The soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) were my favorite which I think you can't go wrong when ordering dim sum here. If you like soup with a spicy kick, this would be the perfect dish as it has Sichuan pepper. I think I came once before when it was Tang Dynasty; not quite sure when it changed over. My wife and I were craving noodles and were both surprised to see that this location had changed. We decided to give it a shot and it didn't disappoint. Service was fast! We were on something of a time crunch but we were still in and out in around 30 minutes. The food was good. Their pot stickers, didn't feel frozen and the dough had just the right consistency of chewiness. Noodles I had the General Zhao's chicken, which I think was a mistake. The noodles themselves were fantastic, definitely hand-pulled; and the portion of chicken was great. The sauce however was definitely too sweet for me and could've used a little more heat in my opinion. I don't really understand the hype with this place... I tried the dan dan noodles and the pork belly noodles, both with wide flat noodles. I've had dan dan noodles at other places and have never had it served in soup, which was weird. The pork belly dish was inedible to me and I stopped eating it after a few bites. The noodles were all stuck together and so hard to eat. Maybe I ordered the wrong things?? I never got around to trying this place when it was Tang Dynasty, but we had to come for the hand-pulled noodles! There's an electronic waitlist to check in on when you arrive. There is really minimal staff interaction here. After you are seated, you are left to your own devices to order via QR menu, which just lists dish names with a picture without descriptions. The waitress did bring out waters to the table without our having to ask for it. Sliced pork ear with onion and cilantro: 4/5 I'd prefer either thinner slices or slightly more cooked/softer. Good flavor with a little kick. Dry dry string bean: 3.5/5 a lot of the beans were too mature with slightly tough beans and/or tough strings left on them. The dish was cooked well and seasoned nicely with garlic, and it is not spicy despite the presence of peppers (although we didn't eat the actual peppers ) Diced pork with eggplant stir noodle: 4.5/5 The hand-pulled noodles had a nice chewy bounce, and the flavors were good. Spicy beef flat noodles: 4/5 The chewy large cut noodles were fun to eat. This dish also has a kick. The strange thing is that you can't pay online. We ended up just going to the bar to pay. Not a great experience and the food was not as appetizing as the photos. Read reviews before ordering! It was our first time there today and we were seated and served water but no one told us that we ordered ourselves via the QR code on the table. I thought it was just where we viewed the menu. The food comes out as it's done being prepared and so I finished eating my food before my husband's meal even came out. I got the pork belly topping noodles which looked like is going to be served with soup and there was just a small puddle at the bottom of the bowl. The pork belly was soft and very fatty, I only ate about 1/2 of the meat that was served. The flavor was just okay. I added a lot of the chili oil that was on the table to add more flavor and spice to my dish. Also, I got the flat wide noodles and I'd probably go with the flat noodles or skinnier next time because the wide noodles were hard to pull apart to eat (it seemed like after the noodles were boiled, they sat for a while before being served so they were stuck to each other). We had to ask 3 different people for to-go containers and when we got them, the lady had just finished cleaning two tables with gloves on and then grabbed our container with the same gloves and handed it to us (which had a smear of oil on the outside... from other people's food!) They also offer some more classics options like fried rice, dumplings, and stir fry. We went on a week night and it's easy to get a table, fortunately. We all got our own noodles dish and split a few sides like the Beef Pancake Roll (lowkey the best item of the night!), Mochi, Lamb Skewers, and Eggplant & Stringbean Stirfry. We came when the restaurant opened at 11AM on a Saturday and was seated immediately. We scanned the menu QR code and were able to make our order online. The food came out orderly and we were able to enjoy the food. My favorite dish is the deep fried pork chop. It was so crunchy and flavorful. Another favorite is the Lanzhou hand pull beef noodle soup. The broth was so clean and tasty. They are known for their hand pulled Lanzhou noodles varying in size. See pictures, unlike my friends who prefer thinner noodles I love ordering my beef noodle soup with WIDE FLAT noodles. If you like doughy noodles this is the noodle choice for you. Besides their noodles I love a good broth as well and the beef noodle soup is mild but very flavorful. I had somehow mentioned this place to a friend before I even tried it and she LOVED it and insisted we all go together! We stopped in on a Monday night and it got pretty busy. This location used to be Tang Dynasty, but they have transitioned to serving hand stretched noodles, which I'm not mad about. I ordered the beef noodle soup with the extra wide noodles, while my fiance got the Lanzhou beef noodle soup with the thinner noodles. We both liked our dishes but I like his broth better. My dish had a soy sauce base broth and it lacked depth, while his broth was full of flavor from the Chinese herbs. However, I did really enjoy the extra wide noodles. Next time I'm either getting the Lanzhou beef noodle soup with extra wide noodles, or some stir fried extra wide noodle dishes. All in all, we would recommend the place. read more

Heard a lot about this place and there aren't any Chinese restaurants that specialize in hand pulled noodles on this side of town. The restaurant was very busy, so there was at least a 30 minute wait to get seated. Ordering at the table was simple as you scan the QR code and place your order on the virtual tab. We got a few appetizers and each of us ordered a noodle dish. I liked the Cucumber Salad and the Sliced Beef Pancake Rolls, both had great seasoning and the rolls were cooked well. I really wanted to like the Fry Lamb Skewers but the meat was a bit tough for me, otherwise the dry seasoning was great, it packs that cumin punch. I also wanted to like the Lanzhou Hand Pull Beef Noodle Soup. I got it with the Medium Thin noodle, so the texture was slightly too chewy. The broth was clean but wasn't incredibly flavorful. This is an LA strip mall meets west side PDX suburbia style place. Service is suspect, it's fast and furious, the lines can get crazy because it has a following but gosh darn it, the experience is unique for the area. That's what my first impressions of noodle dynasty were. There's a waitlist system, but after five minutes and visibly two empty tables, they didn't bother to even look at the waitlist, and ask me how many people were from my party. All good, we got seated and immediately jumped on their portal via QR code. I had a feeling the cuisine would be fairly good, because there were grammatical and spelling mistakes littered in the English section of the portal. We went for the Lanzhou, the braised beef and the pork belly along with shrimp dumpling and golden buns. The items I would order again would be the braised beef noodle and the golden buns. Lanzhou was fine and tasted similar to the rendition at Frank's Noodle House... which has a solid radish base. The pork belly, however while super soft and tender had a sauce that was sweeter than my liking. Now to the noodle selection... if you value volume and bang for the buck, I would stick to the thinner noodles... simply because it was apparent to me, the flat and wider noodles, while tasty and ample, creates a lot more empty space when put in a noodle ladle for cooking. As result, the higher volume that you get are through the thinner noodles. The Lanzhou was packed... whereas the pork belly order was less... again ample, just not the best bang for buck. The shrimp dumpling I knew would be a yawn and it was... good, not great, not enough shrimp and bamboo shoot flavors, way too thick dumpling wrap. The golden buns however are a hit... simple, deep fried goodness with condensed milk on the side. They deep fry them well here... you'll be addicted if you like deep-fried donuts of any type. Oh and we did order the orange chicken as takeout for a family member... when we tried it at home while the orange flavors were there, they were "fleeting"... didn't linger, didn't give any umami depth. I wouldn't get this one again personally. The uniqueness, some flavors, speed, variety and competitive cost for a bowl of noodles will have folks returning often. Saw this place on tiktok and Instagram reels and was immediately intrigued to try it! This place is very new, so there is so much potential and room for improvements as they continue! So read this review with that in mind. A group of friends and I came to try it out on a Saturday night and there were many people by the door and a lengthy waitlist to go through. We were number 61 on the waitlist and there was around 30 people in front of us on the list. It took us about 40min in total to get our spot. It was really handy that they had an online waitlist we could sign up for it by leaving a phone number, name, and party size. However, I will say that when we were informed our spot was ready it wasn't actually ready, there were still more people before us on the list and we still had to wait around 10 min inside before we actually got our spot. The menus themselves are all digital which is very handy for a group of friends hanging out together, we all just ordered through our own devices. The food came out rather quickly, took only like around 15min to get all of our orders served. The service workers were quick but they weren't really inclined to converse. So if you were expecting small talk, you may possibly get none. My friend and I both got the pork belly noodles (the two bowls in the front of the photo), the menu photo definitely looked different from our actual meal. I can't say I was super content with my meal as the menu photo had a nice rich braised brown pork belly look that was submerged in beef colored soup. The meal we got looked bright red. Initially when we first got our meal we were a little confused. There was no soup, we got soup ladles to go with our meal, there was sauce. From the photo I was expecting sweet with a hint of savory meat with a contrasting flavor of purely savory soup, but the whole meal itself was just sweet. The sauce was definitely the sauce they used to marinate the meat. (Felt a little misled to say the least, by the way the menu had names for the items but no descriptions.) At the end of the meal the bill came out and we had to pay all together and could not pay separately, we were able to make it work, but I can definitely see that being frustrating for some customers. I ended up asking my friends what they thought of the restruant and we all gave it around a 6-8 out of 10 (there was 4 of us there!). Overall it was not a bad experience but it wasn't great. Saw this new spot on Instagram and we were excited because it is close to our home and we love fresh noodles. The restaurant is nice. I had been to this location years ago and it's so much nicer now. We were told menu was on QR code. But was not clear was if you were supposed to order through the website too. Our initial person came over and we were able to ask questions but then we didn't really have much contact with the server again after looking at the menu. We did however get continuous refills on water by a different person. We ordered the noodle with ground pork with the wide noodles and the general chow chicken with noodle. Both were good but not great. We definitely want to come back and try more dishes because all the food looked good. We'd like to try the dumplins/dim sum but most were out of stock. One call out is that we felt ill equipped to eat our food. We were sharing and had to cut all the noodles with a spoon and chopsticks. Next time we will ask when seated. As soon as I heard about this place and saw their noodles, I knew I had to come and check it out. It's hard to find fresh wide thin noodles in a variety of different styles and was really excited to try this place. Overall the flavors were great but there are a few things to look out for. There are no physical menus as there is a digital QR code on each table with their corresponding table number. It's nice that everyone can look it up on their phone without taking space but none of the items on the menu list the ingredients for each dish. This can be problematic for those with any allergy or dietary restrictions. This also meant that the service was pretty slow as most of the time the servers will only come to fill up your water or drop off your menu. The food selection is vast as you can get your noodles how you like them - thin, medium thin, thin flat, flat, wide flat, etc. My biggest concern is that none of the food came out hot, as if the food was sitting there before being served. We were the first to be seated and first to order so it was very surprising to find that our food wasn't hot. I also noticed this in another Yelper's review and I'm starting to wonder if this will be consistent with other people's experiences. Overall I would rate this place a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. The food tasted authentic and super flavorful and I loved the different selection of noodles on their noodle dishes. Finally got to try noodle dynasty and it lives up to the hype. There are a wide selection of food options including dim sum and you order from a QR code menu. We went during lunch time where they also offered lunch specials. For the noodle dishes, they give you different choices of how you want your noodles whether thin, medium, thick, or flat! We got the spicy pork noodle dish and spicy beef noodle soup. Great flavors and noodles were cooked perfectly. You can tell it's hand made and fresh. Portions here are big! We also tried the Orange chicken lunch special and it was ok, a little lack in flavor. Staffs were pleasant and food came out fast. The area is spacious and with lots of seatings. I was able to come here about an hour or two before they closed because we were craving noodle soups! The ordering process was very straightforward as we would just need to order on our phones using their QR code system. We got the porkbelly stir fry and a beef noodle soup and alright. It didn't stand out that much to be. The porkbelly stir fry had a ton of vegetables and the ratios of meat to vegetable were very poor. We also ordered their numbing spice chicken and it was good! The numbing was numbing very well. Overall, it's something to try but I wouldn't drive all the way out there for it. read more

We ordered this past weekend. We don't live far, but we were having an adult football weekend. So no driving. The general tsaos was out of this world! We also got the spicy pork noodles. Which we loved. However, waaayyy too much garlic. We love garlic, but over the top. I would order it again, because it really was amazing. Next time I'll ask for the garlic on the side? Or light? The beef roll was suggested by everyone. It was good. But not something I would have to order again. Everything was really excellent. We are excited to try some more dishes. My only real complaint. Why don't you serve rice with entrees? That's wild. Anyway. Looking forward to trying more noodles. read more

It's still one of my go-to spots for some fresh hand pulled noodles. Had a chance to try some different items out. Our friend child wanted orange chicken noodles, and we got that. It's definitely tastes how I would expect it to (a bit on the sweeter side for me). I did like the stir fry beef with cumin and the spicy stir fry flat noodles. read more

Been here twice now loved it both times, this will be my go to when I need some noodles! Get the beef roll it taste kinda like a dry bowl of pho it's great! Also get the pork belly with noodles it was really great with a great chew to the noodles. read more

Was in the area for an app so decided to stop in for dinner so I wouldn't have to cook when I got home. The place is quite large so they must get croded during the popular times. So many noodles to choose from! Different types and widths, but all hand pulled. I have the wide noodles with Pok. The noodles had the perfect chew, the texture you can only get when they are hand pulled. Once you've had them, you know! Will definitely stop back in hen I'm in the area as there are other noodle and non noodle dishes I want to try. Upon entering the space, the staff is welcoming and immediately wants to seat you. I didn't even need to use the computer check-in system that was recommended at the door. Upon being seated, I was given water and menus, and we discussed the various menus available at lunch. I decided to takeaway, since, I had several exams to be studying for at home, and the team made this very easy. They have a separate ordering system for the takeaway, which, seemed strange to me since everything could theoretically be done in the app/QR code, so I feel like they are overburdening themselves with the multi-systems in this case. I took bao buns and general tso chicken to go, and was very impressed with the quality when I got home. The thick noodles were delicious, and the sauces with proper chicken, not popcorn chicken, was ideal for me as someone who is always trying to watch my carb intake. I ordered take out during my lunch break and love spicy food so I ordered the spicy braised pork flat noodles. I was really impressed by this dish! The portion size was large with plenty of noodles, meat and veggies. I appreciate the ingredients they add with the Chinese celery, woodear mushrooms, tofu skin, carrots and onions. The pork is pork belly in large chunks that is really flavorful. The noodles are chewy, plentiful and definitely fresh. This is a pretty spicy dish so beware if you can't handle spice. The spice level was perfect for me but I love spice. My son loved it and wants to go back soon! read more
