I am absolutely coming back soon! Nigel's pricing is on par with almost every brunch restaraunt around Long Beach, but this is truly a stand out spot. There is dock side seating, the pink floating booths and the pink Duffy. The Pink, green and gold decor of the restaurant is pictured perfect. This was my first time here and it's absolutely darling. Everything is pink and most people walking through the door were wearing that color to match the aesthetics. Our waitress was very nice and flexible, and you can tell that the staff is on top of their stuff. This place takes reservations for brunch since it can get pretty packed in there. The food was good. Nigel's is an all-pink, velvety, photo-friendly spot that nails the fun, festive girls' outing vibe. I went with seven of my coworkers for our holiday party because we'd seen the pink theme and thought it would be a cute way to celebrate. The interior and bar are genuinely pretty and feel like the main event. We had a reservation and requested indoor seating but were placed on the patio. I wouldn't sit outside again. The sun was intense with no curtain to block it, which made the patio seating uncomfortable. Service was a bright spot. Our server was friendly and attentive, which helped. Food was hit or miss. Best bite of the meal: the Anchor's Tuna Tartare. Best drink: the Sweet & Spiced cocktail, which was fruity with a little spice and really enjoyable. For something lighter, the Little Gem Caesar Salad is a good pick. I ordered the Lux Lobster Roll: big pieces of lobster on buttery toasted bread, but it needed more seasoning (the lemon helped). The Seaside Crispy Asparagus Fries were tough to eat because the woody ends were left on, so they were chewy. I also wouldn't recommend the deviled eggs. One consistent issue: nothing arrived hot, everything was more lukewarm by the time it hit the table. Parking is easy since it's in a shopping center, but it's easy to miss the first time. Look near Nordstrom Rack, then follow the small sign down the stairs toward the boat docks. Bottom line: come for the vibes and drinks. I went to Nigel's on Sunday with my girls, and overall it was a cute spot. The aesthetic is really pretty. I loved all the pink details, it definitely gives a fun, girly vibe that's perfect for a girls' outing. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. I ordered the pink lemon drop and the chicken and waffles. The drink was good, and the waffle itself was tasty. However, the chicken was not seasoned, which was disappointing and kind of threw off the whole dish for me. I got the girls together for a galentines Saturday brunch in early February and Nigel's was the it place. Reservations were easy to make which is appreciated. Otherwise there are two entrances to Nigel's one from the outside walkway by Tantalum-- this is for those with Duffy/cabana reservations. For regular reservations entry is through the parking structure it's a bit confusing but you will see a cute Nigel's Barbie box to take photos and a stand to check in with the host. Once we checked in we were seated quickly for our 1pm reservation which was appreciated as they were busy! All the cocktails had a splash of glitter or pink and ranged from $18-$20. I thought the margarita was delicious and perfect for lunch brunch. The food was actually delicious and is a solid 4 star rating in my book. Everyone enjoyed their dish so no complaints. The only ding in stars was service. It started off strong but dwindled incredibly. I wanted to order two bottles of wine ( white, rose) for the girls. I kid you not, not once, but three times the waitress came back saying they didn't have that bottle. Of course, the higher end bottles were available which I ended up agreeing on but honestly they should have given it to me at the price of the first bottles request. She kept saying oh yes we do have that and came back oh no I'm sorry. This happened three times with the white 4 times with the rose. Ridiculous. Then more than half way through our server goes on break so we had a girl fill in. Sweet but really lacked. The whole thirty minutes our server was gone asked we ordered the rosé bottle, never got it, asked for dessert, never got it. When our server came back from lunch she apologized and told us nothing was ever put in. We ended up passing on the dessert and just waited for the rose. I base a restaurant on the merit of its food and customer service and not its look. Service: Carly and Megan were my bartender. For the sake of keeping this brief, I'm going to refer to both of them as "She" or (for plurality) "They" for simplification (they also were interchangeable since they were perfect bartenders). Even though they were busy, they greeted me as soon as I sat down. Despite being busy, they asked me how I was doing and what was new since I last saw them. They ALMOST convinced me to get food, but I was only there for drinks. Speaking of DRINKS, they were unequivocally the best I've had. First time here for a friend's birthday dinner and WOW! I'll just say if you love pink Christmas you're in for a treat! The entire restaurant is decked out with multiple pink decorations and Christmas trees! The vibe is very girly and cute. There are so many photo opportunities, I would definitely come dressed up every time. The service was amazing as well! We made a reservation and were sat right away. The food was amazing! The portions are on the smaller end but it's definitely worth it. I would recommend the fries and Cesar salad and pasta. The drinks were very cute as well. Especially the pink one and the Glinda one. Parking was really easy just parked in between the Nordstrom and Ralph's there plenty and no charge. 10/10 would come again. I heard brunch is really good so looking forward to trying that as well. I took my daughter for her 24th birthday . The place was cute. Upon arrival. There was plenty of parking. She got to feel like the star that she is on the pink carpet. They seated us on a table near a bookshelf. Unfortunately, the seats were beige, and they were dirty. The food selection was limited during a weekday. The food was okay but not for The price. My daughter got an espresso martini and I got a another cocktail. We also had the charcuterie board which was definitely lacking. She got the mushroom risotto and I got a grilled cheese with fries since I couldn't get the Chilaquiles that I wanted. I was informed they are only served on the weekends. We also ordered the butter cake for her birthday dessert, and they brought her out a little ice cream dessert. The butter cake was not good at all. Our waitress was helpful, but she was also training another waitress the same day so we felt a lot of pressure to order more and more items. I also ordered a Sprite that was poured into a glass and a gnat immediately landed in it. Nevertheless, I couldn't finish it. The restaurant sits on a canal so there were gnats , everywhere. We also went on the Duffy boat ride, which made the experience very pleasant the little driver, a young man was long blonde hair was very informative and sweet. This review is for brunch. When I made my reservation I intended it for the lunch menu. And the menu and website brunch ends at 2pm but it's actually 3pm. The brunch menu is severely lacking variety. 3/5 steak and eggs. Both my steak and eggs weren't cooked correctly. The steak was more medium then medium rare and the eggs were nowhere close to over medium. They were extremely undercooked I don't even think it was over easy. The breakfast potatoes are tiny and the toast shouldn't be there if they don't offer jelly or butter or anything to go on it. 4/5: when we sat down they said they had a full bar service. I ordered a Shirley temple and they did warn me they have a pomegranate version they do. So if I think of it as a pomegranate mocktail and not a Shirley temple to be fair, it was decent. 5/5 lily's spritz my friend enjoyed it a lot 2/5 service wasn't great. The entrance from the parking lot, not the parking structure isn't really manned we waited 10min for anyone to come help us and 3 other parties were also waiting and we weren't sure we were in the right place. The Duffy attendants were there but since they didn't handle the restaurant while friendly weren't really helpful. The server also wasn't friendly and you could tell was just trying to get us to move along. The entrance connected to the parking structure seems to be the main entrance so if you go try to enter through there instead Ambiance 4/5 the decor is lovely and they even had a dancer in the bar area. Late post - 11/01/25 My girl friends surprised me for my birthday at Nigel's for brunch. There are two entrances to get into this place. 1. Through the lower level parking garage and 2. The walkway in between Nordstrom Racks and the lower level parking garage. This was my first time here, so I used the walkway in between Nordstrom Racks and the lower level parking garage. My girl friends were greeted by the hostess and checked in since they were there first. I arrived shortly after. We didn't wait too long to be seated. We walked in passing the cabanas and there was an area where you can "ring for champagne". The restaurant was a bright color of hot pink. And there were colors of gold, white, and greenery. It was a cute aesthetic. Very chic. We were seated outdoors looking into the marina. We were there for brunch and their menu had some delicious items! One of my girl friends ordered the Sassy Avocado Toast, the other ordered Garden Scrambled, and I had La Reina Pork Carnitas Chilaquiles. The chilaquiles was a good size. I was only able to finish half of it because it was quite filling. It was very delicious! I highly recommend it. The carnitas was juicy and spicy level was moderate. It was perfect for me. No extra sauce needed. I had it the next day and it was still tasty! For drinks, we ordered a mocktail, Lily's Spritz. It's a non-alcoholic wine with guava & fresa syrup, fresh lemon, club soda. It's cute color of pink. Looked like we had a fancy cocktail :) it was refreshing! Desert, we shared a chocolate cake along with a cute birthday cupcake! The overall service was great. Me and friends have been going to anchors away for years and have seen Nigel's go from dust and a small area with a few chairs to a fully blown restaurant now and it's amazing at how it's all came Together! Me and my cousin came here early December on a Friday evening and almost missed our reservation trying to find parking so definitely come a bit early to make sure you find something! Me and the cousin just kept saying how much we loved the pink decor and the staff jackets! Me and my cousin split the little gem ceaser salad and each ordered the chicken piccata perfection ($24). The atmosphere of this restaurant is gorgeous, with the interior reminding you of retro Miami. The food was delicious and the flavors definitely connected to the waterfront vibes. We were in Seal Beach looking for a nice place to have dinner, and came across this spot through a google search. We didn't know anything about this place, and from our understanding it's fairly new. For starters it's a bit difficult to find, tucked in behind a big shopping center. You either can access it through a hidden underground parking garage or a small nondescript path. Once you find it though, you can't miss it. Probably one of the defining things about this spot is its unique style. There's a very curated kitschy aesthetic throughout the whole space, and it's doused in pink lighting. From my understanding they even have cabanas and mini boats (these are not open yet) that one can dine in for an extra fee. It could have been because I didn't look up anything besides the menu, that everything was a bit overstimulating for me when we came in for dinner. I can imagine this spot would be perfect for brunch, but if you're looking for a more lowkey dinner, this might not be the spot. Still, I appreciate the fun and novelty of the space and would definitely come back for the right occasion. Food wise, everything we ordered was solid. Their menu has a good range of options, but is almost identical to nearby spots like Nicks on 2nd. Maybe they're connected restaurants, but the menu is almost completely the same to me. My fried chicken sandwich was good, but could have used a bit more flavor overall. My partners Chicken Piccata, and our Asparagus fries were very tasty though and the highlight of our meal. The portions are large, and you will definitely not leave hungry. There's not much to say about the service beyond there wasn't much of it. While the manager/owner dropped by our table multiple times (and even offered us a Duffy boat ride,) our server was scarce. We had to actively ask for refills on our water multiple times, and we would go long stretches with no water at all. Everyone was friendly and there was nothing seriously wrong, but things like water and checking in are basics. I got the sense that they were understaffed, as we were seated and even greeted by one server, but then served by a different one. Probably since they're new they're still getting a handle on everything so this may be different if you visit in the future. I'm glad that we stopped by Nigel's because it's a very unique spot. Niguel's is the perfect spot for a girls' brunch. This location is beyond cute, very pink, very colorful, and absolutely a girls-girls brunch vibe. I came here with my girls to celebrate Galentine's Day, and it honestly couldn't have been a better choice... It does get very busy, so I highly recommend making reservations in advance, especially for a Sunday morning. They give you a 90-minute window with your reservation, which makes sense given how popular it is. We sat inside and had great seats overlooking the water outside, it was such a nice view. They also have cabanas, but just a heads-up: reserving one comes with a $600 food and drink minimum. Definitely more worth it for a bachelorette or a big birthday celebration with a larger group.. The staff was very nice, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. This is truly a girly spot, there were maybe two or three men there with groups of women, but the majority of guests were women, all dressed up and looking cute.. Lots of pink outfits, dresses, and full Galentine's Day energy. I noticed several groups celebrating Galentine's as well... The venue itself has tons of cute photo ops, and you can walk down closer to the water. They even have pink Duffy boats you can take pictures in for free, which was such a fun touch.. Food-wise, I ordered the ahi tuna salad and was pleasantly surprised, it was very delicious. The ahi tasted fresh, and the salad was light, refreshing, and perfect for brunch. My sister ordered the chilaquiles, and while I'm very picky about those, they were actually better than expected. The drinks were good too. I ordered the Sippin Pretty, a gin-based drink that was light but strong, with a nice floral taste and not overly sweet, which I loved... The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because some of the outdoor photo-op areas could use better maintenance. They looked a bit worn and dirty, likely from sun exposure over time. We dropped by Nigel's for a drink and dessert. They were very accommodating as we were a party of four and the bar was an only option and we wanted a table so they gave us a high top and it was very nice. We got the butter cake and chocolate cake and a triple berry gin drink Sippin Pretty and The espresso drink with a toasted marshmallow and gold coffee bean is Midnight in Miami. Both delicious. Nigel's is a very instagram worthy pink restaurant/bar. I went here for the first time to celebrate a birthday with a party of 10. Reservations for 10 was very hard to get. We tried calling ahead but no answer and their website wasn't helpful for a party that large. My gf came early to try to get a table on a weekday and we were able to get two booths and some chairs. There was a $500 minimum rule for our tables. But drinks from the bar area did not count. Cocktails were really good but pricey ($18+). Food was also good and much better than I expected. I got a salad with added salmon and it was delicious. My friends all enjoyed their food. My salad was inexpensive but my added salmon by itself was an additional $18. However, I would come back to try their other food items. The service was okay. They won't let you sit until your entire party was there so we went to the bar. But they didn't check on us to see if everyone had arrived. Then when we did sit it took awhile for menus to be given to us. It just seemed like even though they had a lot of people working there no one was communicating. But later service got better. The place is definitely cute and detailed. I love the bar area, the pink sofa chairs and all the light fixtures. And the fact that it was right next to the marina with their pink boats just makes it even better. I can see this spot getting very popular. I would come back with some girlfriends. read more

Food was good. Portions are not big but enough. We went there for brunch on a Sunday to celebrate a birthday. There were 6 of us total. The drinks were also good. They have a variety of cocktails and they also have mocktails. The service was a bit slow but they are always full. Getting a reservation is not easy as they fill up fast. You can request a Duffy ride after your meal the rides are free Wednesday thru Friday and there's a charge on weekends. The ambiance is great! They have designed the place so that tables face the Marina and have a nice view. Also there's somewhat of an aspect of privacy in that set up. What a cool place to visit. Ambiance was popping, the drinks were delicious and the food was good. Cooler thing about it is that you're able to rent a Duffy boat and cruise around the waters of Long Beach. Service was a little slow but they did just open 7 weeks ago. Oh MY!!! How did I miss this cute pink and green gem of a restaurant! I first saw on it on IG and saved it for later. Finally!! I go to celebrate my birthday. I Love the chic ambiance and every seat is a good seat. I ordered the fried chicken salad and my sis order the Wagu burger with kale salad. Our food came out , delicious and the buns were dusted with edible gold! What a fun surprise! There's plenty of places for a photo opportunity. Our waitress could have had been more friendly she seemed like she didn't want to be bothered with us (maybe she was having a bad day, or didn't want to serve us) anyway, that wasn't going to stop my birthday celebration. At the end of the meal she brought out an ice cream with a flaming stick and then she quickly took off ( again, not sure what that was about). The parking is free and located inside the parking garage. Last of all, we took a complimentary boat ride on the canal. We will be back again! Hopefully we won't get the same waitress, if so we will ask for someone else. One more thing!!! The key lime pie!!! Ooweee! Very delicious. Oh one more thing... our waitress was rude at the end. I've been seeing so many reels about Nigel's and had to try it out. I reserved a floating booth about a month prior to my reservation and I received a call from the restaurant about a week before my reservation letting me know the floating booths aren't available. It was kind of a bummer but I was also having intrusive thoughts of high wind and having a difficult time eating/drinking or getting motion sickness from it so I was fine with a regular table. Nigel's has three entrances-you can enter from two different sides of the parking garage or from the main parking lot. The pink decor is very cute and aesthetic. When we arrived at the host stand, there wasn't very good communication among the staff and it took a while for us to get seated. Once we got seated, our server was very attentive and checked on us very often. We both ordered the Viva Petit Trio Plate. The filet was good but very small (as the name suggests) and the tomato bisque was also very tasty. We ordered the butter cake for dessert which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream-very yummy! Nigel's looks like the perfect place for brunch or a birthday celebration. It's very Instagrammable and cute and there are so many great places to take photos. I'd like to come back to try their breakfast/brunch menu some time! read more

This is a great spot for a birthday celebration or just brunch with the girls. This spot is right along the marina and has inside and outside seating. The ambience and the decor were such a vibe. We ordered a few appetizers: double eggs, asparagus, fries, Parmesan fries, and a charcuterie board. We also ordered the dirty little secret drinks, and a lemon drop. For my main dish I ordered the lobster grilled cheese with tomato soup, which I thought was amazing. The reason for the four star is that there was a switch out of our waiters and our waiter was not as attentive and as helpful as our first waitress with providing to go containers for our leftovers. He brought out little sauce containers for our leftover soup, which was almost laughable. Overall, it is worth having a brunch here for the ambience and vibes. read more
