I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Last night, we went and it did not disappoint! I made reservations for 7:30pm on Open Table on a Friday night. We were about 20 minutes early. The place was full both inside and out. They cleaned up as quick as they could and we sat within 5 minutes. Service was FANTASTIC from everyone we came in contact with, but specifically with our server, AJ. She was friendly and service-focused. She checked in with us regularly and made sure we were happy and comfortable. There were four of us at dinner. We started with Mozzarella In Carrozza (mozzarella croquettes) -YUMMY!- and waffle fries. We each got pizza. Two people got pepperoni (boring, sorry lol) and they really enjoyed it. One person got Prosciutto (not marinara based). I tried a piece and loved it. Now for what I got... Capricciosa (mozzarella, mushrooms, olive, artichoke, boiled egg, prosciutto). Holy moly, it was delish. I took the rest home and just had it for breakfast. LOL Good experience, delicious food. We'll be back! read more

Took a long time to order. Safety Pluses - Online menu, Delivery services available, online ordering, outdoor seating Food Review: Arugula Salad ($12) Arugula, pears, gorgonzola, walnuts, dried cranberry & citrus was a good sized and solid salad. Nice balance of ingredients. 8.5/10 Spaghetti alle Vongole ($26) Spaghettoni, Manila clams ,garlic, breadcrumbs in white wine sauce was made using gluten free - vegan penne tube pasta so it wasn't the best. I stopped by this restaurant after going on a very, very long walk. I was originally looking for a different pizza place but stumbled upon this place. It was a great decision! The interior is beautiful but I opted to sit outside because it was a nice day. There was another pair sitting outside too. It wasn't busy since I ate around 4pm. The tables on the patio were very pretty, all yellow chairs and even had a blanket in case customers get cold. Paired with the music, I felt like I in another country. I ordered a glass of moscato and the Mozzarella Prosciutto pizza with Truffle Oil. The waiter also gave me a small bowl of a spicy oil to add if I wanted. The moscato was refreshing and the pizza was cheesy and yummy. I do wish the crust was slightly thicker because my prosciutto was weighing down the slice. Service was good. The food I got here was mediocre and amateurish. I got the polpette, pizza rosmarino (potato pizza), and four cheese pizza. The polpette were dense and unappetizing. The pizza rosmarino is advertised as having beautiful thinly sliced potatoes coated in garlic and rosemary, but the potatoes I got were chunky, diner style, tasteless and undercooked. The pizza overall was very bland. The four cheese was overpowered with smoked provola and the rest was just tasteless. At the end of the meal I had that feeling of regret where I just wished I hadn't wasted all the calories (and money!) on that food. read more

LOVED this place. We were in the marina on a Friday night having a cocktail, so thought we would go here for dinner based on the excellent reviews. We got here around 6pm and there was plenty of seats. We got the fried mozzarella - which I will dream about - 4 pieces of perfectly fried fresh mozzarella - piping hot, crispy and everything you could possibly want to eat after a couple of drinks. These are not ordinary mozzarella sticks, they are much, much more. There were 4 pieces and hubby loving let me have 3 of them. He's a keeper!!! We also split the arugula salad - which took away some of the guilt from the cheese mentioned above. It was a bit of a tough sell, but got my hubby to acquiesce to order the pizza with the fresh ricotta and mortadella. This will only sound enticing to some people as a description of this pizza, but it was like the VERY best bologna sandwich you have ever had. It had plenty of super fresh ricotta and pistachios (and shaved mortadella) on a tender yet blistered crust. WOW, yummers!! - we took half of it home and it was also just as good cold outta the fridge the next day. Our waitress (Alexandrea?) was sweet and efficient. Love this place! Always very quick service, very kind servers, lovely ambiance and great food. I usually get the sausage pizza, pasta and salad. The highlight for me for this place is the sausage truffle and mushroom pasta as well as the arugula salad. That pasta and salad rocked my world. Come check out 'Napizza!  It's as authentic as it gets when it comes to Neapolitan style pizza in the entire Bay Area! SO GOOD! The pizza chef here is a third generation certified pizzaiolo from Naples who makes pizzas just as good as I enjoyed in Naples, Italy.  Seriously.  They're AMAZING.  Yes. Pizzas are THAT good. The pizza dough is perfectly chewy with a nice crisp exterior crust and was consistently prepared to perfection for all three pizzas we ordered.  Check out my pics and see that nice puffy edging and nice blisters.  And the toppings are all super fresh. I also really like that there's an equal number of both white (bianca) and red (rosa) pizzas, which is something you hardly ever see in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I prefer white pizzas, but most people on the West coast like red. Nestled inside the mortadella pieces shaped into flowers are good sized chunks of fresh and creamy stracciatella.  The combination of stracciatella, fresh mozzarella and mortadella is 100% spot on. It's hard to choose just one favorite pizza because they were ALL soooo good, but if I had to choose, I'd say this was my personal fave of the three. * Pizza Americana Try this fun pizza! I wasn't sure about this when it first caught my eye on the menu, but it's really good!  Normally I'm not even a hot dog fan, but the kosher dogs are tasty.  And the fries stayed really crispy (dunno how they did this).  Not greasy at all, even with the fries.  It works and we loved this! It was my dining companion's favorite pizza. * Pizza Margherita Excellent!  You can see and taste the freshness of the light San Marzano tomato sauce.  And of course, that perfect dough.  The thin base of the pizza held up really well without being soggy at all, even at the end of the meal. ~ A M B I A N C E ~ Cool, lively and relaxed Marina vibes. Had dinner last night at Napizza on Scott Street in the Marina! This was my second time but the best time! First of all the staff was very warm and friendly greeting us as we walked in. My friend and I split the arugula salad. The perfect salad to split. It was sooo good! I ordered the Norma pizza and my friend ordered the Salsiccia pizza! The crust excellent! With all the vegetables and cheese you would think the pizzas might get soggy. Not so!! Pizzas were great! We shared a bottle of the Barolo! Amazing! We passed on dessert because we were so full! Came to this Restaurant all the way from Fairfield, CA. Me and my partner were very excited to try the food, seeing that everything looked delicious here. When I first enter the restaurant, I was welcomed by one server. But soon after the hostess comes up to us, she asks us if we have a reservation. mind you. There was only 1 TABLE!!! Inside and probably 3-4 outside. No welcome in or nothing. I simply told her "no" and she said "let me check if I can seat you" mind you. There was 10 empty tables inside. And I don't even think she checked. And sat us at a little table. I nicely asked her "oh sorry can we sit at this table" (it was a booth table) and she simply said "oh um ok". As soon as we sit there. One of the servers told us to move and sit at a smaller table. As soon as me and my partner sat down. We longer felt comfortable in the restaurant. So we just got up and left.. Also, I have been in the food industry for 7 years and I KNOW it is common sense to treat customers with hospitality no matter what. Nah to Napizza! We came early on a Sunday evening and got seated without a reservation. The techno, pop music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. The bathroom was not clean and had no paper towels. The service was prompt and we didn't wait long for food. Sadly not a single thing was good. Vesuvio Mocktails - not spicy and so sweet I kept pouring water in so I could drink it. Montanare - sad, cold fried dough balls with a little sauce, a dusting of cheese, and no favor. Fennel, arugula ,citrus salad - so over dressed with lemon/acid it was hard to eat. Pizza Norma - Too much sauce and toppings that somehow added up to no flavor. The slices were so floppy the only way to get it in your mouth is with a fork and knife. Classic pizza fail. Pesto Gnocchi - Just don't order this. It's like a giant, green glue ball. read more

I'd been to their other/neighbor Italian restaurant a few times (which I give 5 stars) and wanted to try Napizza for about a year now. I ordered the Salsiccia Pizza, it was ready in exactly 6 mins from time of placement to the "order is ready" text, and I picked it up about 3 mins later, as I was around the corner. I got home just a few blocks away, and opened the box to realize it wasn't really hot, and had a very off taste. Ate 2 pieces to hope for something better. But I got sick, so that sucked.
