    Pollo alla Milanese

Ambience- small, was quiet, not busy (only one other couple), super fast service, intimate Food - focaccia was sooo yummy. We got Chicken picatta and chicken Milanese. Both were good but the chicken in the picatta was a lot better and less chewy. Both came with a penne and arrabiata sauce. It was good and a good price ($50 total with a small Ceasar salad without tip). I would come back again and try something where you get more of a mountain of pasta. I would come back but it's not the best Italian I've ever had. I've decided I will give it another chance bc it's so charming. Ceasar was good. The dishes we got just weren't anything special? Service - excellent; super nice Overall : skip out on the chicken Milanese in my opinion; maybe get the chicken picatta but it just wasn't anything I would come back for; try one of the big pasta dishes.

Don't let the cash/check only policy and the 6 indoor dining tables discourage you from trying this place out. Not going to lie, I was pretty skeptical about the merits of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was delicious and well cooked. They make a mean calamari that is tender and not over cooked at all. It's different from the calamari you would usually expect at Italian restaurants since it's not fried... nonetheless, it was so tasty. The pasta was boiled to perfection. I had no complaints about the food whatsoever. I had a wonderful experience asides from the 1 hour wait (so come early) :) PSA: They are BYOB!

To start off, this place is cash or check only but don't let that keep you from visiting. It's worth stopping somewhere to grab cash beforehand. It's also BYOB and to save a few dollars ($3/glass), bring your own wine glass if you're bringing something that's not bottled. The experience is great if your goal is to have a dinner that tastes amazing but this is not somewhere you come and have a romantic dinner for a date night. The bruschetta was a small portion and I'm not the biggest fan of balsamic but every bite was memorable. The Caesar salad and Pollo Alla Milanese entree were a good size and the dishwasher didn't have to clean much cause I licked the plates clean. My girlfriend also really enjoyed her lentil soup and gnocchi. The service was good but not very fast. Overall, I'm happy that I didn't listen to the negative reviews here on Yelp and got to experience this place.

Literally AMAZING!! Cash only so bring cash but such a cozy vibe and the food was absolutely incredible!! The service was so quick and so nice and gave great recommendations, also the food is super reasonably priced and I love that you can bring your own wine. Will definitely go back.

Lasagne alle Bolognese & Pappardelle Special. No notes, absolutely delicious and large portions.

BYOB $3 cork fee. Don't forget to bring your own glasses. Get there right when they open, inside seating goes fast. Delicious food, we got the trio dip appetizer and loved the bruschetta. Must try, local favorite.

The food is phenomenally authentic!! I was absolutely impressed with all of the amazing flavors! Irene our server was awesome & attentive! She's been there for 9 years which says a lot nowadays! She made good recommendations! She was extremely sweet. The location is a small hole in the wall with outdoor seating & covered patio areas as well! It was cozy, welcoming & warm! It was quite chilly outside! I'm part Sicilian & had a daddy who cooked delicious authentic Italian food. This place is an absolute GEM !! They have homemade pasta & everything is made to order & fresh. This is my new go to for authentic Italian food! Il cibo è molto buono

Look closer and you will see a great selection of dishes that will leave you with difficult choices. The service is what you would expect at a place like this. Your water glass is always full and the team takes care of you. Great wine and cocktail list. Try the old fashioned if you're a bourbon person. The dining room may seem a bit crowded but the noise level is where you can still have a conversation with those around you. My wife ordered the Gnudi, a spinach and ricotta filled dumpling and it was fabulous. But, it did not compare to my duck leg confit with a beet risotto with duck sausage. Wow! I am just saying, this was exceptional! I have had confit all over the world and this was one of the best, by far. Overall, I cannot recommend this spot more highly. Obviously food is the pinnacle but this place hit on all marks.

To call this rocketing restaurant is a joke, it feels like someone who's never been to Italy is trying to fool people with this generic nonsense. Service was fine, but the food quality helped me understand why the place was overwhelmingly empty on a Thursday evening. On top of that, they asked if id like bread with my pasta, I said yes and they brought 2 pieces of burnt bread. I asked for some butter or oil, they brought a small patch of decent quality butter. I finished my meal and asked for the check, I was shocked to see they charged me $5 for the bread and $1 for the tiny piece of butter. I've never seen this before, and was quite surprised they didn't mention i was going charged when they asked if i wanted bread. Avoid, customers don't deserve to be treated this way when there are so many options in the area.

We had an amazing waitress in Annamarie who recommended the best drinks and wine pairings with our pasta we made. It was a great setup to be as intimate or socialize as much as you'd like. They taught us how to make pasta and gnocchi from scratch and also sent us home with our dough and some sauce and noodles to cook later ourselves I highly recommend the calamari and brussel sprouts. The calamari was fried perfectly very light but still had the crunch and the crispy sprouts were crispy and had a phenomenal taste with the Parmesan cheese

He got our drinks, then a basket of warm bread with a plate of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Yummy! There were three of us tonight. We ordered as follows: - Capellini with Seafood - Branzino with Garlic Spinach (shared) - Il Modo Chopped Salad Wow - the food was amazing tonight. My wife and I shared the Branzino. It was a huge portion and real tasty. My son had the Capellini with Seafood and loved it. I tried it as well. Loved the spicy sauce. Then we ordered dessert. Here's what we shared: - Stratacelli Gelato - Tiramisu - Cannolis Wow - they were all good. I liked the Tiramisu the best. Note: they keep it well air conditioned here. Consider a light jacket or sport coat. We will return to Il Modo. Thank you kitchen team and Patrick for another great dinner.

Clean, well lit. Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. Price was well in line with other sit down restaurants. (About $37 for both, and got 3 meals out of it.) Overall experience: I'd give it a 9.5, only because I don't give 10's. (Unless you feed me by hand, and wash and wax my car. HA!) We will *DEFINITELY* go back. (OK. I admit. That means I'll be harassing my wife to go back sometime this week. But, it really was GREAT!

They are Chicken Sunrise, and Veal Genovese, both come with pasta and the sauce on the meals are wonderful. Since we like these two dishes so much it is hard to try anything else. Bread rolls also come with the meal. Salad is extra, I had the Caesar salad. Started with an appetizer Escargot Provencal.... oh man this is good. Dip your bread into the garlic butter yum. The plates have plenty of food you will be full or take-home leftover. Nice glass of wine is good with the meal. Service was good once they were terribly busy, so the food came out slowly.
