This is THE BEST Chinese food I,have had since moving to TX in,2000! The cashew chicken,and pork fried rice are DELICIOUS! One warning though, if you order online, its best to call afterwards to ensure your order is actually placed. What can i really say about this place. Mg the min i walk in it's like OK your ready to be seated and get down to buisness. My family really love's this place and enjoy eating here because they have it all. And that's not it it's a great place to enjoy a great meal and spend family time and, the waitresses are very nice. i'm just so happy that my family enjoy this place and at the end even though we leave with a full stomache we also leave with a great big smile. The staff is extremely rude and the prices seem to change often. If you carry out, you might be charged for sauce and you might not. The food is never consistent. I've given this place a few different shots on a few different occasions, and I think I'm done with it. I'd rather make my own Crab Rangoon. read more

If you like eating Chinese food in the Barrio, this place is for you! There is a party room in the back that was rented out to some Mexican celebration and we were seated right next to the party room doors. That Mexican circus music was so loud, we couldn't enjoy our dinner and, forget about trying to have a pleasant conversation. The Mexicans were rude, leaving the doors open and not caring that they were disturbing diners. The waitresses didn't seem to mind the noise, they did nothing to control it. The food was awful. I agree with Jason B. and, hoping not to suffer the same fate. Some stuff was edible, most was old, stale and seemed like a risk to eat it. I tried to tell myself the circus music was why the food seemed so bad but, I think not. The aftertaste is so bad, so lasting, I'm watching for peach pits. If i could give it less i would. Called the restaurant at around 5:30 and ask for buffet price for tonight. Was told 7.69 without drink. The website states lunch 7 whatever all day tuesday i got my check for almost 22.00 and we drank water for two and was informed by the waiter after explaining my quote and the ad and him talking to the manager "so sorry" and basically too bad for you. This place is great. A lot of different Chinese dishes, sushi, ribs (no limit) and pizza , chicken fingers for the kids. Deserts are pretty good too. They even have a chocolate fountain. Not sure what more you could want. Price is super affordable for what you get. You can order carry out or delivery (for larger orders). Inside is spacious. Staff are attentive and polite. I do not recommend. Went to eat dinner here at 6:30 PM on Monday 10/28/2019. It cost $30 for my husband and I, and the food was awful. Everything we tried from the buffet was cold, stale and rubbery. I gave up on finding real food and thought I'd hit the dessert buffet, but after getting some pudding I couldn't find a clean spoon that didn't have old food stuck on it. My husband finally got someone to come to the bar in the back and had the guy cook him up something fresh so he could at least have a warm meal, but we had already lost most of our appetite by then. The sweet tea was good, but that's the only positive thing I can say. We had a chuckle over the "funeral home" music they were playing, because it's obvious this place is dying and if the health department had shown up, they would have been shut down. This is the WORST Chinese food "restaurant" I've ever stepped foot into. None, of the food was good. The waitress wasn't bad, but the lady at the front is a B*#&$. I was trying to explain to her how terrible her establishment was and that I didn't want any part of it after experiencing part of plate one and none of plate two. She still expected me to pay full price even though I wouldn't have fed it to my dog. Seriously, anything that was fried was hard as a rock from sitting there all day, and if it wasn't fried it was soggy or tasted funny. Awful, terrible, no good, shiiiitake mushroom of a place. Avoid at all costs. I'm not sure if you caught on or not but this place EFFING SUCKS. Don't waste your money. This place isn't bad, but its also not great. Has a good selection of food of different types, and its all pretty fresh. They also have sushi and stir fry which is really nice. The service was excellent and our waitress was super friendly and courteous. I've had better Chinese food though, and the price was way more than I expected - we ended up paying $30 for 2 people. read more

The food is fine. There is a decent selection, and the rice tends to be fresh. I've certainly had better, though not in Denton. The lunch price is reasonable. All of that in my opinion is worth 4/5 stars. That said, I will not willingly go back. The issue? How tacky the waitstaff (particularly one waitress) is regarding tips. Twice now (once during dinner in November) and now again yesterday at lunch, this waitress has brought the bill halfway through the meal and pressured my group multiple times to pay in order that she may sniff out our tip. If the tip is not up to her standard, she will show her displeasure with a scowl and expectation of more money. If the tip is pleasing, she makes noises of satisfaction and collusion with the diner. Beyond being embarrassing for all involved, it looks terrible for the restaurant. Is she not being paid enough or is this behavior just OK with management? read more

After reading all the awful reviews, I had to add my two cents. I like this place. We have two small kids (2 and 4) and they like it too. We usually go on Friday or Saturday in the early evening when they have snow crab legs. The sushi is decent. The ice cream is good. They have a huge variety and the waitresses take good care of us and dote on our kids. Very kid-friendly. The waitresses sometimes do sweet extra things, like buying our kids tattoos out of the vending machine. And for about $30 we can feed our family of four, which is nice. read more

This cheap Asian buffet establishment is officially the bar for all Asian buffets to match. The food is just the right amount of mediocrity. It's fresh enough you won't get sick, it's tasty enough that you'd want to go back for more, but it also has the right amount of stale and massed-produced quality that makes you feel like you're at a buffet. And yes, that last bit is a compliment. It's what gives these restaurants the character that their customers crave. The selection is pretty decent too, and everything on the menu is very much edible. Well, except maybe the pizza, assuming you can even call it that. It looks like a piece of dough with a couple grams of cheese and maybe a pepperoni or two. Otherwise, everything is up to standards here. The only thing not mediocre is the service, which is actually very much better than most restaurants I've been to. So in a way, I guess I set the proverbial bar pretty high, then. Regardless, if you're looking for a decent Asian buffet (if you're expecting gourmet, then you are definitely looking at the wrong kind of restaurant), look no further. read more

The last time me and my family went the food tasted kind of tried out and anytime that we need a refill on drinks, we had to pretty much go and get the drinks ourself until they saw us getting the refill and did it for us Apparently the owners of the previous restuarant that went out of business thought that changing the name would probably help but yet the food still sucks. (Don't really know if these are the same owners) Out of the 8 of us that went, we all ended up with the shits. I know that thats not a family trait so there's only one other explination!!!!! My friend and I seen an ad saying "New" in front of the title, so we thought we'd give it another try. We were told at 1:45 that if we were to continue eating past 2, the price would be higher. When we asked how much higher, we were told the price would double. Are you kidding me? It's an all you can eat buffet with no signage indicating a higher price at 2 pm. One price from open until 1:59, double the price from 2 until 4, what can they possibly charge for 4 pm until close? We left $10 (half of what was owed) and the waitress chased us down in the parking lot to tell us that they called the cops on us, and that it was all on tape. I told her "good, I'm glad...let's see what they have to say". Shortly after that, the manager came out and told us to never come back. No problem!! The food had my friend in the restroom with food poisoning. Do I seriously have to give them one star? They don't deserve that! read more
