    Salmon and foie gras

If you want to treat yourself to an amazing sushi dinner, I highly recommend this place. Me and some friends were able to have the whole place to ourselves to celebrate a birthday, and it was one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had. First of all, each course of the omakase experience was amazing. So many pieces of the fish would just melt in your mouth, and they had great flavors, and you could tell they were made with precision and great craftsmanship. The tuna collar, King Kong roll, and salmon with foie gras were my favorite pieces. On top of that, we were also able to control the music being played, and they gave us a mic so we could sing along and have our own karaoke session. The chefs would even sing along with us and would occasionally take a drink with us as well. It was such a fun experience and some of the best sushi I've ever had. The vibe inside is very clean and modern, and the service is amazing. This place rocks!

AmaZing, truly amazing. Everything about it was perfect. The food, the service, the atmosphere: truly perfect. Best sushi I've ever had!

Definitely the best omakase experience ive ever had from the actual fish and food to the ambiance and vibe overall!!! came on a Friday at 6pm to celebrate my roommate and I living together. this place was literally 3 blocks away and we always heard great things but never had the chance to go. the price is mad fair - 18 courses for 100ish is incredible. it was my roommates bday so they even gave us free shots and a hand roll w a candle at the end and it was good!!! restaurants rarely do anything for bdays anymore so this was a nice tough service was great too the staff was so kind and accommodating as we were 10 min late to our reservation def recommend and def am returning

Pretty good fish quality. Didn't feel rushed for omakase. Very calm crowd when we dined that day.

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE HERE!! 15 pieces for $89 a person - such a steal!! The quality of the fish was unbelievable and each piece melted in my mouth. The variety of fish and flavors was also amazing. I came here for my mom's birthday, and the house gave us free sake and a handroll! The service was super nice and friendly and very attentive (i.e. refilled our water cups whenever our cups were 2/3 empty, offering napkins if we needed). Size of the space was small, but certainly reasonable given the size of other omakase places (the seating fit about 10 people, and there were benches for people to sit on while waiting). Will definitely be coming back.

So.... I don't like fish but I made a reservation for two for Korami because their à la carte nigiri menu looked amazing. My companion had their regular omakase and I ordered only off the à la carte menu (I definitely made sure to order at least $90 worth of nigiri to make up for the fact that I wasn't doing their $89 omakase). However, I did feel bad for ruining their flow. The few fish nigiri that I did try were nice like a white fish (maybe nodoguro) and their tuna. The way they season the fish was better and more unique than some sushi spots I've been to. What I ate though was mostly their uni and A5 à la carte nigiri pieces and the blue crab hand roll. Those were amazing items that I can't stop raving about. The servers were very nice and accommodating, especially since I was only eating two to three things. As for the ambiance, it's a no frills place but it's very clean and the sake selection was pretty decent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves nigiri.

A solid spot for adorable omakase in the city. The fish was fresh and pieces were thick -- uni was lowkey the best I've ever had? I liked the seasonings and salts, very traditional omakase with fish, rice, swipe of soy sauce. They have really fun nigiri for purchase after the initial omakase too!

Another amazing omakase experience at Korami. If you want hands down one of the best meals come an see Alan, Sherry, Chef Andy and Chef Kong.

I'm absolutely obsessed with omakases--there's just something about watching the chefs in action and seeing the artistry behind each dish. Omakase by Korami blew me away with their incredible 15-course omakase for under $100 (yes, under $100!). The quality and variety are unmatched for the price. Highlights of the night? The rich foie gras, the perfectly seared otoro topped with caviar, and the decadent truffle wagyu--I couldn't say no. If you're in New York, this spot is a must-visit. The flavors, presentation, and value all make it an unforgettable dining experience. Easily one of my favorite affordable omakases.

Great classic omakase! Really yummy, solid omakase experience. Nothing super unique outside of the regular omakase experience, but they do the basics and fish well. Sashimi was very fresh, everything was served timely. The space itself is very small and intimate which makes it great for a nice date or intimate catchup. Service is efficient and kind overall.

Quaint relaxed spot with affordable but delicious omakase. A great experience that won't break the bank. Food: Made reservations beforehand to try and catch a prime time. All there is to the establishment is the sushi bar and the benches surrounding it. The standard is a seasonal 15 course meal and once you walk in and get seated the flurry of sushi begins. All of it was so simple, fresh, and delicious. Some highlights include: the unctuous A5 wagyu hand roll and the buttery otoro tuna with briney caviar nigiri. Service: Every one is on top of each guest and they make sure everyone is well accommodated fore. It's always so fun to interact and watch the sushi chefs work their craft. Top notch! Many might think omakase is expensive but forget you're also paying for the service and the show. Ambiance: It is a very intimate affair of 10 stools and 4 highly skilled chefs, professional but relaxed. Elevated but not luxurious.

This is now my top 3 Omakase restaurants. The the fish was so fresh it was unbelievable. I don't love uni.. but after having it here, my mind was blown. The freshness was unbelievable. The chefs and staff are also really great. I can't wait to go back soon.

Is it still BYOB? Yelp says it is, but I see liquor is now sold directly as well.

The atmosphere here was a bit more lively and crowded compared to the more relaxed vibe of the UWS spot. I enjoyed my meal even more this time around. I started with the beet salad, which was delicious and offered great value given the generous portion size. it featured sliced beets, arugula, goat cheese, and walnuts. I also had my eye on the hijiki soybean salad--which is a bit smaller and reportedly homemade--so I may try that next time, along with the warm mushroom salad which looked very tasty. The edamame was standard but served as a nice starter. For my main rolls, I chose the salmon avocado and the yellowtail scallion. Both were very fresh and definitely worth ordering again. The salmon avocado roll had a nice touch of sesame seeds on the rice, while the yellowtail scallion was prepared with the seaweed on the outside. My boyfriend's sushi entree looked excellent, so I am considering that or the sushi-sashimi combo for my next visit. The entrees provide a substantial amount of food, and I especially appreciate that they allow you to choose which roll comes with your meal.
