Be prepared to wait if you are coming during peak lunch hours, we waited 20 minutes and arrived at 1pm on a weekend. I have not had yunnan noodles before. They're so good! The noodles are thick and bouncy rice noodles, so they don't hold the flavor of the soup well, but are fun to eat. I liked the golden beef one more as it had more flavor. The traditional one seems like a light bone broth.

I want to update my earlier review, which I wrote shortly after lunch. For the rest of the day, I was extremely thirsty despite drinking a lot of water. My husband didn't have the same issue, so it may just depend on what you order.

Food :4/5 Service :5/5 Ambiance :4/5 Traditional crossing the bridge. It's quite a new experience. Served with quail eggs , chicken , pork, noodles and soup. You put he ingredients in the soup and bam in 3 min your dish is ready. Very nice soup broth. Tasting yummy. Braised beef noddles schezwan : tasty and slight tinge of spicy. This noodles is also delicious and yummy Dessert with coconut snow and jelly. This is our favorite. It's one of the best desserts we had recently. Must try Service is friendly and great. Ambiance is pretty neat and decent.

Opened at 430p, no wait to be seated. It was pretty warm and felt a bit humid inside. Booths are large and can fit a good sized group. They brought waters right away, all ordering is by QR code, takeout station at front of restaurant has a self service ordering iPad for to-go orders. All dishes were very light on flavor, and ingredients fresh. Expected more heat in the chili wonton soup, and the menu didnt indicate adding a egg to the ramen dish would be fried, we expected a soft boiled egg which was disappointing. The boba milk tea was very mild with flavor as well. Felt relatively self-serve even for dine in, all dishes were pretty bland, Himalayan salt did little to remedy as the only seasoning on the table. I wouldn't say I would come back based on this experience and the light flavor profiles, but did appreciate the fresh ingredients.

The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside. What really made this dish stand out was the seasoning powder on top -- savory, slightly spicy, and incredibly addictive. Every bite had that satisfying crunch, and the seasoning clung to the ridges of the potatoes so well that the flavor was evenly distributed. Simple, bold, and done right. The small-pot rice noodles came out hot and comforting, with a deep, aromatic broth that tasted like it had been simmered with care. The rice noodles were smooth and springy, soaking up the soup beautifully. The mixed toppings noodles were excellent once fully mixed. After stirring everything together, every single strand of noodle was coated in sauce, making each bite rich and flavorful.

soo good love the noodle it is soo tastey!yeahhhhhhhh I love the food and noodle and it

Food: The noodles were very tasty and authentic. It gets served in this pot that retains the heat well so the noodles don't get cold. The pig ears have good flavor, are crunchy, and are spicy. Service: The service is good. They don't check up on you. Ambiance: The restaurant is very casual and clean. They play popular songs.

Stopped for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Good food and quick service! I thought the portions size were spot on for the price. Would recommend for a lunch spot!

I really enjoyed the braised beef noodles I got and was still thinking about it when I left. I wished there was more in the bowl! I think the broth was flavorful and the noodles were yummy. There was a weird mixup that happened with our bill, but they were nice about it and didn't completely dissuade me from going again.

We came here on a Sunday for lunch. It was a nice warm and comforting food. We ordered two rice noodle soup dishes and they were both quite tasty. The broths were different but both very flavorful. The only downside was that the cleaning detergent they used to wipe down the table was very strong, so even after sitting down for our meal, the smell didn't dissipate for the entire meal which made the experience kind of unpleasant.

When I arrived, the restaurant was about 1/3 full. The place was pretty quiet and didn't seem very lively, but there were others that showed up after me so that seemed pretty promising. The server sat us down but didn't mention about the QR code on the table so I sat there for about a min or two before I noticed. The whole menu and ordering was done all on your phone for the whole table. Not very much interaction. We ordered the spicy BBQ chicken skewers, the stewed beef rib noodle soup, and the normal beef flank noodle soup. The order came out relatively fast. The spicy BBQ chicken skewer was not what I expected. I was expecting a skewer like a kabob, but I received a few skewers with what seems to be thin pieces of ground chicken. The flavor was alright, but the chicken was VERY dry, which made it hard to enjoy. My stewed beef rib noodle soup wasn't bad. I got it with normal sized noodles and some beef flank on the side. The noodles were fine, but the soup could've been warmer. I was expecting a hot bowl of soup. The flavor was lacking a little, but it became much better after I added some chili oil. The rib meat wasn't bad. It had a a couple bites that were a tad tough but the flavor was kinda there. Honestly the extra flank pieces I had were better. Much better overall and it was pretty tender. I didn't really try my friend's bowl, but she got her soup with wide noodles. They were a bit wider than she expected. She made note that her noodles did seem undercooked and they had a slight doughy chew to them. She said it would've been better if it was cooked a little longer. Overall I enjoyed my soup. There are some things I would change, but I think it was a good first experience for something I've never had before.

Xi'an Noodles seemed like a promising place for biang biang noodles in Bellevue. We went in for a…read moreweekend lunch, only to be terribly disappointed. This restaurant is mostly self service; there are two kiosks right in front for ordering and a table full of prefilled drink cups. I think the only upside to this restaurant is the free cups of mango tea, which are slightly sweetened and fruity. I wouldn't say they are very mango forward though. Hot Oil Biang Noodles ($13.99) - The biang biang noodles here aren't very good. They seem to be stretched somewhat, but then I feel like they take shortcuts. Instead of being almost completely stretched via bouncing the noodles on the table, they only stretch it probably half as much as normal, then they cut the dough lengthwise several times - this is why I can see multiple clear corner pieces in the noodle instead of it being relatively straight. They also don't care to make it consistent in thickness. This causes major issues because the thinner parts are soft and mushy while the thicker corners are doughy and slightly undercooked. I don't know how, but the noodles also clump together, so in some bites, I'm eating three strands of mushy noodles right on top of each other. The sauce here isn't much better. It's supposed to be aromatic, blistering hot oil mixed with chili/vinegar and aromatics poured directly on the noodles. The problems here are multifold. Firstly, they don't drain the noodles properly, resulting in an excessive amount of water diluting the sauce. Secondly, they use far too much vinegar, making the sauce overly acidic. The vinegar is by far the dominant flavor in the dish. While the dish seems like it will be spicy due to the red color oil, it's almost completely diluted out by the vinegar and noodle cooking water. The dish is basically not spicy at all due to these factors. (2/5) Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodle Soup ($14.99) - This dish suffers from the same noodle issues as above, but the soup format improves some aspects slightly, but worsens other aspects. Since the soup is hot and the noodles are soaked in the broth, they soften more readily, so the soft portions are even more mushy than the "dry" noodle. The thicker portions are nice and bouncy though. The soup itself is relatively flavorful, slightly gamey, and tastes like it actually is a lamb bone broth, but it doesn't really have depth of flavor. Again, it's not really spicy at all. The lamb on top seems like thinly sliced hot pot lamb, pan fried until very dry. If not for the fact that the lamb is sliced thin, it would be extremely tough. It does have a nice fragrant cumin flavor though. (2/5) Those were the two worst bowls of noodles I've had in a long time. I wasn't particularly impressed with the noodles at the U District location of Xi'an Noodles either, but they were far better than these two steaming piles of excrement. Bathrooms - Two unisex room shared with Snowy Village. One was locked though

The space is small and a little narrow, so seating can be pretty limited. My parents and I were lucky enough to grab the last table, and we ordered 4 items: the dry noodle with scallion oil and braised pork chop, the secret dumplings, large wonton, and salty soy milk (dumplings and wonton aren't pictured). I was most curious and most disappointed by the scallion noodle and pork chop. The portion size seemed too small to justify its price point, and I felt the pork chop tasted dry. The noodles however, had a great flavor, so if I were to try the place again, I'd only go for the scallion oil noodles. The dumplings were amazing. They were a little pricey but worth the cost, and worth the restaurant name. The dumplings were larger than most dumpling places I've been to, and the meat and soup inside were super flavorful. The wontons were also good, though it can't beat the pan fried dumplings. The salty soy milk was a very unique experience- it was thicker, rich and flavorful than other salty soy milk soups that I'm used to. It almost has an umami, seafood-ish taste to it. Though I'm not a big fan of soy milk, I enjoyed this dish more than expected! After our meal, we got to choose some magnets to take home, which was a creative and sweet gift. For the overall price point, I don't think I'd be coming here regularly for a meal. I may drop by for choice items like the pan fried dumplings!

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

I can on New Years eve for lunch and the place was open with no restrictions or any forewarning. But, I have to say that the place was severely understaffed. I think there was one waiter that was helping out the entire store. This was already off to a bad start. I go ahead and order the combo along with a few other stuff from the rest of the group. So the food starts coming out as expected which was good. Then the appetizers got stuck in prep. Which I was like ok that happens it's busy and they might be understaffed. But then I had to ask for the drinks so already it's off to a bad start. The drinks came and felt watered down. So let's talk about the food real quick. Its ok. But after the third time coming I have noticed a decrease in the quality of the paired dishes and the amount you get. Also there was a strong feeling of over teasing with a lack luster flavor profile. So to add the final straw, we were all done and had to wait 15 minutes for the last side dish to come. It's always busy around mealtimes, but luckily there are plenty of seats, and we rarely have to wait. We also order takeout from here pretty often. For our most recent order, we got two personal combos (main + appetizer + drink) through a Chinese app, which frequently has discounts. I'm a big fan of their takeout containers--they keep the noodles and soup nicely separated. The takeout bag is super sturdy, and the popcorn chicken has just the right amount of spice to really hit the spot. That said, I'd still recommend dining in, because the food is easily about three times better. I also think the portion of popcorn chicken is more generous when you dine in. Plus, if you finish the soup, you'll be very full. My go-to order is the fatty beef tomato soup with rice (I know, I know--it's a noodle place, but I like it better with rice). My husband always gets the original Yunnan rice noodle. We've tried the golden soup version, but it's just not as good. The prices are reasonable... well, reasonable for Bellevue .

Absolutely loved the lavender foam. It was perfectly balanced and perfect amount of sweetness. I'd get it again Seasonal Purple Sweet Potato Mont Blanc- this looked better than it tasted the sweet potato itself was more savory and needed the soft serve to make it taste more like a dessert. Once you make your way to the soft serve, spoon a little bit of the sweet potato with a full spoon of soft serve, then it'll be good, in my opinion. Kohaku Matcha Parfait- delicious. Loved the little bit of strawberry and the warabi mochi. Probably not the best matcha parfait I've had but I'd get it again. Got the Sakura Tendon Set to go for dinner on the plane. While it was tasty, the crispiness didn't hold up so I would not recommend taking it to go/eating it at room temp. We've gone to this place many times. Each time we spent over $100 and everything used to be good…read more But the services are visibly getting worse. The wait time for food is longer, the servers are cold and careless. The last visit was disappointing because of the extremely cold attitude of the servers. They made me feel I came to beg for food.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and the wait wasn't bad at all, always a good sign for a weekend…read morevisit. First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

This is seriously a hole in the wall place. It's right next to YGF but it seems like no one knows…read moreabout it. There's only a few seatings here so mostly people do take out. We came during lunch and was the only people there. We got: Mongolian beef lunch specials -- came with fried rice and egg drop soup A dry noodle dish with minced beef and veggie Pan fried dumplings Honestly they weren't the best but they weren't bad either. It was actually nostalgic of home cooking. Portions was really good considering the price. You can't really get an entree with fried rice and soup for $10-12 these days...but this place has it and good portions Dumplings could have gotten more flavors but not bad. Noodle was my favorite hands down. My little boys love them too. I hope this place gets a little more business as I can see myself coming here often when I'm lazy of cooking but want something like a home cook meal

The food overall is average, quite oily and salty overall. The garlic green beans were REALLY oily, don't recommend. Their portion sizes are very generous for the price though! An okay spot, but one of the worse restaurants in a plaza of great restaurants.
