Yay found my new favorite Thai spot It's a pretty small spot but when we came on Thursday at 8 it was not packed. Service was excellent. It is just one waiter seeing all of us but he was still super quick and always friendly. Now for the food: I ordered chicken pad Thai with mild spicy. Loved the flavor of this so much yummm!! The spicy level was perfect too. Great portion sizes, we had plenty left over. I definitely will be back to order the pad thai again My bf ordered the orange chicken was he loved as well. Hands down the absolute BEST Thai restaurant in the Chandler/Gilbert area!! We order carry out regularly and the food is always consistently amazing. The family that owns this place are incredibly kind and provide great service despite how busy they are. It's always packed, which is a great sign! If you want to order food to go, I recommend calling at least 30 minutes before you want to eat. If it's a weekend, call an hour ahead. Give them the time they need to cook and put together your order and you won't be disappointed! I ordered take-out on Yelp. Estimated time was 20-30 min. Then confirmation e-mail ... 40-60 min. I went to pick it up after 45 and it had not beee. Started yet. There were three tables occupied by two parties, and four takeout orders that had yet to be started. So the roads great service is garbage. I went back in to ask for some chili paste, and I got the stink eye. When I got the food home, it was scalding hot with absolutely zero flavor, just spicy oil. I ordered the spicy basil with the ground chicken. The chicken did not taste fresh, the vegetables were fresh, but tasteless because they were drowned in the spicy oil. For a $30 meal for one that was takeout, it should have been better food and a better experience. read more

I've tried around five local Thai restaurants and must say, finally found the one. We called ahead and asked what the wait was for the four of us. The gentleman said we have a table available now and we'll reserve it for you. We arrived few minutes after that phone call and saw a table that said reserved. Right off the back, I was impressed. It's a small place but full of character. All the food we had was amazing! The only negative thing I have to say is they didn't serve any Thai beer. This place is AMAZING! I found this place when I was 17 and it quickly became a weekly stop for my best friend and I to have dinner. I'm now 22 and have become very fond of this restaurant and their staff. I've spent several summer in Thailand growing up and had been searching for authentic Thai food in Arizona until I found them. They put so much care time and knowledge into their food that you can help but come back for more. Not to mention their hospitality and costumer service. This is my favorite Thai restaurant! I am so scared to try another one because this place is amazing that I don't want to be let down! This is our third time eating here and The food is always piping HOT! Not warm, Luke warm, HOT and that is with take out! The food is always good and the flavors are authentic. I can always taste the lemon grass depending on the dish I get. The chicken is breaded heavy so be prepared for that. When they say spicy it's not hot Cheeto spicy. They mean hot burning your mouth, so I advise no spice or maybe mild, but your pushing it with the mild. I got mild last time and it was a lot of kick so I prefer no spice. The takeout presentation is amazing as well as the little candies they give! My two year old loves the food and the candies! It's so nice to go to a restaurant where you can try different dishes and know they will be hot a flavorful. I LOVE this place!! read more

The chicken egg rolls taste just like my mom's, so I knew it was a good sign! Everything we ordered was delicious. Could have used less oyster or fish sauce in the basil chicken, but it was still pretty good. The one complaint I do have is that they don't have a wide selection of meat. I would have liked to have a pork dish, but they only offered it in a fried rice. Not a lot of beef either. Was mainly chicken and the menu didn't give an option to choose differently. The egg rolls we ordered had chicken, my husband's curry had chicken, and the basil chicken obviously had chicken in it. Even if I hadn't tried anything else though, I would still at least go back for the egg rolls. read more

Literally looks like a hole in the wall but once you get inside the place is so decorated obviously in a Thai theme because it's a Thai restaurant. They do have a break in between so we can't about 4 pm . Brought my friend here to eat. Seating is limited. The waiter was so nice , I'm guessing he might be the owner. Right off of Warner and Cooper. Plenty of parking. Small inside, with 4 tables that seat 4. Menu was reasonably priced. The egg fried rice with veggies was so yummy! No over powering flavors, the right balance of ingredients... cooked to perfection. The yellow currey was fine, missing a bit of salt. Panang was also missing a bit of salt.. but full of flavor! The orange chicken.. hands down.. was da bomb! Super crispy.. the glaze wasn't too sweet and the spring onion added a nice balance. The one thing I didn't get a picture of was the golden tofu... because it was so scrumptious... it was gone in seconds. The sweet chile peanut sauce was thick enough to stick to the tofu, wasnt overly sweet with a nice chile kick at the end! Bathrooms to left in the far back. Super clean family run place. This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the entire country. I grew up eating authentic Thai food (my mother was raised in Bangkok), I have eaten Thai food all over AK, WA, OR, CA, AZ, GA, and FL. This is by far the best. The pad Thai is done to perfection. Their Tom Ka Gai (chicken) is incredible and full of flavor. Very cute/small family owned restaurant. I have tried many Thai cuisines in Arizona and this one by far was one of the best. The food was amazing but not so much the service. My friends and I went there on a Saturday night around 7 PM and they weren't busy. Two tables max. It took them about 20 minutes just to bring us water and to take our order. Our appetizers came out after the food which is a huge pet peeve for me. Other than that the food was amazing. The spices and the presentation was perfect. I ordered the avocado egg roll and green curry with chicken and added eggplant. My friends ordered the basil friend rice and soup..Everything was delicious and fresh. We were in the mood for some Khao Soi Gai and ordered for pick up. I said I would be there in 15 minutes and arrived on time. The food was packed well and ready. A piece of cardboard was used in the bottom of the bag to prevent tipping of the soup container. The soup was pretty thick - more like a creamy sauce. We ordered medium spicy and it was very spicy - perfect for us as we love spicy food. Any spicier, though, and it would have been inedible. The chicken pieces were surprisingly dry. The noodles were a stuck-together mush in the shape of a styrofoam container. No way to separate it. This food did not taste fresh. If you have little tolerance for MSG, this is not the place for you. They say that they don't use MSG, but they may use products that contain MSG. Another name for MSG is yeast extract. There is definitely a lot in this dish and probably the others, as well. I did get sticker shock when I paid - over $16. This seems exorbitant. I'll continue my search for more Khao Soi Gai. read more

Not much seating inside to begin with and during the current social climate there is even less but that made it a more intimate setting. Decent amount of food items to choose from and I typically always gravitate towards yellow curry when I try a new Thai place and use that as a baseline for judging the food. The portion size was impressive to say the least. I found the medium spice level to be more on the warm side and it cleared out my sinuses so if you are sensitive to heat you might want to go light. I found the taste of the curry to be a bit different than what I could call normal: the only way I can describe it is this way - it was not as smooth as others I have had.
