The California roll was made with overcooked rice, the Kung Pao chicken was oversalted, the spicy pork was half fat and half meat, the "green salad" was iceberg lettuce topped with something syrupy. The lady the work there is very nice but I sometimes don't understand what we talked about however she is so nice and makes the best teriyaki I have ever eat.., test I said it people. Really really good teriyaki. They have brown rice as an option for a buck and I'm happy to pay it. I usually get a large chicken teriyaki and that's enough for dinner and lunch the next day. They have Chinese food there as well. I've never tried it but it's there for ya. The lady who runs the front of the house is super sweet and has never messed up my order. The food comes out pretty quick. The sauce is thick, sweet and kinda salty. It's very good. My favorite thing about the place is it's consistency. We love Nori Presto. We live half a block away and it is our go to spot when we are not cooking. We've had their bento boxes, teriyaki, and stir fry dishes, and they are always really good! The family has hot soup or tea for people waiting on their orders. This is so nice on those cold and rainy nights where we are just waiting to get home with our food. Definitely a solid restaurant. I usually get food to go on my way home from the bus stop right next to it. The gyoza are tasty and the sushi/rolls are fresh and delicious. If you are in the area, I recommend trying it. For the record, the sushi has been moved from the sunlight as was mentioned in a previous post. You can't really go wrong with Teriyaki. But this place I particularly enjoy. It's a convenient place for me since I live across the street basically... They give you huge portions, the service is great, and they have so many different options. The price is fine as well. If you don't want your food too salty or too much sauce... just request it! I've been coming here for years and it's the only teriyaki place I consistently come back to. The owners are just the sweetest people greeting me with a smile every time I visit. I'm an Asian boy that loves his noodles, so I usually go with the beef yakisoba. I think they've recently changed the beef they use, and I'm fan. The beef isn't too greasy and the texture is great. I also really like their spicy chicken teriyaki, which is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, with just the right amount of kick. The complimentary miso soup is a great touch as well. read more

Went in for take out have eaten here a ton of times but when I asked for the shrimp to be put into a separate container do to Allergies I happened to be standing waiting for my order and saw them putting the shrimp in the same container as the rest of the food I reminded them it was to be packed separate I saw them remove the shrimp and try to put rice into the same shrimp spot close the container I said no you have to remake the whole container it's contaminated got a lot of attitude! told them you could kill some one with allergies!! I will watch you redo it. I will never eat here again ! the food is good the cali roll so good but I am definitely not willing to eat where they don't seem to care if they cause you physical harm or kill you but if you have no allergies, it's a good place for the amount of food and the price is average the staff is also average and none to bright or morally on top of it! too bad cause the other stuff is good read more

Great tasting teriyaki and gyoza combo but seems overpriced for the portions. The portions were a bit more generous a year ago.

The food is always fresh and cooked well, the prices are a tiny bit higher but the quality of food you get is well worth the extra dollar or so than going somewhere else. Their sesame tofu is a must if you like tofu. I have tried the generals chicken, teryaki and the bento box. Their California rolls are awesome, my personal favorite is getting half generals chicken and half sesame tofu which they are always willing to do for me :) read more

When it comes to Teriyaki I am very particular about My Teriyaki. So I was looking for a new place to try the other night because I haven't found a good one yet in Seattle. So I Googled and found Nori Presto. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the people behind the counters with a smile and a hello which right off the bat, great start. They made me feel like they wanted me there and it made me want to be there. So I was ordering for my girlfriend and I and she wanted the chicken yakisoba and I got the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken and chicken fried rice. I'm going to try to explain how my taste buds felt as soon as I started putting that goodness on my palate. That is hands-down the best teriyaki I've ever had in my life and I've had teriyaki at Teriyaki places all over the United States I would say all except for maybe 10 states. I'm wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke so I went back the next night, no fluke this place is legit. I I'm craving it right now just talking about it it melt-in-your-mouth everything I've tried so far is delicious I can't say enough about how they treat you how they make you feel welcome how they put a smile on my face. The one thing I would say is lacking is probably, well nothing, they nailed it. I give it 10 out of 10 stars and I've never given any place 10 Stars before so this is highly, highly recommended to everybody that reads this read more

Nori isn't Sushi Chef-quality sushi maki and nigiri, but for the price it is damn good! And they have an excellent selection of other food for those in your party who aren't up to eating raw fish, including hot wings, tempura, teriyaki and combination dinners. One of the best places for teriyaki that I've had in the city. The portion of food was exceptional and the quality of food was excellent. It wasn't overcooked and can taste that the meat was tender and well cooked. Compared to others that are dry and overcooked. Honestly, only tried a few items from their menu but, will definitely be trying a few more with my future visits to this establishment. Discovered this place thanks to a friend, and I'm so thankful! I love this place for it's nice, quiet atmosphere and delicious food! I try to force my friends and family to eat here all the time, and they seem to enjoy the food too! The Orange Chicken is to die for with it's flavorful sauce, and the Bento Boxes are affordable and adorable. Good food and great portions here! The only complaint I have is for dining in. I brought my family in and was directed to sit in the front near some less than desirable guests. My favorite local teriyaki joint. I get the large chicken teriyaki, the girlfriend gets some combo depending on what she's feeling like that day. I asked for extra sauce one day and the lady just gave me the bottle! Food it awesome. $20 that gets us 4 or 5 quality meals is totally worth it. The service is amazingly quick even when I dont call ahead. Under 10 minutes in and out when its busy. My girlfriend tells me the in house miso is amazing, I wouldn't know I'm not a miso person. Nothing is too salty, everything seems fresh and well prepared. Only complaint I have ever had was when their Pepsi machine was out of syrup. They refunded the cost of the drink and gave me a 20oz bottle to take home. Really wonderful place. read more

Over the past five years I have eaten at Nori Presto at least a hundred times and it is always good. (To be honest I have only ordered the chicken breast teryaki and gyoza so I can really review anything else, and they have a pretty big menu.) This is a very clean and quick place to eat as well. Went to Nori based on a recommendation from my B-I-L. Ordered the Chicken Yakisoba. When it arrived, I realized why I got the recommendation, the smell was eerily familiar. I took one bite, got up, and went to speak with the lady working up front. I asked where she was from, and she said Okinawa, near Sunabe. I lived there, back in the 80s, and realized we were within blocks of each other. Now 6K miles difference, what small world. We were looking for a place to eat before seeing a movie at the Crest (help- is there ANY good dining up North??) and I checked Yelp for reviews and found this place. I wanted sushi, but when we got there the sushi case was right smack in the baking hot sun, and I suddenly lost my appetite for sushi. What else to order then? My hubby ordered the beef yakisoba and I ordered sweet and sour chicken. Both were fine considering we were sitting in a strip mall in Shoreline, but I could never eat there again and still be a fulfilled person. The s&s dish was too sugary- just how I hate American chinese food to be, but the noodles were OK if a little oily. I can't recommend the place, but we only had 2 dishes and perhaps the rest of the menu has some better choices. I would stay away from sushi during the summer months unless they move their case out of the direct sun. Could spell trouble for yer tummy. read more

Their teriyaki is the best jn town I've ever had!! Their short ribs are pretty good as well. They marinate the meat all the way and know how to barbecue! Im torn between two and three stars. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and a spicy tuna roll, both 7.99. The shrimp tempura roll might have been worth close to that, it was fresh, and I could tell they had made it when I ordered it. The spicy tuna roll, however, had been sitting in the fridge for who knows how long. The rice was cold and not nearly as fresh tasting. Plus my table was pretty sticky before I sat down, and no other patrons were in there keeping them busy, so they could have whiped it down. read more
