My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Mammoth and were looking for places that's available for dine in. This was one of the first places that popped up when we searched soup. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with enough spaces between tables to maintain social distancing. They also wiped down the tables and chairs before seating the next party, very respectful of the current situation. There are 2 sizes for their noodle soup, regular and large, with a $2 difference. We both went with the Khao Soi and it did not disappoint. It is a noodle soup with chicken both, minced pork, tomatoes, and garlic chili sauce, topped with sliced cabbage and chicharrones (fried pork skin). It is slight spicy due to the spices but very manageable. Although they were very busy, they still made sure to check up on us. I believe they're a family business and it's important to support local businesses during this time. I'll most definitely be back the next time I'm in town! read more

Inside is really colorful and it was buzzing with people, I immediately got the sense this is a town favorite, and more mom and pop. The waiter was friendly and attentive and I watched him the same with everyone. The vibe was so good! The pho was great... I'm not sure if it's how they cut it but I get rare beef pho everywhere, but sometimes it sort of shrivels up on the sides and instead of being chewy, it's tender. That's how it was here, really really good. I didn't like the boba but probably because I only get boba from boba places and it's usually not the same in restaurants, each of the drinks was quite sweet and the boba was sorta mushy rather than perfect balls. Despite that's the noodles and broth and meat are everything I'd want and looking at other people's tables made me wanna try their food too! I'd come back here every time. I had a very disappointing dining experience here. First, the service was extremely slow. We waited for a long time for our food, and to make matters worse, people who arrived after us got their dishes served before we did. From the moment we sat down until we left, there was almost no service at all--except for when they brought out the food and handed us the check. Our water glasses were empty for most of the meal, and no one came by to refill them or check on us. Overall, it was frustrating and made the experience far less enjoyable than it could have been. Update: Thank you for your response, but I need to clarify something. At no point during my visit did you explain anything to us, nor did we have any conversation with you about the delay. In fact, there was no interaction beyond taking our order, bringing the food, and the check. I'm not here to pick a fight, just to share an honest experience. Sometimes, accepting feedback and using it for improvement can be more beneficial than offering explanations that don't align with what actually happened. PHO wow this pho is so good! And I'm from the Bay Area San Francisco where pho is popular. The broth was so flavorful and clean tasting. The ingredients felt fresh. The veggie noodles were yummy with a hint of peanut butter taste. The standard steak pho was yummy. Even the next day the noodles were still intact and normally pho is inedible the next day. Thai iced tea was one of the best I've ever tasted. To Go service was great. I ordered online ok their website! As you can see they package everything for infection control for COVID-19 and even insert flyers and stickers onto everything to explain how they're being safe. I even saw someone order curbside and the food was brought out to his trunk by a worker with a mask on. I think Caucasian people are running the restaurant but wow they sure do good pho. I was tempted to come here a second time before heading back to the Bay Area it was that good. PARKING was easy enough as it shares the same parking lot plaza as Vons and other shopping. read more

I was surprised the chicken pho tasted so authentic! It reminded me on my mom's pho. The noodles were cooked to perfection. I also got boba, oolong milk tea with almond milk. I love how they also had oat milk as an option. The pearls tasted great but were a little on the hard side. I say without hesitation that this is the best food I've ever eaten not just in Mammoth, but on the East side, period. There are eight noodle dishes on the menu and so far, I've tried two. The broth for both was absolutely stellar, full of complex flavor that comes as no surprise when you learn that the owner painstakingly makes each batch by hand. The khao soi is stuffed with minced pork and noods swimming in a chili garlic sauce so good that I kinda wanted to pour the remnants into my water bottle and drink it like an absolute weirdo. I reallllly wanted to love this place. Especially since there are not many Asian/noodle shops in Mammoth. I just can't get past how salty their soups are though. Like salty to the point where you can't take your rings off your fingers later and your eyes are puffy after a nap. Haha. I have gone here a few times and have ordered different options. My most recent visit I ordered the Khao Soi (again). It has a decent tomato and chicken flavor but it's really just one dimensional and overly salted and oily. You can't really just sip on the broth without feeling like a balloon after. It does come with chicharrones and minced pork but it's almost non existent. I had maybe 4 pieces of bite size chicharron and about a tablespoon or 2 of the minced meat. If you like meat and protein in your meal, do not get this. It's literally just broth and noodles. I had to squeeze some lime into the soup to cut the saltiness and I added my friends leftover sprouts to get some different texture other than noodles. My girlfriend and friend both ordered the No. 1 Pho with Rare Steak which was much better than the Khao Soi. It had a nice beef flavor and the seasonings and herbs really came through. However, it was salty and oily for some reason. There was a decent amount of beef but still not as much as I would expect. Again, it was mostly just noodles though. She did order a side of baked tofu which went really nice in the broth and had a great texture! My friend ordered the No. 5 The Noods with rice noodles. We all tasted it and thought it was overly sweet. She had to doctor it up to eat it. Unfortunately, the rice noodles became like a sticky ball of clump in the bowl so she had to add some of the pho broth to unstick it and break it apart. She probably would have been better off with egg noodles instead or ordering something with actual broth. The BBQ pork was delicious though! In the end we asked each other if we would order our meals again and everyone said no. Unfortunately, we ended up walking to Vons after to get a snack since we didn't finish our meals ): I feel like we've given this a try a handful of times and it's always the same. After a weekend of camping in mammoth. Wanted something Asian to enjoy especially since we've just been eating BBQ and grilled hotdogs/burgers the past days. I came across Noodle-ly and reading all the great Yelpers review. It got my attention and I suggested to come here for Fathers Day lunch and I mean who doesn't love pho. Came during lunch. Wasn't busy at all. We were the only group there after a few customer has left. The guy associate was really helpful and friendly assisting our large group. All of us majority got pho and a few egg noodle soup orders. The pho broth was ok. Wasn't too much flavoring. I asked my Chinese friend also and she felt the same. It was mediocre...i so wanted to like Noodle ly and was expecting something really good with all the ravings review I read on here. I did see they are known for their khao soy. Maybe what i should've ventured into and order. The portions were a lot. My friends daughter ordered the watermelon slush and she tasted it. She couldn't drink any more. She loves watermelon. Asked her why she wasn't drinking it and she said it didn't taste like watermelon. So her mom asked if i wanted the drink so it won't go to waste. I said ok and took a sip myself. Definitely wasn't made out of fresh watermelon and was totally artificial, really sweet! Told the server and he was kind enough to take the slush and removed the drink off our bill. I was so happy to find a Pho place in Mammoth. I eat Pho at least once a week, often 2-3 times a week in the Los Angeles area. I eat Pho in most cities I visit, so I know Pho. Thus Pho at Noodle-Ly is "all right," but do not expect the best you have had. The servings are huge, which is a positive. I ordered chicken Pho and they give a lot of chicken, which was very tender. I was very disappointed that the Pho did not come with Thai basil, sprouts, or lime. I asked, and it was extra, but it was needed to add flavor to the broth, which was so-so. This is the first time I've had to pay for the basil, sprouts and lime. If they don't want to waste ur, They should ask, but not charge for it as most ALL Pho places include it. Daaayyuummm son! This place is good! Walking in at 5'9", 170 lbs and got the medium Khao soi (cow-soy?) And left at 5'9.5", 175 lbs and for the price.... it was amazing. A cool tip if you're dinning in for 2 and really hate your friend at that moment, like I'm talking arguing the whole trip over.... Anyway, I'm a vegetarian and like spice but it cost 3$ extra when ordering Khao soi. "Friend" eats meat and gets the number 1 but can't eat a hot cheetoh to save his life so he got it on the side and I took it. We all win. Lets talk prices! 12-15 bucks per bowl? No brainer for me due to how full I got. The staff was extremely helpful. The dude who helped me said coconut was his favorite and I lied and said me too ill try it. Now I love coconut.
