This restaurant is new to Beaverton but they have a location in California. We got here around 7pm on a Thursday night. We were seated right away and given water, but no ice. I do love my ice so I was a little disappointed. They had a QR menu only, no paper menu. I had to ask because I wasn't sure how to order. We looked at the menu online and found out you can only order through their online ordering system, there is no waitress to take your order. Their menu is extensive. They have all different kinds of hand pulled noodles, stir fry noodles, entrees, dim sum, drinks as well as desserts. We got the spicy beef noodle soup and the Dan Dan noodle soup as well as the pork xiao buns and the shu mai. We also ordered the pork spear rib soup noodles to go. The beef noodle soup was mouth watering. The beef was flavorful and perfectly cooked and there was also crispy tofu and bok choy in the dish. The flavor was amazing. The only complaint I have is that it was very spicy and there was no option to tone it down. We got the wide noodles which were also delicious but definitely hard to eat because they were so wide and long. The Dan Dan noodles were just as delectable, amazing flavor and HUGE portions. The xiao pork buns were a little underwhelming because they didn't have much flavor and were very small. The shu mai was delicious and had a lot of shrimp as well as pork. So I would say overall, everything was very good and came out quickly. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. We ended up taking a lot of food to go because there was so much food. Absolutely no complaints there. The only disappointment was the pork spear rib noodle soup. My daughter had it after we got home and the noodles and pork were packaged separately but there was no soup base. So there was no flavor. We ended up mixing it with our leftovers and it worked out well. We will definitely be back to try other dishes as everything looked and smelled amazing! read more

This place is a gem! My expectations were fairly low as it was the third option on my list. But, I was really impressed. I ordered my food by scanning a QR code on my table and taking it from there. Let's start with the sticky table, a QR code menu, and unattended bathroom. None of which I find appealing in a restaurant. While our server was helpful getting us going on the use of the digital menu and that went rather well, the table next to us had problems with duplicate orders. We started with lamb skewers, the only lamb dish on the menu. While tastily seasoned the meat was tough and chewy. In fast over sauced session came the cold rice jelly noodles, they were drowned in a one note peanut sauce without a hint of freshness. Mongolian beef arrived at the same time, a sea of onions, scallions and tender beef were overwhelmed by the pool of oil dripping off every slippery bite. Next up spicy wontons in another puddle of oily soup, thank goodness for the sliced scallions which gave this dish two notes of flavor, chili oil and green onion notes with a hint of pork and shrimp. Once the food unceremoniously dropped off and water arrived we never saw our server again. No proper serving utensils, a chipped dish and nowhere to put our food after our tiny plate was covered in peanut sauce. We ultimately shared our meal from the serving vessels, wondering if we'd ever be offered more water. In fairness when a new server arrived with the electronic bill and we'd swiped our card she did ask if we'd like more water, not now was my only answer. On second thought maybe this should've get three stars after all. Just another underwhelming Asian food opportunity in the burbs. read more

Food is good, but could be better. Everything we got came out warm and not hot. I wouldn't recommend the soup dumplings; they were dry and had no soup. Service is extremely lacking. It is nice you can order on your phone but if you have any questions, you are unable to flag someone down and when you do, the servers aren't well knowledgeable on the menu. Our first server that sat us seemed to know the menu you well. The second server/food runner I asked her a question and she told me the pork ribs came with noodles, but I was hesitant so I wanted for the original server to come back. I was correct the pork ribs do NOT come with noodles. I recommend looking at the menu before you come so you can ask all the questions at the beginning because it's more like service/order at the beginning and never again. Ask for your utensils up front too! Only one soup spoon was given and we shared everything. Special highlights were the extremely fast turnout of our food, the easy QR code/ordering process (lots of options for customization and dietary restrictions!) and they even gave my mom a fresh flower at the end of our meal to celebrate Mother's Day . Service wasn't slow as I was expecting based off the reviews but it also wasn't busy the time that we went. Food came out fairly quickly. The wonton was not overly spicy and it was flavorful. The beef pancake roll was crispy with good flavor. The pork belly noodle dish was one of my favorites as it had some tender pieces of pork belly and the sauce was delicious. The lan zhou hand pulled noodles were good, while not the best that I've had; broth was light. The spicy flat chicken noodles were bit too spicy, which they did have the option of a milder option but for those of you who like thicker or knife shaved noodles this may be for you (and they also use dark chicken meat). We visited for the first time last week. Flavors are nice. We had 3 dishes, one was the beef noodle soup and the broth was warm, was expecting hot. Like one of the reviewers mentioned, we weren't well equipped to eat the noodles having to "cut" them with the serving spoon/fork and it wasn't so easy (scissors, maybe?). Food was amazing, we had a party of 8 and the wait was surprisingly short on a Friday night after a major snowstorm. Lots of people waiting in line. Only issue is trying to figure out the ordering system since no one really explained anything with the QR codes and you pretty much have to flag any server down to get napkins and anything else you need. Maybe I'm just old and not used to the new way of doing things, once you put in the order the food came flying out with almost no wait. Went for Lunch on Monday, and it was not too busy was seated right away and ordered food within 5 minutes. I got Dan Dan noodles, and I wish they had a bit more heat/spice, but overall pretty good. The noodles are the star of the show though, really good texture and taste! Will be trying them out again to check out their other dishes read more

I went to this place for takeout because it was nearby and it got good reviews on yelp. I walk in and tell the greeter that I want to place an order to go. He hurriedly hands me an ipad and leaves. I'm 70 yo and have no clue what he wants me to do with the ipad. 15 minutes later he comes back a little annoyed because he needs his ipad back and as it turns out I was supposed to have placed my order myself on the ipad and I still hadn't placed my order. As if I was inconveniencing him. He took my order and told me I would get a text message when it was ready. So far I am not getting any warm and fuzzies. I ordered the spicy flat noodles with chicken and spring rolls. The food came out after 15 minutes. The noodles were good although spice level was a little too spicy for me, but that's just my personal preference, and I don't fault them for that. It was, however, very oily, with about 1/4 cup of oil pooled at the bottom of the container. The spring rolls were just average. The five stars is definitely for the food and service. "Some spice" was perfect. Stir fried lettuce... so good. Here is the down side. Phone or iPad ordering. I want to go to dinner and not bring my phone, I want to ask questions of my waiter. I don't want another reason my family stares at their glowing orbs. Then the plates ... portions are huge , plates for a place that serves family style are waaay too small. They are a teacup saucer size. Infact we thought the plate was a saucer for the tea! I would bring some paper plates if you want to mix and match different dishes because the saucer plates do not allow that. And, the AMAZING noodles slide off the tiny plate on to the table ( we call that the kill zone) it's disappointing to have to chase your food. Again food was fantastic, staff was super kind. Our service was promp and everything was delicious. The check in was a little weird but we still got sat quickly! The pork belly was super savory and melted in your mouth. I heard this place was busy. I was happy we were seated right away (and when we were on our way out, there was a huge line). The servers were pleasant and polite. The food itself was the disappointment for me. There were very limited vegetarian options and no vegan options. I did what I could with what was available. But everything was incredibly oily. Cucumber salad? Doused in sesame oil. Couldn't even pick it up with the metal chopsticks provided and had to request a fork. Green onion pancake? So oily that I left greasy fingerprints on everything - but the flavor of that item overall was good. I ordered a tofu item that was just tofu in a sauce but guess what? Oily. My partner (who is a chef) ordered some noodles and said he liked them overall but wished they had been cooked a bit longer. The food was good. At least mine was. My wife did not like hers at ALL. I tasted hers and agreed. I forget the name. Something like pork over noodles. The service was the main issue! Like there barely is any! We sat at the bar and the dishes from the previous customers next to us sat there our entire meal. I had to slide them over myself. Meanwhile people are waiting 30 minutes for a seat. The only pleasant interaction with the staff was when the bill came. It seemed like they were only nice to try and get a big tip. I got the lanzhou hand pull beef noodle soup, Chinese pork hamburger, barbecue pork bao, lamb skewer, and the braised pork feet! All this was to split with my perfect date. Sadly, I had to grab it to go, but the hostess was so friendly and attentive. It looked like a cool spot to sit and stay a while with company. The part you're dying for, the food! The hamburger had to be my favorite! It was so delectable to the tongue that I couldn't get enough of it. It had the perfect amount of crisp, greens, and meat. I could not ask for more out of it. I take that back, my favorite actually has to be the soup! The beef was cooked to perfection and I could drink the broth as a beverage on its own! I have never had a better broth, what's the secret to it?! I have to say I got the feet as a test, and while they weren't my favorite, my friend loves pork feet and gave raving reviews of it! One star off for the menu system--not a big fan of scanning QR codes at the table instead of having a physical menu. Otherwise, it was an amazing experience. The pork belly noodles were chewy and delicious, although I could have done with more sauce. This was easily corrected by a combination of some soy sauce and vinegar from the table, though. And the pork belly itself was superb--some of the best I've ever had. Fatty, delicious, and melt in your mouth tender. They didn't skimp on it, either. There was enough for me to have a piece every few slurps of noodle. Had the small wide noodles, which were perfect with the pork belly. The dim sum was also a treat, fresh pork and shrimp stuffed potstickers which you could tell had been made from scratch when we ordered them as well. Overall, a place that reminds me of a fantastic little place I ate at as a child in Portland's Little Chinatown. Definitely want to go back and try more of the menu. Be prepared for a wait, though, and when you get there, sign up on the electric list left of the door immediately. read more
