Classic Spam Musubi (OL) Sweet Summer Corn Musubi (OL)

Super good!! I had never had Hawaiian food and I'm so glad this was my first experience! Big menu with lots of variety, even my GF friends found dishes for them. We had a mistake with a dish and they quickly remade it and were very apologetic, and comped our drinks. Cannot reccomend more! Very cute interior also, great decor and vibe. Great place for drinks and small musubi bites with friends.

Tasty food in a cute space. The corn and mayo musubi was slightly sweet and rich, with a pleasant bite and savoriness from the seaweed. The noodles had firm tofu and mushrooms with chewy noodles and a warm sauce with hints of Sichuan pepper. My partner also enjoyed the garlic shrimp bowl. The total came to just over $70 with plenty of food for two people.

Incredible dinner experience! Everything was so incredibly scrumptious, and we were so full by the end. We got the spam and cheese and spicy tuna musubis which were both so delicious. They came with three pieces each which was perfect to split amongst me and my two friends. We also got the Taiwanese cabbage which really took me by surprise in the best way. It ended up being my favorite dish of the night! The cabbage was the perfect texture and the sauce was so good. The meat pieces in it were also a nice touch and really balanced the dish well. The noodles were also super yummy and had a great chewy texture. Lastly, we got the loco moco chicken, which was breaded and sauced to perfection, with a gorgeous egg on top. We also loved the decor on the walls! It was a bunch of polaroids of previous customers. We were able to have our picture taken and pinned ours up on the walls, preserving this wonderful dinner in history.

Great food and a great vibe, I actually don't think Ive been to a dedicated Hawaiian restaurant before so this was really nice! Started with three of the Musubi. The Yellowtail was incredibly fresh with a touch of yuzu that was awesome. The Spicy Salmon was good but kinda standard. The Galbi was stellar, had a nice flavor to the meat and the kimchi delish. Got the Mochiko Chicken Loco Moco. Lots of tastes that work so well together here from the gravy to the breading to the egg. I actually didn't even realize this had a macaroni salad because I started eating from the rice side so the macaroni was a nice surprise and it was so good. If I had to give one critique though Id say that the breading did not stay on the chicken when you cut into it so it was hard to get both in one bite! Also got dessert because Macademia is my favorite nut but for some reason I never thought to put it in a brownie, so when I saw the Macademia Brownie I knew I had to have it. Brownie itself was fire, it had the taste and texture of a dense brownie but it was not dense itself if that makes sense. Also it came with coconut ice cream but I saw Thai Tea ice cream on the menu and asked for that instead and they provided! DEEEEELISHHHHH that ice cream was perfection. So concentrated and creamy and the perfect thai tea flavor YUM. The vibe inside was curated so well and the playlist was actually really good!

Delicious hawaiian food that ive been wanting to try for years and and totally hit the spot. Its a cute intimate space and the amount of food was good for two. Service was easy and great.

Feels like home the moment you enter! Was recommend this spot for their duck so had to get it along with their other items on the menu. I was wow like by the duck the moment it came out. The way they cooked it and the coloring of it looked so beautiful. Every bite melts in your mouth and I wish they have a location in Cali! Highly recommend trying their musubi and poke bowl! It was just as amazing. Service is great and staffs always checked up on us to make sure we were doing well. Make sure to make a reservation before coming here!

It's not easy to find Hawaiian food in NYC, so I was excited to try Noreetuh. Unfortunately, for the price point, I can't recommend it. The mentaiko spaghetti was fantastic in flavor but very small for $29. The musubis had dry rice and chewy seaweed, and the crab fried rice didn't have much flavor at all. The section we were seated in was extremely dark (and this was during the day, at lunch time) and cramped, and it was tough to even hear ourselves talk being so close to two louder tables. Service was pretty slow overall. Specifically the musubi, that we ordered as an appetizer, didn't arrive until after both entrees. When we asked to cancel them after maybe 30-45 minutes, the request was refused which was a bit frustrating. Spending this much for a 2 person brunch, I expected a bit more. Likely won't be returning..

The Service, exceptional. The Food, extraordinary. The ambience, soothing, great vibes. This is the second time we've eaten here. Everything from the Service, to the Food, to the drinks, to the desserts, exceeds expectations. We live in LI now so we don't come as often as we should. I will recommend this place for a nice dinner out. Thanks so much for yet another wonderful experience. Price is as expected. Not cheap not expensive but I definitely think it's worth more than what it's priced.

It's hard to find Hawaiian food in NYC - there aren't that many places but noreetuh does a good job keeping true to Hawaiian classics but elevating it. They also have dishes with Korean inspiration as well! I personally loved the Hokkaido scallop musubi - I think that was my favorite of the evening. I also really enjoyed the potato and truffle potato Mille-feuille with all the uni on top! The interior is fun with walls full of Polaroids and they have various tables to accommodate small and large parties! The staff was attentive but the only critique I may have was that the main dishes took some time to come out so there was a big gap between the appetizers and our main dishes.

This place was astoundingly good - we managed to get a last-minute reservation on a Saturday night and were shocked by how nice the place was and how good the food was too! I wasn't super hungry and got a few musubis - yellowtail, galbi, and spicy spam. These were incredible, they almost tasted like giant sushi. The yuzu sauce paired so well with the fresh yellowtail and the rice was seasoned so well. The galbi was super tender and flavorful with a delicious sauce, and the spicy spam was a nice classic musubi as well. I was so impressed by these! I also tried some of the mentaiko spaghetti and mochiko chicken, both of which were also delicious. However, if you come here, get the musubi for sure! Must try in NYC!

Came here with a friend on a Friday night and was so pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Our server was kind, letting me sit down and order before my friend arrived (uncommon for many NYC restaurants)! We got the chicken loco moco and garlic shrimp plates to share. The garlic shrimp was so flavorful, and heavy on the garlic in the best way! The loco moco gravy was not too heavy, and the chicken pieces were fried to perfection. Amazing Mac salad, and definitely on my list to return.

Long time customer. Jin is a great host. East Village prices for an uptown menu. Jin is a somm and his wine list is a Michelin star. Noreetuh is a wine person's destination and Noreetuh caters to the trade. Korean fried chicken is the bomb. Much cheaper than Cocodoq, a high end alternative. Look at my pics, Michelin quality at East Village prices.

    Do they still do brunch?

Yes. Noreetuh currently is open for brunch from 11:30 to 2:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. Last call is at 2:15.

Were there any advantages sitting at the bar instead of the table?

There is not, the same menu is served at the bar as at the tables. Bar seats are just made available for guests that prefer sitting at a bar vs. at a table.

It featured a crispy, sugar-glazed exterior and a soft, chewy interior, topped with truffle cheese and served with a truffle butter dip; the pairing was superb, and it tasted great both on its own and with the dip. For the main course, I ordered the miso-glazed black cod. The flavor was flawless, and while the portion was small (which was acceptable), the pool of broth accompanying it was completely unnecessary; it was inedibly salty, so what was the point of serving it? After finishing the fish, I was left with a plate full of broth, rendering the plate unusable. Plus, it was overpriced; for this dish, you're better off going to Strip House Strip House remains the undisputed king of this dish in New York. A friend ordered the chicken parmesan. It was just average. Another friend ordered the short rib stroganoff. The flavor was decent, but it was far too rich and heavy. As someone whose palate is split 50/50 between Western and Chinese cuisine, I could manage only five bites at most. If you have a palate that prefers 100% Chinese food, proceed with caution on this dish. Friends ordered sides of mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. These are dishes originally meant for low-income Americans to fill up on cheaply; there's no limit to how good they can be, but also no floor to how bad they can get. Both were on par with the average quality found in upscale restaurants. Honestly, these are two dishes I would never order myself. To sum up: the atmosphere was great. It's also hard to get a reservation; the place was packed when we had lunch at 2 PM. Aside from that monkey bread, I didn't feel like anything else justified the price or offered something you couldn't find elsewhere. I don't quite get the hype. Perhaps I just didn't order the right dishes; maybe next time I'll try the burger and the steak.

The Thick Cut Bacon (8.5/10) was sweet, crunchy, and cooked perfectly. The Wagyu Cheeseburger (7.5/10) tasted good, but the bun was too dry, dense, and oversized for the burger. The King Crab Rangoon (8/10) was packed with crab, almost too much for my taste, but the sweet chili and hot mustard sauces balanced it out nicely. The Espresso Martini (6/10) was a pretty standard espresso martini. The Long Island Cold Brew (3/10) tasted like cold brew mixed with vodka, which just wasn't for me. Service was fine overall (7/10). The highlight was the complimentary sorbet they brought out for my friend's birthday. The vibes were classic Hogsalt with dim lighting, old-school jazz, and a cozy atmosphere (7/10).
