was so impressed. They finished packing up our things quickly and got everything ready to go for the following day. The next day was moving day. Again, they arrived promptly and got to work immediately. If I was impressed the first day, I was beyond impressed the second. They earned every dollar we paid them that day. They handled our things with so much care and although I'm still unpacking, I'm finding that they packed EVERYTHING. In other words, nothing is left behind. We also had a wooden swing set that needed to be moved. They disassembled part of it on the first day. It was difficult to get it into our back yard so Einars suggested they carry it over our roof. When they were done, it was safely in our backyard with no damages whatsoever. This company is "Simple the BEST" I first call 310 594 7395 the phone was answered by JOSH. I explained to him that I am looking for a local mover , the amount of rooms I have etc. Josh was extremely professional, courteous and respectful, he explain the step by step process, he breakdown the price including discount. An email follows with all the required information. Luis & Fred were the ones sent out, they were phenomenal in everything they do. I have a musical boothe that requires   disassemble and Reassemble Fred & Luis , without any complaints did that job with the tools they have in record time.  All my items was carefully handled. It's Sunday before the big move. My mom wanted me to save money and do it all myself. I usually listen to her but today was different. I knew a boost was needed to help me get over the hill (I Moved From The Valley To Santa Monica). My planning is usually same day because I have a busy business schedule. I called Move 4 Long Beach and spoke with Sam. He asked me 3 questions, and wanted to know what date. Question 1: How Many Rooms? Question 2: Any High Value Items? Question 3: Will You Be Home I was frustrated with the other companies because nobody would give me a price. I want a date and price without having to be asked a million questions. They arrived on time, they were very communicative throughout the entire process, and they were efficient. They took good care of all the furniture. Wrapped up bigger furniture, TVs, electronics, and other household furniture. When they were unloading the furniture and boxes they would ask where I wanted every box and furniture. Great service! Highly recommend! I originally had a reservation with other mover but they cancel on my because the job they did couldn't finish the day before. So I originally had a quote with move 4 long beach and I contacted mike again. He replied to me right away with availability next day and also next week! The price is one of the reasonable price given in the LA! They also have cash discount as well. On the day of moving day, victor texted me the ETA. Victor and Felipe went over and took care of my moving! Moving can be painful but they made sure everything is okay. Thanks to victor, he always asked me the direction how I wanna do and he even gave me some cat toys they found underneath the furniture lol (yes my cats played and hide stuff) They even wrapped some furniture so it doesn't get scratch. Excellent experience from beginning to end! First spoke to Josh on phone who was very informative, warm, humorous, kind and patient with all my questions about my particular move. I felt by the end of the phone call that I was in very capable hands. On the day of the move, I was called to say they were 25 minutes away and they arrived early. Alex and Felipe were amazing at their job. They both were so hard working, fast , focused, competent, polite and responsive. I experienced feeling that I could relax, that they were very good at what they did, and to just turn it over to them and they would take care of everything......which they did. I had a great move with Move 4 Long Beach yesterday. The price and service were outstanding. Scheduling the move and getting details was easy. The day of the move was also easy. I had an afternoon move scheduled. Alex and his team called me once they had finished their morning move to see if I'd like to go ahead and move a few hours early and they managed to get everything done for me so fast that by the time they left I had almost the entire afternoon left to get settled into my new place. They took care of packing my odd items and small boxes into bigger boxes and wrapping things like furniture and disassembling and reassembling furniture. They must have driven very carefully because absolutely nothing broke and I had packed my fragile items pretty liberally. They were very nice and polite. Thanks for making the move such a breeze, my wife and I decided to hire movers instead of hauling the stuff ourselves like our previous move. After much research we decided on Move 4 Long Beach, we were a little hesitant at first because we've never hired through Yelp. First and foremost, Mike was very responsive and replied within minutes of my quote request, he gave us the full rundown and from there I knew the move was going to be easy. Moving on to the actual move, Zac and James arrived a little after 8 and they had no problem with the stuff. They were absolutely quick and careful, they did not have any trouble whatsoever with any of the items. These guys literally did everything in about 3 hrs, taking the stuff from our apartment, to our new home and brining it in. All in 3 hrs!! Wow! I highly recommend these guys! Josh and Victor were WONDERFUL!!!! I usually use a different moving company, but since they would have charged me for crossing counties, I decided to try and save some money and find a different company. I was apprehensive about it because the one I normally use is so great which is why I was a repeat customer. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find this moving company and they were even accommodating when I had to reschedule due to unforseen circumstances. Josh, the driver and Victor, the helper were so incredible, efficient, nice and helpful that I was VERY impressed. The just left my apartment and I couldn't wait to write a review for them. It's been so long since I came across a moving company with quality service. I wasted so much time with the other companies. They never have anything available and when they do, it takes months in advance to book a date. It felt a little different when I first spoke to them. I was greeted by a man who was very professional. He didn't ask much of me when I made the appointment. He gave me an hourly quote and estimated time. All in all it was an amazing experience due to the ease and simplicity of the moving experience. The furniture was huge and required at least 2 or 3 guys to get the job done. Very fast and accommodating, booked with Mike through yelp just a day before our scheduled move and everything was smooth. Our movers, Einars and Marlo was very efficient and you feel you could trust with all your belongings, we even had time to go out and eat breakfast while they move our stuff and they don't try to delay while we are away. They are professional and you feel the value of your money, we even enjoyed talking to them while loading and unloading, making the move stress free. But definitely tip them well because carrying all these stuff is no joke and a lot of physical labor, specially with us coming from a second floor apartment (no elevator) to a two story house. We needed a new refrigerator moved from our garage to our 2nd floor kitchen and the old refrigerator brought down to the garage. The move was challenging due to limited clearance and spiral stairs. Doors and drawers needed to be removed from refrigerator. We called Move4LongBeach and spoke with Josh who was very upfront about pricing and what his business could do. He asked us to send him pictures to show what the move entailed. He texted back and said his guys could do it the next day (Super Bowl Sunday) at 11:00am. They (Memo and Luis) showed up on time. What an amazing life saver Einars and his team were. Moving is as overwhelming and stressful as it gets, and these guys made all the difference remaining calm and organized the entire time. From the onset, they responded within 20 min and booked all the details within an hour for moving THE VERY NEXT DAY. They were on time (early even), upbeat, kind, and respectful. I just moved here from Oklahoma and needed a way to move from stuff from storage to my new apartment in Marina Del Ray. I called Move 4 Long Beach and got an answer right away from Sam. He told me it will be around $90 an hour due to the weekend Pricing. This was not a problem for me because the packing supplies were included compared to the other companies who didn't include them in the hourly rate. After about 3-4 hours they moved my entire storage unit to my apartment. It wasn't that far away but it had a ton of furniture in it. My couch was not damaged compared to my previous move a few years ago. I had a great experience and would highly recommend. read more

Hired this company for my move from Long Beach to Cypress. We negotiated everything by email and message through Yelp, they sent over all the paperwork and we scheduled easily for the day I wanted. The crew was right on time and took excellent care of my things, all the fine furniture pieces were wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped, they took care to close up all the boxes that I'd been sloppy with also. They even did a deeper disassembly of my large desk and reassembled in the new location. Everything was completely upfront and discussed thoroughly, no surprises.
