Nacho Daddy is nacho average place -- it's AMAZING! It's a vegan person's dream. Yea there's still a lot for y'all meat eaters, but there's a full page of vegan options on the menu! And if you think about it, nacho cheese is just highly processed gooey stuff so might as well try the vegan option which tastes exactly the same. Seriously, I want to order everything on the vegan menu. I got the Vegan Loaded Nachos and it came on a huge hot skillet and it was so good. Also, make sure to check the yelp check-in deal! We got free margaritas and they were super nice and kinda strong. Slightly too strong because I was still traumatized from the tequila shots the night before, so I couldn't even finish it. The wait wasn't too bad when we got there around 11. Our group of 6 got seated within 5-10 minutes. Well after a walk down the strip all morning i was getting hungry and thanks to Yelp found Nacho Daddy and figured why not.... after all you can't got wrong w nachos. Plus the had vegetarian options ... I'm sold! Being that it was middle of the day we got seated right away. I was surprised that they had vegetarian & vegan options from nachos, to other dishes that all looked good. For starters - we got the trio dip and salsa with nachos. The queso cheese dip was good since it was cool out. I went with the impossible "chimichanga" but asked for it as a burrito and they had no issues with that. It was a nice sized burrito and was very good. My wife went with the Vegan Faajita salad and really enjoyed that. It was fresh and delicious. Now here's a tip - don't forget to check in on the yelp to get some free margaritas- I with the classic - liked it. Then my wife went with the strawberry margarita. She liked it but a bit too sweet. Nacho Daddy serves 14 different kinds of specialty, gourmet nachos. For example, the "Fajita Nacho" consists of "Marinated filet mignon, seared peppers & onions, refried beans, melted Cheddar & Jack cheese, yellow queso, cherry tomato pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and pickled onions on top of our house-made tri-colored corn chips." Yes, I cribbed from the menu here. Nacho's are not all they serve, far from it. We weren't in the mood for nacho's, though, so we made other choices from the extensive menu. We got chips and salsa with guac to accompany the entries. They were excellent. I chose Filet Mignon tacos served with rice and refried beans. The Filet Mignon tacos (huge) are served on flour tortillas with Monterey Jack cheese, roasted chipotle salsa, carmalized chipotle onions, and cilantro. They were otherworldly good. Yes, I cribbed from the menu here, too. Booze wise, they have a good selection of draft and bottled beers, and it's full bar. They certainly have you covered booze wise. The service was excellent from start to finish. This is a place that knows what it's doing. You don't necessarily need a reservation, but I recommend making one if you can. It's a popular place. I took an Uber to this location on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't packed at all and they had an amazing playlist going while I sat at the bar. Service was great and the food was just as great! It was Happy Hour but I opted for the Supreme Tostada Nacho plate which was huge. You could definitely share these nachos if you wanted. OMG, I ATE THE BUG!!! Okay so the scorpion is not a bug, but I ate it anyway!!! We made reservations to try Nacho Daddy during one of our Vegas discovery trips, and we were not disappointed. After seeing the photos and reviews on Yelp, I was more focused on trying the scorpion shot than the food itself. When the shots were brought out to us, the waitress rang her cowbell letting everyone know what was about to go down. I almost wussed out when I saw this thing lounging at the bottom of my shot glass. I imagined it would be a little crunchy like a popcorn kernel, which would probably make it doable. But the tequila bath made it look like it was given new life! I finally put on my big-girl panties, took a deep breath, and slammed it down. My strategy was to swallow it like a pill without chewing it. It almost worked, except it was a little larger than a pill, so I felt these tiny legs on the tip of my tongue, which made it even more difficult to go down! As I was struggling to swallow the scorpion with out biting it, it felt like it came alive as my tongue wrestled to get it down. I finally had to take a 2nd hit of tequila to finish it off. Obviously you only taste tequila. But the texture of the of those little legs brushing against your tongue is on a whole other level. Next time, I'll work up some liquid courage with a couple of shots minus the bug first. Now for the food. Since we had light appetites, we only ordered the sizzling shrimp tacos. The dish was proportioned perfectly for 2 people as the server brought everything out and let us prepare for a Kodak moment. Suddenly, our shrimp burst into flames before being extinguished with some delicious sauce. These tacos were Uh-May-Zing!!! The hostess Daisy was very rude, we stood at the front of the restaurant for at least 15 minutes before anyone came to check us in. As we are waiting Daisy sat another couple ahead of several people that were waiting, they didn't have a reservation. When approached about it she had an attitude and was dismissive. We were not going to ever go back, rude customer service for me ends my relationship with a place, even after going there for 10+ years. Until Teddy, I believe he was the manager rectified the situation. Our server Antonio was amazing, make sure to ask for him when you go there. He was nice and attentive to all of our needs. Just after our check-in at Planet Hollywood , my husband and I decided to check out Nacho Daddy due to its good rating on google and yelp. As we arrived, we were told that we need to wait 20-30 mins, even though it was a Tues night. We were really impressed by the ambiance and music inside the restaurant. We were in a mood to order some Tacos soo our server helped us in choosing one. We ordered their signature soft tacos in chicken and got free (virgin) strawberry margarita because of yelp check-in. We were all exited to dig into our tacos but we realized soon that these are just chicken with cheese in parathas (type of flat bread in indo-pak which is part of our staple food), and the margarita was also ok. Have been to Nacho Daddy several times, most recently earlier this week. Has become maybe my go-to restaurant for Vegas at this point. Will also say when I hear random people list their favorite Vegas restaurants, Nacho Daddy is one the most frequent spots I hear mentioned. I am also seeing just now that Yelp has Nacho Daddy as one of its 6-7 most recommended AND most reviewed restaurants, which is not at all surprising based on my experiences. Nacho Daddy definitely gives customers their money's worth in nachos - all drowned in tasty meat, cheese, and other requested toppings (hence their slogan - "Never a dry chip"). Earlier this week I had one of my favorites, the pork carnitas nachos, which was excellent as usual. Although a bit pricier, I'd also highly recommend the filet mignon nachos. Other interesting variations include the southern fried chicken nachos, hot buffalo chicken nachos, and spicy shrimp nachos. Again, Nacho Daddy has a huge selection of nacho offerings to the point that nearly everyone should be able to find something in the list of offerings they like. The restaurant is also a full Tex-Mex spot so has other food offerings, such as enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, tacos, etc. The food here is of very good quality - don't think you'll walk away disappointed regardless of what you get. Also appreciate the fact that for several years now, Nacho Daddy has had a Yelp special where, after checking in to Nacho Daddy on Yelp, you receive a free house margarita ($11 value) with the purchase of an entree. I've gotten this deal 2-3 times - half the time I present the deal to the server they just ring up the free drink on the house without actually redeeming the coupon, IMO, this is for sure a top 3-4 spot in all of Vegas! read more

My wife and I stopped in to have a quick bite and drinks. We started with the queso, which came with a small, lit candle placed below to keep it warm.
